Australia is at least an unknown foe and it was only a small part of the Archipelago with a vested interest in expanding southward.

Imagine if some tiny faction in northern Siberia did an expedition into the arctic looking for "new trade routes" and they found a wormhole full of Cthulu monsters. Your first reaction wouldn't be "wow what losers, can't believe they lost to Cthulu", it'd be "Wait there are Cthulus on the other side of that ice?" You don't blame them for losing a war against dinosaur riding monster-tamers because honestly oh my goodness.

The war against Taiga was like 50x more embarrassing. The whole of the Archipelago had a vested interest in keeping planes out of the market to preserve the sea trade monopoly and Taiga was seen as a tiny outpost nation of rebels. This was more akin to the East India Trade Company-era British Empire going to war against a single tiny nation they didn't think much of and getting absolutely whooped.

I've been sick :<

I just wanted to share that i'm not gone. I just been sick so Daisy doesn't want me online much. Its super unfun being sick but Giovanni did give me his old switch so thats cool and been keeping me entertained. One of my favorite games (and the one i've been playing the most) is Disney Magical World 2! It has everything!! Alice in wonderland, Winnie the pooh, Stitch, The little mermaid worlds!! Lots of other disney characters! I don't have everything unlocked yet but its been super fun.

This is what i currently have my character in the game look like (I just named her Lorelai cause they let me use my name) - I thought it would be cool though to draw how i imagine my character to look like though since the hair options is alittle limited

Dragon Epithet Erased Fun Facts:

Each country from the original canon exists as a location within a flight in Sornieth. Taiga Country hugs the southside mountains of the Cloudscape Crags in the Southern Icefield (Redwood Run is in a valley by a road that goes North to the Snowsquall Tundra), Deepwood Country is on the east border of the Shrieking Wilds right by the Worldedge Wetlands, Desert Country is deep in the Abiding Boneyard, Island Country is an archipelago sandwiched between the Sea of a Thousand Currents and the Tangled Wood, and Australia is straight up just another word for the Shifting Expanse.

Ocean Country is NOT in the Sea Of a Thousand Currents as it once was.

The Fleecity family, consisted almost entirely of Pearlcatcher dragons, keeps the pearls cultivated by the Phoenicas of the past in the Hall of Phoenicas in their mansion. Every pearl is labeled with the name and visage (be it paintings or sculptures) of the Phoenicas they belonged to and have a corresponding plaque with an overview of their accomplishments. Those pearls are quite unique in their shapes and colours, something that cannot be said about the Phoenicas themselves.

When Crusher set off on the Search for his charge (as customary of every young Guardian dragon), it was a very heartfelt farewell. Giovanni was particularly devastated to part with one of his bois for who knows how long. He and the rest of the bois cried in a big cuddle pile for about 10 minutes, which was when Crusher casually walked back into the lair carrying a giant icicle on his back. He'd found his charge in record time. (The icicle is lovingly kept in an enchanted cold box in his private hoard)

Feenie's mother, Phoenica XIV (aka Tango), served directly under the Icewarden for a few years before Feenie was born, and was still known as a remarkable warrior before her tragic passing.

Trixie and Rex were born way after the Tidelord's disappearance, and thus had never had the experience of receiving an oracle before the events of the Unfathomable Odissey. Needless to say, that portent was quite the scare for the twins.

Mera's plumage is greyish in tone not naturally, but as a result of being a Coatl of frail health (she'd be a very bright purple otherwise!). In addition to that, her epithet also causes her feathers to be extremely brittle, which is why she is constantly molting as well. She cannot fly as a result and has Indus constantly carry her places.

Naven's forehead jewel is much more sensitive than the average Skydancer's. This is such an issue that he cannot stand to be in the presence of many dragons for long without getting fatigued or overwhelmed. For this and other reasons, he tries to keep it covered under his mop of overgrown neon green mane feathers.

No but seriously: you stated that Cadence didn’t have control over her epithet during the incident where her and Zora first met. On what level would you say she can control (if it’s at all changed) in the current day?

AND FAMILY STUFF, WHAT WAS HER CHILDHOOD LIKE I HAVE GOT TO KNOW!

Before the incident Cadence did have some sort of Control over her epithet, but due to overwhelming stress and the constant juggling of both college at the time and theatrics she eventually snapped.

After loosing control of her epithet during that incident, Cadence was captured and given a choice, either join bliss ocean and write the script of victory where epithets no longer exist or you can end up six feet under.

Cadence didn’t have much time to think but she knew that her epithet was too dangerous, a thought became more prominent that day, that thought being that “epithets are a danger to society”.

In that moment where she made that decision all she could think about was her cousin Mera and how much pain she is constantly in, and on-top of that, Cadence pictured all the people she must have trapped in her explosive loss of control during the days of the incident.

Cadence did take the job that day, and the bliss ocean (mostly Zora though) helped her gain more control over her epithet, Cadence does refrain from anything other than support though, she gets disgusted at the fact of controlling someone for to long.

Present time I believe that Cadence could create scenes of a maximum of 4 people, but if she wants to go all out she could do about 2 acts tops and then she reaches her limit. Battle wise Cadence focuses mainly on moving her target but not controlling them like puppets as she did the incident.

Family wise Mera and Cadence are cousins, Mara’s mother and Cadence’s father are twins, which is a reason why Thoth Cadence and Mera have very similar statures and features.

Cadence and her father are no longer on speaking terms, in all reality she is scared to speak to him again after the incident. Cadence’s father is still aware that Cadence is alive though, but he feels responsible for the incident, due to him being the one who wanted Cadence to get into theatrics.

Cadence’s Mother passed away when Cadence was young but Cadence doesn’t really remember her all that much, so she has no strong feelings towards her.

Cadence’s childhood was relatively normal, except for the fact of her being the only constant friendship in Mera’s life at the time. Both Mera and her eventually grew apart but they still care deeply for one another. Either than that things went downhill once Cadence graduated high school and went to College.

Leontios: He's from a westmarch server I'm in that uses the Anime Campaign system. He's part of the Yakuza counterpart in it and takes pleasure in causing pain. They don't have an epithet, but they do have a thing called a psi-chip that makes him super lucky

Dameda Evermore: I don't have much story wise for them, as I made their sheet right after Captain ishmael from Limbus Company came out, but I still like their design. Their epithet is certainty.

Sigurd and Brunhilde: These two are characters I'm really proud of cause they actually have lore!!! They have the epithets Revenge and Grudge, respectively. When they killed each other at the same time, their epithets activated an effect where they would be able to kill their killer before they died but because they activated at the same time they've become immortal, forever hating and killing eachother eternity.

Samit Bedi (Anime Campaign OC)

In case you don't know about Epithet Erased and Anime campaign, it's basically a setting where people can be born with abilities based on a word called an Epithet. It's up to training and imagination what kind of abilities that word could entail

Samit's Epithet is Coastal, so she can create waves out of thin air, coral spires, and sand. She uses these abilities to surf around on land, fight crime, and repair the coral reefs.

Samit dropped out of university to protest megacorperations dumping toxic waste into the ocean and advocate for woman's rights. She's part of the Clean Water Front (CWF) which is an organization that advocates the protection of the worlds oceans and lakes.

Here are some fun facts:

She enjoys surfing in the winter to raise awareness for shoreline cleanup

She volunteers at soup kitchen to help the less fortunate

Her favorite flavour of ice cream is licorice.

Belongs to a gardening club (to everyone's disdain, her plot was used to make a saltwater aquarium with different kinds of kelp)

Constantly visits the mayor to talk his ear off cause he is required by law to listen to her

Doesn't drive; skateboards everywhere (the city didn't like all of the saltwater flooding she was causing with her epithet to surf on land)
