Bianca Umali is Terra! Daughter of Sang'gre Danaya. Honestly, I am no longer surprised bc it has been circulating all over Enca's other fan pages. But I'm not mad, Bianca is absolutely gorgeous and a good actress as well.
Though at the back of my mind I was hoping that it will be another young actress bc she has already played Lawiswis (if I'm not mistaken) in Mulawin vs Ravena...which is in a way connected to the lore of Encantadia. Anyhoo I'm still very excited, idk if Glaiza (Pirena), Kylie (Amihan), Gabbi (Alena), Sanya (Danaya) and the rest of the 2016-2017 cast will still get to play their characters in Sang'gre. Ruru is doing Black Rider rn but bitch I need my Ybramihan wedding!!!
I wonder who's gonna be playing Cassandra, Adamus and Pirena's [unnamed] other daughter? I am so excited for more cast reveal, I will definitely be watching the entire series and I hope I can bring the 4Rs series back. I have a lot going on in my life right now but I'll find ways 😁😁

Thoughts about some fan theories about the highly anticipated Encantadia Chronicles: Sang'gre
WHO IS DEIA?
I guess this is the number one question the fans are asking right now. But one thing is for sure, Cassandra and Deia are NOT one and the same. This has already been confirmed by Suzette Doctolero herself, the character of Cassandra hasn't been introduced yet and the actress who's gonna play her remains a mystery.
Here are some other fan theories about Sang'gre Deia:
That Sang'gre Deia is the daughter of Ybrahim and Ariana
-No, I don't think so. Ybrahim and Ariana had some sort of connection because Amihan's soul was inside the latter's body. However, their relationship NEVER developed and Ybrahim only found out about the whole sarkosi thing in the final episode when Ariana was killed for the second time thus freeing Amihan's soul. Without Amihan inside her body, Ybrahim would never even bat an eye on Ariana. The best thing that could happen with these two is to have a cordial or civil relationship (due to Ariana's friendship with Lira).
2. Deia is the daughter of Cassandra
-I have a 50/50 opinion about this. Cassandra was born after the war between the sang'gres and Hagorn's forces and Lira was seen holding baby Cassandra along with Danaya, Alena and Pirena with their own babies. It was implied in the finale that the little girl in blue was Cassandra playing at the beach with Flamarra, Adamus and Terra. Meaning to say that she's around the same age as the other sang'gres, which means Cassandra is too young to have a daughter around Deia's age (unless her growth was magically sped up to make her older).
But the more I think about it...
What if the writers purposely left out some details and the girl in blue was actually Deia? And that scene was actually before Cassandra's birth? I saw Angel Guardian's photo with Ms Iza Calzado who played the original version of Amihan on her instagram account and apparently, Sang'gre Deia was actually named after Iza's daughter Deia Amihan. Are they giving hints of Deia being Amihan's second daughter? IMO this actually makes more sense than Deia being Amihan's great granddaughter.
ADAMUS IS TERRA'S LOVE INTEREST, AND THEY'RE TRYING TO RECREATE ANOTHER YBRAMIHAN LOVE STORY
I'm not a hypocrite, I support Ybramihan, Daemyra, Helaemond and Jonerys and yes, they're all related by blood (but I don't fucking support that shit in real life, I know the difference between fantasy and reality okay?).
This is highly unlikely. SD has made it clear that they're not trying to recreate the Ybramihan love team. Speaking of which, I just find it funny that there are people who are calling out the YA ship for being incest when nobody gave a fuck about it in 2016. Armeo and Raquim are first degree cousins (according to Etheria 2006, King Armeo's namesake, Prince Armeo was the brother of King Meno who died long before the war against Etheria), which makes Ybrahim and Amihan second cousins. Emre CHOSE Ybrahim to father Amihan's heir, and to top all that, they're not humans.
I have a theory about this:
If you're a Percy Jackson fan and you have read all PJO books, you know that the demigods' godly parents are all related which makes them in a way related as well. BUT, they are allowed to date other demigods as long as their partners aren't born from the same godly parent (otherwise, they would be dating their own sibling) so it doesn't matter if their godly parents are siblings, cousins, etc. Maybe, the same thing applies to engkantados. Perhaps they are allowed to date or marry someone from their family as long as it's not an immediate or a first degree family member. Again, this is just my own theory.
IS ARMEA GOING TO EXIST IN THE SEQUEL?
SD did not give a direct answer, but if you ask me my answer is no. Adamus is the Armea of this version of Encantadia. Alena has already moved on from Ybrahim although they maintained a cordial relationship with each other. Besides, I don't think Alena would want to bypass Lira once more by having her own heir to the Lirean throne. Lira is the rightful heir to the throne and Alena would be happy to pass the crown to her one day. Cassandra is already named crown princess of Sapiro and King Ybrahim's heir by Cassiopeia herself, so for me, as much as I love Armea in Pag-ibig Hanggang Wakas, there's no need for an Armea in this version.
There are so many crazy theories out there but these are the ones that really caught my attention. Btw, these are all from Suzette Doctolero's X page and she has been reposting and answering some fan questions and theories, feel free to check them out.

I've been rewatching encantadia 2016 lately and this has been bugging me lately... This is about Lira's prophecy... First, is that she will bring encantadia to an era of peace and prosperity (hence "ang tagapagligtas ng encantadia".) And the second part which is "Her brother is the one "destined (itinakdang) to kill her. There are a lot of episodes that this was pointed out by both Cassiopeia and Ether. Like that episode when Ether was wiping everybody's memories of her because she was preparing her for the "person" that was meant to end her... This plot hole is still bugging me after all these years. What are your thoughts? Since Sanggre is now in the works, I wonder if they still can remember this... Because honestly, Lira was instrumental in bringing the sisters together but, watching closely, i think they would've still gotten back together with or without her...
For me, I think the reason why Lira didn't get to do much about her mission to reunite the Sang'gres and be the bringer of peace in the first half of the 2016 version (unlike its original counterpart), was that they were focused too much on the love triangle between Amihan, Ybrahim and Alena.
When Ether wiped out everyone's memory of Lira, I thought she'd use the opportunity to get closer to Pirena or...at least Alena and find ways to bring all four of them together. While I understand how desperate she was to make her family especially her parents remember her once more, I was kinda disappointed that she didn't think of her situation as a way to do what she's supposed to do.
As for the Sang'gres reuniting once more, I do agree that even without Lira, the sisters could have sorted things out and rebuilt their relationship on their own. They only needed time: for Alena to heal, for Pirena to be humbled, and for Danaya to soften up. Amihan never held grudges against her sisters despite all the pain she and her siblings went through, she waited for them and when the time came she welcomed them with open arms. Lira barely had anything to do with it.
Even in the war against Hagorn and the Hadezars, she really didn't do anything unlike the 2005 version when Lira didn't only succeed in reuniting the Sang'gres, she was the reason why other engkantados gained the courage to fight beside them.
Amihan ended up doing her daughter's mission, she was the real tagapagligtas and the bringer of peace (to be fair, Cassiopeia prophesized that Amihan was one of the leaders who will bring Hathoria down in one of the episodes).
When Amihan died in the second half of the show I was really hoping for a character development for her and Mira but alas, the screen writers killed her once more, then brought her back to life, then put her in a coma, and then brought her back at the finale.
Lira was one of my favourite characters in the original Encantadia saga but the 2016 version did her dirty.
As for Kahlil, he was just born to be a mere tool for everyone to use. I never liked how sad and tragic his story was even in the original and I was hoping for him to play a huge role at least in the second half of the show, but it never happened.
These siblings had so much potential, but they just wasted them which still makes me upset until now.

Avisala! Meet our new Sang'gres!
Bianca Umali as Terra, daughter of Sang'gre Danaya
Faith Da Silva as Flamarra, daughter of Sang'gre Pirena
Kelvin Miranda as Adamus, son of Sang'gre Alena
Angel Guardian as Deia
-
I've seen these actors from other shows before and I have to say that they actually have a lot of potential...
BUT WHERE IS CASSANDRA?!
She was literally shown at the finale episode and she's not one of the main characters wtf?
Angel Guardian kinda looks like Mikee so I was expecting that she was gonna play Lira's daughter. Right now I have a lot of things/crazy theories in mind:
1. Deia is the only character who's from the mortal world (like Paopao)
2. She is (hopefully) Ybramihan baby #2 which makes her Lira's younger sister. Idk maybe Emre granted Amihan another chance to live considering how fucked up her life was in the second half of season 1 **coughs in sarkosi**
3. She's Cassandra in disguise
Honestly, I'm freaking the fuck out that they did not introduce Sang'gre Cassandra. The girl literally grew up with the other new generation of Sang'gres so it's definitely not set in the timeline prior to her birth.
But come to think of it, there are five elements that make up the mother gem so Cassandra could be the new keeper of the brilyante ng diwa...but why was she not introduced as one of the main characters?
Anyhoo, I'm still excited for Sang'gre. I'm crossing my fingers that the 2016-2017 cast will still be part or at least make an appearance to the show.

Rhian Ramos is Mitena, Cassiopeia's twin sister who is going to be the main villain on the show.
Giiiiirl, I have always, always wanted Rhian to be a part of Encantadia and I am so happy that she's finally here! ❤️ I am so impressed with her latest performance as Margaret Royales in Royal Blood and I just know that she's gonna nail this role. I hope and pray that Solenn is going to reprise her role as Cassiopeia.
I am also happy to see Glaiza back as Hara Pirena, still wishing for Sanya, Gabbi and Kylie to be part of the show 😭.
Anyways, these are the rest of the cast members:
Tumblr media
I see some really seasoned actors like Sherilyn Reyes, Ricky Davao and Bianca Manalo and some fresh faces whom I hope will not disappoint.

📷 It's Showtime & Encantadia Chronicles: Sang'gre Facebook pages
The OG Sang'gres in one frame 😭😭 there was a part in their performance where they held hands as they fight off the bad guys which reminded me of that scene in Etheria (2006) where the Sang'gres kicked the Etherian soldiers' asses while being chained to each other (one of my favourite scenes in the show).
My wish for an epic Sang'gre 2005 vs Sang'gre 2016 showdown still remains. If Karylle can gather all of her sisters together for a performance in a TV show (partida walang franchise 'yan ha?), I am hoping that GMA, direk Mark, & madam SD could make it happen too.
Happy to see Taylor Sheesh, BGYO, BINI, David Licauco, Roselle Nava & her kids as well.
Oh, and Argus is such a cutie.

Okay sooooo we all know that DMR and the Enca team are currently working on Sang'gre right?
Direk Mark posted on his ig that he, madam Suzi and the rest of the team are working on the script, casting, etc. and I've read on some fan pages on Facebook that the show will be top billed by Bianca Umali.
The actress is (idk if this is confirmed already) set to play a character who has been exhibiting magical powers, not knowing that she is actually the daughter of Sang'gre Danaya. Now this plot is quite familiar to me because a few years after the original Encantadia ended in 2006, I remember GMA teasing the comeback of this well-loved show (I forgot what year it was), but for some reason it was pushed back (and shelved for awhile?) until 2016.
However, from what I recall the story (at least according to Enca fan pages and fan sites) was going to focus on the new generation of Sang'gres and what happened to Encantadia after the sisters Pirena, Amihan, Alena and Danaya "left" (in the finale of PHW), leaving Encantadia under the care of Cassandra (daughter of Lira, Queen of Lireo), Armea (daughter of Ybrahim and Alena, Queen of Sapiro), and Arman (son of Ybrahim and Odessa who became the story teller and the one who's watching over Adamya).
So imagine how surprised I was when GMA announced that it was going to be a remake.
Going back prior to Enca 2016, I've been reading articles from fan sites and fan pages that Arde was going to be the new main antagonist, a new kingdom will rise after Hathoria was destroyed by Pirena, Cassandra having no female heir to succeed her as queen, etc. and there was a part in that article saying that Aquil and Danaya's daughter will be whisked away to the mortal world and...you know the whole thought of that was DanQuil's daughter discovering her powers and stuff like that.
[ I'd like to point out though that none of these were confirmed by GMA-7, DMR and SD as far as I'm concerned because like I said, the Enca project was pushed back (or shelved, idk) until like 7 years ago. ]
Anyway, does that ring any bells?
Yup, that's the story of Lira 2005, and I'm emphasizing the original story of this character bc in contrast to the 2016 version, Lira has absolutely no idea about her true identity and didn't understand why she has powers, thought that Muyak was imaginary, and Anthony even thought that she was schizophrenic (I forgot which episodes were those but the earlier episodes). Whilst Lira 2016 has always known that she was a diwata and her story was more focused on going back to Encantadia, not as complicated as her OG counterpart.
Don't get me wrong, I'm really excited for Sang'gre but if that story of DanQuil's daughter turns out to be true, then I'd be disappointed because that story has been told already, para na rin nilang ni-recycle 'yung kuwento ni Lira (and Amihan at some point).
But it's Suzette Doctolero and Direk Mark Reyes, I know they'll always come up with fresh and exciting ideas and storylines. So I'm really looking forward for the portal to finally reopen and I am so excited to be whisked away into the world of Encantadia once more.
Also, I'm crossing my fingers for a Glaiza-Kylie-Gabbi-Sanya reunion, and an Ybramihan wedding (DMR and SD beke nemen)
P.S. Casting department galingan niyo naman hahaha! We all know what happened on the second half of Enca 2016 *coughs in sarkosi*, so...do better please?

Okay, so I’ve been rewatching Encantadia because of that YbraMihan craving 😂
Anyway, I’m curious to know your thoughts. In that scene where Amihan meets Ybrahim in her dream so she’ll have another tagapagmana, what do you think would have happened if she didn’t stop it from happening? If she gave in to her “selfishness” and got together with Ybrahim again to have another child with him?
Good question, I'm rewatching Encantadia 2005 because of @zarahjoyce skl 😂
-Looking back to that episode, I had two thoughts in mind:
1. That the dream wasn't really a chance for them to procreate once more but to help them regain their memory of Lira thus ending the amnesia arc. (but that would have been too easy, as much as I hated that arc, it did help build up some of the characters).
2. If Amihan gave in, and she conceived another child with Ybrahim, Alena would have hated her more than Pirena ever did. In Alena's point of view, she would have thought of it as either bathalang Emre being unfair or Amihan being selfish af. Because Amihan not only gets to have another child but she gets to have another child with the man Alena loves. While the latter on the other hand, who at that time was still grieving over the death of her son, Ybrahim was the only one she could really rely on. And considering that timeline wherein Alena was trying to save her relationship with Ybrahim (despite knowing that he was already in-love with Amihan), the birth of Ybramihan baby #2 whether it was because of Emre's will or Amihan's choice or both, it would have been a huge slap on her face.
And that would have worsened Alena's pain.
Anyhoo, If Ybrahim and Amihan had a second child, I have always had this feeling that they would have had a son. Not only because I like the idea of having a male sang'gre (apart from Kahlil who's already dead), but it's like sending a message that no matter what, Lira will still be queen of Lireo one day. Plus Ybrahim needs an heir to the throne of Sapiro 😁😁.
So those were my two cents ❤️

If I remember correctly, back in 2016 or 2017 madam SD did mention that Encantadia will be having 4 books/seasons in total.
This new season will probably be focusing on the new generation of sang'gres, but I'm really hoping that the cast from the previous season will still be included. I'm still bummed about Lira and Mira's character growth, I still need to see Pirena, Amihan, Alena and Danaya kicking ass once more, and Emre parang awa mo na I NEED TO SEE AN YBRAMIHAN WEDDING!!!!
BUT, I am also low-key wishing for a spin-off series maybe? Like a story about Mine-a, Amihan I, Cassiopeia, her twin and Adhara. I think it would be really nice too.
What do you guys think?

So recently, our queens Gabbi, Kylie, Glaiza and Sanya made their appearances on Alden’s Victor Magtanggol series and as an Encantadia fan, of course I freakin’ watched the episodes where the four sang’gres were in it, and for the record, this is the only time I’ve watched VM. For those of you who missed these episodes here is a little overview:
Hammerman was fighting some bad guys and got wounded in the process, he was able to escape from his perpetrators but unfortunately got into an accident and suffered from temporary memory loss. The sisters Ina (Glaiza), Ami (Kylie), Lena (Gabbi) and Aya (Sanya) found him, took him in and tended his wounds which weren’t that bad luckily. At first, the sisters did not trust him except for Ami who considered him a friend right away, but they eventually warmed up to him after VM defended them from the greedy Alcala (Pen Medina) who apparently has been wanting to buy the land that the sisters inherited from their parents.
Ooookaaaay, I seriously thought that it was going to be a VM and Encantadia crossover–I was wrong. The sisters were mortals and they were wearing costumes (probably from an event somewhere) on their way home when they found Victor which was why the latter thought they were diwatas. I’m not gonna lie, although I was kind of worried at first, I became disappointed because I was EXPECTING a damn crossover bruh! I thought Victor would discover some magical portal somewhere and voila! Welcome to Encantadia dude.
I was relieved but kind of irritated at the same time because…the deception my ghad! (Y’all are good at trolling tho). Relieved because they didn’t push through the crossover and gave the sisters different characters, different setting instead. Merging the Enca-verse and VM’s world would be very difficult and if not planned and executed well could fuck up the entire show, masisisi pa ang Enca dahil nakisingit sila sa story ni VM. There was no difference between the sisters’ personalities with their “sang’gre counterparts” except for Kylie, and I kinda like the irony that Amihan was the most skilled among the four sang’gres when it comes to combat and her “mortal version” can’t even hurt a fly. There were some scenes wherein VM and Ami are becoming attached to each other which gained some new shippers and revived some fans who were rooting for them in Ilustrado (Remember when they played Gat Jose Rizal and Leonor Rivera?). Also, who wouldn’t want to see the sisters again right? ALL FOUR OF THEM. In addition to that, I just realized that the 2016 sang’gres just encountered THE ORIGINAL Hagorn (Pen Medina), pretty cool huh?
But why was I fuckin’ irritated?
Because they chose the four of them as guest celebrities just for the sake of it. I mean it was cool that Alden guested in Encantadia as the Mulawin Lakan, the thing is Lakan played a huge part in the story’s progress whilst the mortal edition sang’gres like I said were just thrown into the show just because. Their backstory wasn’t even that interesting (in short cliche af), but hey! What do you expect? They only got little time (my guess would be because the actresses’ availability since Gabbi has two upcoming shows and Sanya is working on a new soap with Rocco Nacino I guess?), which resulted to them having only a handful of episode in contrast to Alden’s appearance in Enca. Uh…I guess my other rant would be the fact that they are using Encantadia to boost another show’s ratings. I don’t mind a Mulawin-Encantadia crossover, but to turn the sang’gres into mortals just so they could be randomly thrown into the lore of Victor Magtanggol? Hm…not a fan.
I’m not mad that Encantadia didn’t open it’s magical portal to Midgard, it’s cool to see Glaiza, Kylie , Gabbi and Sanya together on Philippine TV but I’m kinda disappointed that they used the show’s name to boost VM’s rating. I would have appreciated it if they did not put the Sang’gres of Encantadia in that teaser and just put all four actresses as their regular selves instead, but props to the management, it was an effective strategy to attract people’s attention.
Don’t get me wrong guys, Alden is a great actor, a lot of people are hooked with VM so good for him, I just don’t watch this because I do have my own preferences when it comes to fantasy series. Anyhoo, it’s still nice to get a glimpse of VM’s world and the sang’gres mini reunion. I know a new season for Encantadia is far from happening rn, but I am crossing my fingers that it will happen at the right time and…I’ll be expecting to see Lakan again in the new season!
