The pan-fried banana is exploring his new digs!

This is very much an In Progress enclosure, but it had all the necessities met and Phineas has needed to move for a long time, so it’s plenty good for him to be in for now. His next door neighbor’s pothos is super overdue for a trim, so eventually I’ll root some of those cuttings and then add them in here. I want to get more curly woods and vines to interlock and make really intricate climbing spaces for him like Oort has since all my bps really enjoy them, but that will wait until i get more energy to set up Penelope I think.

Me and Diaba, I've had him the longest about 1 and half years I got him when he was a few months old. He's a sweet heart he had me freaked out during winter because he was refusing to eat but he's decided to be normal now. :)

these two are newer ones. she and her sister are graduating from medium rats to large rats now, along with their cousin. speaking of her little sister- this is her right here!

This is Eris! she's a Pastel Enchi morph ball python, so she's got much brighter yellows and a different pattern. She's a year younger than Ripley but she's already pretty much caught up in size- me n' my brother are thinking that she's gonna be one of the abnormally large ones

I don't seem to have too recent of photos of her- I'm gonna have to fix that...

Funny lil' fact- due to how bright her patterns are, they actually continue on her eyes lmao. the yellow and black patterns on her face are continued in her eyes as well XD Along with my two girls is also my brother's Ball python- a black pastel Bannana morph girl.

I found like, one image of her, and it is an old one lmao but ye thats the noodles. but also here- have bonus doggo ft. Cinder (my very airheaded pomeranian)

Donovan is home!

I had such an amazing day! I drove to a city about 2 hours away to pick up my new BP, who is almost a year old (and is seriously the chillest snake!). This photo does not do him justice, btw. He's SUPER bright yellow, though I saw his mom, who looks almost the same, and she has browned out a lot but still identifiably yellow. He is an Enchi Pastel Clown, and I am so in love with him already.

The breeder is a family operation, a dad an his teenagers, and they were so friendly and eager to show me their collection. I got to see a lot of truly amazing animals, including some really rare ball python morphs, as well as a snapping turtle, blood pythons, a Sulcata tortoise, a Burmese python, and a tegu! It was like so many of my dream reptiles, and I got to pet them and the whole time, Donovan chilling, being a very cool dude, exploring, and hanging out. This family has done a super job socializing their animals and they obviously care a lot for them. Most of their non-bps are rescues, and it was just nice to meet some local reptile people, because I'm so shy, it can be hard to meet like-minded people.

I honestly can't remember the last time I was at someone's house who isn't a relative, tbh. And reptiles aren't like dogs where you run into people walking the dog or at a dog park or something, you know?

Anyway, my family thinks I'm super weird that I like reptiles at all, or snakes especially, so it was very fun to meet other folks like me, and also to see all the adorable animals!

I'm having to type with one hand because of this silly critter, but I got a new ball python :D

I was told she's either an orange dream Enchi or pastel Enchi, but I'm not too worried about it because snake is snake to me and I love snake

I'm looking for a name for her that fits into the Godzilla/kaiju theme [I have a Ghidorah, Manda, Quetzalcoatl, and Anguirus already] or maybe a Jurassic Park themed name [My Iguana was named Blue after the JW raptor]

My personal favorite mirph for ball pythons is Pied Ball Pythons

This is a Super Orange Dream Enchi pied ball! It’s also 66% percent Het Ultramel Pied Ball Python and het hypo. the hypo gene is basically for white, but since it is ‘Het’, that means it will not show through in the snake itself and if yoh want to see that gene you have to breed that snake to either another het hypo ball python, OR a hypo ball python

The pied morph basically gets rid of splotches in the snakes pattern, thus making it Pied! it’s a beautiful morph and is literally my favorite morph for a ball python!

this is a Mahogany Black Pastel Paradox pied ball python, this has to be one of my favorite color morphs for the Pied morph! it’s so pretty and UGHHH i love it

Phineas just had his first meal in his new enclosure and is soaking up the heat on his perch! Feeding him in this enclosure may be a challenge, I had to grab a tray as a shield and swap doors because he tried to launch out after the rat on the first attempt to get it inside. All my snakes are very excited about food ;_;

He has some stuck shed around his jaw/neck from a shed right before he moved enclosures and it’s too close to his head for him to let me pull it off even after soaking, so hopefully after adjusting to his new enclosure it will scrape off, or come away with his next shed.

I went to Repticon with a friend and she said "I love squishy snakes" while we were looking at some chonky fancy morph breeding age snakes. This lady at a nearby booth sized up my funky haired, animal rescuing, kindergarten teacher friend in 0.2 seconds and asked "well would you like a squishy snake?" And so my friend went home with a rescue ball python who at full size was 2.5' long if that, and had such bad mouth rot as a juvenile he didn't have a tongue, but was still an absolutely gorgeous, chill, cuddly puppy enchi who apparently still eats better than most balls

Reptile morphs are wild man I’m on morphmarket browsing the pinstripe ball pythons to get an idea of what they usually cost and I’m seeing $680 pinstripe enchi pied het clowns and $1000 proven breeders. Your incredible genetic frankensteins will be wasted on me, I just want a simple pinstripe or cinnamon to perhaps sit on my lap while I play minecraft a couple days a week 😭
