Two new small enamelled pieces. Last few days have been mostly spent cleaning up all the enamelled work I have done recently and repairing cracks etc. But I did manage to stencil these today 😀 This means even more wood to be prepared to mount all these tiles. That will happen soon... @palletwoodstuff has done some #shousugiban wood burning for me today. Feeling happy with what I have learnt and what I have made. Next week onwards priority is more hammering and forging. #workinprogress - Repair and re-mount of 3 Somewhere Near Stamford series enamelled copper tiles. - First coat of @hampshiresheen intrinsic colour black waiting to dry. - I will add 2nd coat later this evening and it will ready to mount the tiles. - Then I will give it a coat of black bison wax. Now I am going to tidy up the tiles and repair the cracks in enamel. Today's enamelling session was OK... Didn't get as much done as I had hoped to. Didn't get very far with the wall art pieces and I am not sure I like the green bracelet components. #treasure! 😀 New enamel seller information below. I recently found out that the enamel manufacturer I have bought from so far is no longer selling direct. They are now only accepting wholesale orders. Unfortunately I cannot afford that. At the moment I do not have the set-up to become a reseller either - not enough space, funds or time. Luckily I have found someone who stocks WG Ball enamels & decorative media. They are fairly local too. So if you are looking for enamel for your small business or if you are a hobbyist contact Corby Kilns. Do a google search, I have not seen them on social media. Lovely lady called Julie who answered the phone is very helpful. They are waiting for some more colours to arrive and then I will place another order.
