Menzoberranzan is a boxed set accessory for AD&D 2nd edition.

“Ruled by the feared and respected Houses and their Matron Mothers, Menzoberranzan is a place of great nobility and great treachery. The priestesses of Lloth, the Spider Queen, demand (and receive) complete respect from the citizens of this mighty city. But what of the common folk—the drow of non-noble birth, the humans, and others? What is their lot in life, in this magnificent den of intrigue?”

Book One: The City gives the reader a tour of the streets and districts, a wealth of information on various practices and customs, and an overview of daily life for each class of citizen (and non-citizen).  Book Two: The Houses presents all eighteen major and minor Houses of the city, including the Matron Mothers and their immediate families, as well as any important advisers and associates. Four connecting poster-size maps of the city proper; one poster map of the House Baenre compound; a poster showing the rivalries and alliances among all eighteen major and minor houses

I do not have the Drizzt retrospective or the adventure book. This set of scans only includes the maps and posters, Book One: The City, and Book Two: The Houses. This set was released by TSR, Inc. in December, 1992 during the 2nd edition, Advanced DnD era of Dungeons & Dragons, so certain specifics have changed or been re-written to adapt to new editions. thinking about the Eras Tour poster again and how one of the biggest factors in Taylor's graphic design appears to be the desire to create a design that will be easy to recreate for the average internet user. We have seen the Eras design be used in city merch and stuff, and in fan edits of other fandoms. The same goes for the Midnights album cover: the style is so easy to emulate that it can be memed to death. Which creates attention and makes the cover memorable.

The Style Evolution of JT: From Federal Prison to City Cinderella ✨

As one half of the rap duo the City Girls, rapper JT’s fashion was not a main talking point in her career. Now, as an emerging solo artist, JT arguably has some of the best fashion in the entire music industry. From working with brands such as Poster Girl and Mowalola, it’s clear that JT is the perfect fashion icon for the girls that get it.

At the beginning of her career, (2017 ish) JT wore almost exclusively designer brands, reminiscent of someone who just came into a large sum of money. She was dripped out in Dolce and Gabbana, Chrome Hearts, and Moschino - all brands popular for their very large price tags. But as the old saying goes: Just because you have money, doesn’t mean you can dress. To be clear, JT had money AND was into fashion before starting her rap career (she stated in an interview she was able to buy herself a Classic Chanel bag before the fame). In my opinion, her industry connections after she signed to record label Quality Control helped her focus not so much on wearing expensive clothes. Instead, seasoned stylists and designers helped her craft her own unique aesthetic, while focusing on pieces that accentuate her silhouette and new tax bracket.

JT made her daring new style debut at the 2023 MTV VMA’s, sporting a pink, Mirror Palais ss24 gown and matching Marc Jacobs boots. This look (one of my favorites) was a turning point in her fashion career. It showed that she was more in tune with the fashion world. By wearing a lesser known designer, her affinity for big label brand flashiness was over. Now, I viewed her as a true fashion girlie, by sourcing and styling runway and archival pieces. Her unique style, which incorporates the “coquette” aesthetic, features latex pieces, corsets, platforms shoes, choker necklaces, and dainty bows. It is a style distinct to her, and not many could pull it off without looking crazy.

JT is on her way to becoming a fashion icon. Her outfits are always daring, meticulous, and true to her, which is the most important thing in fashion. She often collaborates with female designers and doesn’t care if you like what she’s wearing or not. In an iconic line from her song No Barz, she brags about being a “Hood bitch dressed like a weirdo”, to which I must agree. JT is a “weirdo” in the best way possible. Her unique fashion sense and dedication to it is refreshing and inspiring for girls that look like her and myself. JT is currently doing a club run tour in the United States, while steadily building a strong, supportive fan base. I am very excited to see all the iconic looks to come in this new era of her career!

This is me- literally crying and shaking immediately after I secured my tickets for TWO NIGHTS of The Eras Tour at Tokyo, Japan.

while you're here, here’s a mini trip down the memory lane about my life being a swiftie for more than a decade now

years back, it would take me a loooong time to save up my allowance just to buy Taylor's merch (that I would oftentimes skip lunch just to buy her latest CDs). my happiness back then would be above the roof already just by collecting her albums.

2013: Red Tour- I was in my garbage collector era with my brother because we would literally wander the streets and search the trash bins around the city just to collect these ice cream lids, in a desperate attempt to get tickets for Red Tour Manila (but I was unfortunate enough lol).

I DON’T EVEN KNOW HOW TO PROCESS THE FACT THAT I’LL BE SOON REACHING MY LONG-TIME DREAM OF GOING TO ONE OF TAYLOR'S SHOWS. This thought alone makes me so emotional that my heart is overflowing with joy & excitement.

the flashbacks of my grade school and high school days wherein I literally spend all night writing lyrics on my notebooks or print them on bondpapers and download songs one by one just so I could memorize every track from Taylor’s albums. …and all of these posters from which I bought on the sidewalks (since official merch was really expensive) with my very meager allowance 😭

this was when I watched the premier of The Eras Tour Film at the cinemas. still couldn't believe that what I magically experienced just by looking on the big screen this night will be recreated right in front of my eyes. the younger version of Rojen would literally be screaming and jumping and endlessly crying if you’d tell her that she’ll be seeing Taylor Swift one day 😭😭😭😭😭

I just wanna let you know that this really means the whole world to me, Tay.

also again it's really funny that.

my thought process: oh yeah a wednesday IS a weird day to end a tour she probably did want that specific date of 8/9. that + it makes logical sense to announce + release an album before you start your next leg of touring. plus the fact that there's only one song from that album she hasn't performed. she's teed it up pretty perfectly for an announcement. i'm pretty sure it'll get announced unless she's the stupidest person in the world. which she's not when it's about money. but you never know.

all the tweets i saw: Ok so it's been 8 years 9 months and 13 days and we ALL know 13 is her favorite number. and if you add up the numbers of shows + cities in the latest taylornation tweet it also comes out to 89 + 13. above and beyond that in her music video she said exile ends in 2 days and she played exile as a surpirse song 2 days ago which means she HAS to announce it. and if you look at the eras tour poster the only colors that touch her are those for speak now (already released) and 1989 (her next release). and in another music video she lists all her album that are being re recorded on a wall and you'd THINK it's going clockwise but it's actually an infinity sign becuase ts is forever and if we go by infinity sign then 1989 is next. Also there have been a suspicious number of 1989 lyrics dropped casually in taylornation tweets and i dont think these are regular references i think these are meant to tell us that 1989 is next and SOON. amd haim has been recording tiktoks with 1989 songs and the stadium has been promo-ing the tour with 1989 themes it's literally so obvious

Hi Celery! ILY!

So, I am a massive fan of the horror genre. I've collected a ton of trinkets over the last few years dedicated to my fanaticism. I'll do a mini tour of descriptions for ya:

In front of me, I have posters for Hereditary (2018), Scream (1996), The Cabin in the Woods (2011), and Carrie (1976).

Next to that, I have a Raccoon City sign (Resident Evil) and a Necronomicon Ex-Mortis sign (Evil Dead).

I have a beloved row dedicated to my trinkets on my bookshelf. This includes my 3D-printed Lament Configuration (Hellraiser), a homemade depiction of the camera from the old Japanese video game series Fatal Frame, the keys from Resident Evil 2, a Pyramid Head plushie, the hotel room keys from Silent Hill 2, the stick figure from Blair Witch Project, and VHS tape from the Ring.

Also, there lies my extensive retro horror video game collection that has taken me years to curate. Many older horror games (circa PS1 and PS2 era) have become more difficult to find. I had to actively hunt to obtain most of them. The only ones I still need for sure now are the ones that run $700+ or more. Some proof under the cut!
