Geraskier + 35. Bets/teasing with increasing physical stakes makes character confront their feelings

“I can’t help it, Geralt, it’s simply my magnetic charm!”

Geralt gives Jaskier a withering look. It would be more effective if they weren’t both red-faced and sweating. “Uh huh.”

“How am I to turn down the fine ladies and gentlemen of the continent, when they express their interest so freely? It would be uncouth of me to spurn their advances, would it not?”

Geralt glances behind him to check if they’re still being pursued by an angry husband and several brothers. They are.

“Shut up and run!” he barks.

They round the corner and take shelter in an alleyway, both breathing heavily. “Could you not keep it in your pants, just for once?” he growls.

“And deprive the people of what they so clearly desire?”

“Is there something wrong with your head, or is it simply that all the blood flows directly to your prick? You couldn’t go without carnal pleasures if you life depended on it!”

“Hah!” Jaskier rounds on him triumphantly. “That’s where you’re wrong. I could go without, but I choose not to.”

“Alright then.” A mean smile spreads across his face. “Let’s make it interesting.” He produces a couple of fat golden orens from the bottom of his nearly-empty purse. “This gold says you won’t last a month.”

Jaskier’s eyes narrow. “You’re on.”

“I can only apologise, my dearest angel, my vision of loveliness.” Jaskier is waving his tankard at the pretty barmaid. “But my stalwart companion here has forbidden me from engaging with others as intimately I might wish. Alas for the loss to us both.”

She frowns and turns back to wiping down the bar. Jaskier scowls at Geralt who puffs up, delighted with himself.

“How were you planning to gain entrance?” Jaskier squints at the castle, bedecked for a feast, but with an imposing number of guards at every door.

“We’ll use a hook and some rope to scale the walls,” Geralt decides. He’s sure the vampire they're looking for is inside.

“As you like,” Jaskier shrugs. “I was going to blow one of the guards, but I guess your way works too.”

“Look. It doesn’t count.” Jaskier’s voice is tight from the other side of the fire.

Geralt spreads himself comfortably on the leafy ground and bites back a smile. “It does, Jaskier. Those are the rules.”

“We could decide it doesn’t count, see? And then wouldn’t life be better for everyone?”

“Nope.” Geralt pops the p, highly amused.

“I cannot believe you would debase me in this way.”

“Actually, you’re the one looking to debase yourself.”

“It’s barbaric to not let me jerk off! You heartless monster. You utter fiend. You cruel bastard.”

“Go to sleep, Jaskier. We’ve got a long day tomorrow.”

“I hate you so much.”

Three weeks later and Jaskier is climbing the walls. He has to keep sitting down and fanning himself, "lest he find himself overwhelmed entirely.”

He’s snittier than ever in the mornings, and he grouses no end, and Geralt is having the time of his life.

They find an inn, a nice one, and it’s even got a bath. Jaskier is strangely happy about this turn of events, fetching warm water and inviting Geralt in.

He washes Geralt’s hair, fingers scratching lightly at his scalp. He runs soapy water up his arms, and across his shoulders, and down his back, clever fingers finding the knots in the muscle there and kneading them out.

“Feeling good, darling?” Jaskier asks, very close, breath hot in his ear.

Geralt bites his lips and unconsciously spreads his legs.

“Mmm, very nice.” Jaskier rubs soap up the arch of his calves, over his knees, and up the inside of his thighs. “You like that.”

His fingertips rub the soft skin there, playing in teasing circles. “I wonder what else you might like.”

Geralt’s breath stops. He’s hard beneath the water and he knows Jaskier can see it.

“Oh, I’m sorry.” Jaskier stops, hand just shy of where Geralt wants it so badly. “That would be against the rules, wouldn’t it?”

Geralt forces in a breath. “Get on with it, you horrendous tease.”

Jaskier pulls his wrist out of the water and Geralt almost whines. “No, I don’t think I shall. After all, a bet’s a bet, isn’t it?”

He’s grinning manically. The cunning little weasel.

Geralt growls, grabs his wrist, and yanks him into the bath, clothes and all. He squeals and swears, complaining about the precious silk of his doublet, but he ends up pulled into Geralt’s lap and making himself very comfortable, so no great loss there.

“I take it you’re relenting and admitting defeat?” Geralt asks as Jaskier grinds down against him.

“Most certainly not.” Jaskier gives him a sly look. “In fact, I'm pretty confident that I just won.”

3. what’s your favorite candle scent?

I don’t think I have candles in my house actually. But I do love baking scents, like warm vanilla or cinnamon.

10. what’s something you’re excited for?

This is actually kinda hard to answer, because all I have been feeling about the future is anxiety. I guess maybe updates to some fics I’m reading would be the most genuine answer.

30. what reminds you of home (doesn’t have to mean house… just things that remind you of the feeling of home)?

ahahahahahaaaaa oh its okay it was one of those off topic episodes- some tentacle god this angry man of letters brought through a rift 100 years ago was gonna make dean host it’s tentacle god mate but its okay cuz it had to be resolved in 41 minutes. long story short all tentacles went back where they came from.

If we’re talking current then I don’t even know where to start, but one thing is being competitive can be really fun sometimes
