welcome to my blurb masterlist for my bridgerton x other historical/period pieces series!

I had the idea to write characters based on my favourite historical/period pieces and put them in the bridgerton world! chances are they will be y/n or x reader, but i thought i would merge my general love of period dramas with my love of writing for bridgerton and make a little series out of it!

(I have the ideas for a little women inspired one and a sound of music inspired one, but if anyone has any other ideas let me know)

hey guys so

who would be interested if i wrote a mini-series Benedict bridgerton x reader, like a dark multi-shot, might or might not be inspired by fortnight by Taylor Swift because in my opinion one of the complex songs on this album, you've got to trust the process, I MIGHT GET A LOT OF BLACK LASH BUT ALRIGHT I am kinda proud of it, gonna include a slight cheating warning. So who wants to be on the taglist?

Side curls for Parr being completely phased out is upsetting, but I love Eloise’s puffy Parr pony. It reminds me of Amelia Walker’s original Parr hairstyle.

Finally watched Bridgerton and now I have thoughts. Below the cut for spoilers

- as a lover of Downton Abbey, I really thought the modern music and cartoonish caricature of Queen Charlotte would bother me, but I've been pleasantly surprised.

- Daphne is a wet blanket. The best part of season 1 was the sibling banter

- Eloise was my instant fav but Benedict is my slow burn fav

- Anthony is the hottest Bridgerton but homeboy is trash

- Eloise way over-reacted to Lady Whistle down exposing her when she had already schemed putting out a fake edition bad mouthing herself to get QC off the scent

- I kind of love Mama Featherington. She is messy and overly critical, but damn if she doesn't fight for her daughters. Respect. Would stay the hell away from her, but respect

- the use of ABCDEFU as Penelope's reintroduction song after her make over was 🤌 ~*chef's kiss*~

- I may be in the minority but I actually loved Colin's proposal

If there's something I'd change from Bridgerton is rather than having an array of pop music and some classic, give each sibling a genre to lean on. I loved Queen Charlotte because the big songs from that were RnB songs, so it would be interesting to see that.

One person I hope they do it for is Francesca, where I hope her songs are modern songs with classical music interpolations like Daughter by Beyonce or Redrum by 21 savage but not that song particularly.
