Yeah, but I mean... there's a huge difference to what I think Dean's experienced and going to a sunny, sandy beach. Especially given what the inside of Dean's mind looks like in the promo for 14.10, you know?

When Sam and Cas go into his mind, where they land looks unsettlingly like the Empty, you know? It's blackness and just... empty. Meanwhile Dean's locked in this blue-tinged bar, unaware that there's anything wrong with this. Almost like he's underwater, in a dank little aquarium of Michael's construction. It's hard to tell, but it appears that when Sam and Cas show up there, finally find him in that dim little box in his mind, the lights brighten and turn warm again. Like they bring the sun in.

There's a huge difference between Dean's experience of drowning in his own mind, and going to the actual seashore with the wind in his hair and the sun on his face and the sounds of the waves hitting the sand.

The only problem now is that if they did find that happiness with the sun on their faces, Cas will be dragged off to the Empty, so it's still a problem... :P

And that's it for episode 3! I really like that we still can't tell who could win, as it changes every episode. Remember my first BC where we pretty much knew who "the one" is after the first episode?
