Remaking this Éowyn after 10 years of cosplay was so gratifying! The trim is all hand embroidered and I’m so proud of how well I was able to dye the matelassé to match the corset suede 😍

Just a little ✨sneak peek✨ at the collar for Eowyn. OH. MY. GOODNESS. I am thrilled hahah. I had to burn away the support fabric on the lace. And yes I mean literally with a lighter (carefully) and then glued it to the fabric so that I could hand sew it on there before I put it all together.

This was easily the most difficult part of this project so far and I’m so happy it’s done. 🥹 I may have this completed before next week!!!

Instead of using metallic grommets we sewed by hand the holes!

Some of the details for the Éowyn armor I made for Denver Fan Expo. I forgot to post them here earlier, so here they are now! I will maybe post full photos of the cosplay later. All the leather is made of foam, and everything (yes, even the chainmail) was handcrafted by me. I was sooo excited to wear it and I think I looked pretty great if I do say so myself

The best part of making a dress? THE PRINCESS TWIRL

It just needs some final hemming at the sleeves and hem and the dress is done! I love how it turned out!
