WSJ víncula a Salinas Pliego con empresa ligada a caso de corrupción

Ricardo Salinas Pliego, presiente del Grupo Salinas (Foto: Cuartoscuro) El multimillonario mexicano, Ricardo Salinas Pliego, está vinculado a entidades con sede en Europa que poseían grandes acciones de Grupo Fertinal, informó este miércoles The Wall Street Journal (WSJ). El empresario, presidente de Grupo Salinas y Grupo Elektra, tenía nexos con la productora de fertilizantes desde antes de que Petróleos Mexicanos (Pemex) comprara a sobreprecio la empresa. Así lo revelaron documentos corporativos a los que el medio estadounidense tuvo acceso. De esta manera, Salinas Pliego, el tercer hombre más rico de México según la revista Forbes, se habría beneficiado de la transacción económica entre Pemex y Fertinal. En meses pasados, Proceso había dado a conocer que el dueño de Grupo Salinas tuvo puestos clave dentro de Grupo Fertinal. Sin embargo, el propio empresario negó en tal ocasión ser socio de la compañía y sólo reconoció que tal empresa tenía una deuda con Banco Azteca por un crédito de USD 406 millones.

Pemex compró Fertinal por un sobreprecio de casi USD 200 millones (Foto: Archivo) "La mayor parte del precio de compra pagado por Pemex fue para pagar esa deuda al valor total, un movimiento inusual al comprar una empresa en problemas", indicó WSJ. Y agregó que "la compra, que cerró el día antes de que venciera la deuda de Fertinal con Azteca, ha resultado extremadamente costosa para Pemex". Según la investigación del medio estadounidense, Salinas Pliego obtuvo beneficios adicionales con la transacción de Pemex. Esto debido a que el empresario está ligado a NPK Holding AB, compañía con sede en Suecia que poseía el 24.4% de Fertinal, así como a Base Rock BVBA, firma registrada en Bélgica, que tenía 4.5% de las acciones de la empresa de fertilizantes. NPK Holding nació en 2012 de la fusión de las compañías NPK Chemical Investments BVBA y NPK Chemical Holdings BVBA. En ambas, el representante legal era Miguel Irurita Tomasena, quien fue miembro del consejo de Grupo Elktra, Salinas y Rocha, y de Banco Azteca. El WSJ explica que NPK Holding es un misterio, y aunque tiene su supuesta sede en la ciudad sueca de Malmö, no tiene empleados ni oficina. "A lo largo de los años, muestran documentos, NPK ha invertido en varias compañías dirigidas por ejecutivos quien han tenido posiciones en negocios de Salinas Pliego", señaló.

"Otra transacción no relacionada muestra una conexión adicional entre Salinas Pliego y NPK Holding. En 2007, una compañía mexicana conocida como Surmaq SA compró un granterreno cerca del aeropuerto de Cancún por alrededor de USD 2 millones. NPK Holding, el accionista principal, es propietario de Surmaq a través de dos sociedades de cartera con sede en Luxemburgo, según el registro financiero registrado en Luxemburgo y Suecia". El empresario se negó a conceder una entrevista el rotativo extranjero. Por su parte, Luciano Pascoe, vocero de Grupo Salinas, aseguró que el grupo no tenía ninguna participación en Fertinal más allá de los préstamos hechos por Banco Azteca. También dijo que el empresario no tiene acción a título personal de NPK Holding.

Al ganar las elecciones, el tabasqueño conformó un grupo de asesores empresariales entre los que figuraba el dueño de Grupo Elektra. Luego de que Proceso publicara su investigación, y tras cuestionar a Obrador, éste lo defendió. "No hay una denuncia contra Salinas Pliego", dijo, en referencia al caso Fertinal. En declaraciones al WSJ, el abogado Luis Pérez de Acha, quien trabajó con el presidente durante su campaña de 2005, declaró que éste debe hacerse a un lado para que las autoridades investigues a Salinas Pliego. "Fracturaría el discurso completo de López Obrador contra la corrupción si protege a alguien que es corrupto", dijo. Pemex compró Fertinal en 2016, por un precio de USD 635 millones. Tiempo después, determinó que la transacción tuvo un sobreprecio de casi USD 200 millones. Emilio Lozoya Austin, ex director de Pemex, es buscado por las autoridades por este caso de corrupción. Hasta el momento es el único funcionario involucrado. Sin embargo, su abogado ha dicho en reiteradas ocasiones que tiene pruebas que demuestras que Luis Videgaray y hasta el ex presidente Enrique Peña Nieto fueron los que la orquestaron.

We don’t follow that line of inquiry long because here is White Hat to tell her that they have the Black Sky And by Black Sky we all know they mean Elektra, who we next see in a body bag of sorts.

Then eventually we end up at that same casket where we last saw Elektra in the end of Daredevil--much mystical sorcery is taking place and I have no idea what's up except that we're pouring blood into the coffin or something?
