tragically i dont have any real refs or real descriptions for the cast so far, the best i've got is vibes and a picture of eridanus i posted recently. i will transmit the vibes, however!

nebula: hes got the orbiting star ocourse, and his big fluffy cloak. when i think of what kind of clothes he wears i think like. poet's blouse. black trousers. that kinda thing. maybe a crown? i do not know. hes very sad looking. wet cat of a man

binary: dull colors definitely! also just. librarian core. i really dont have much else for vibes its just "binary :3" in my head

rust: pretty close to bloodmoon v1 tbh, though with more practical clothing? since they go hunting and stuff. the hat stays on at all times however. kinda gives 2-tailed hat vibes tho. can work without. vampire fangies are essential

eridanus: she is BIG she is GLOWY she is DARK she is SPOOKY. she doesnt wear CLOTHES because theyre UNCOMFORTABLE. i refer to the pic ive posted of her for colors and things. orange stripes and underbelly, black scales, red eyes. out of water her fins are floppy and shes cute and i love her. her picture is in her tag if that helps searching for it btw

bird boy lunar: oh man ive got a Vision for him. a Vision. he's more based off of lunar's first proper design, the lil guy ya know? but also still not? idk. anyway most essential things are that hes birdy! bird legs, his arms are wings but on the wrist joint he has lil graspers. think bat for that part. he may or may not have tail feathers dont ask me i dont know things. hes like a species of insect to me.

With everything that's happened, have you become the last person born on/from eridanus ii?

No. There were a lot of kids born after me, and Eridanus II got off light as far as glassings go. Covenant wasn't thorough with it. There's a lot of intact surface.

Resettling effort was supposed to be going well, before the Created. Now, I don't know.

post-lightfall existential crisis anyone? some thoughts below the cut!

everyone: *making heroic sacrifices*

Ceph (tired, constantly under pressure, relied upon to be dependable + always get the job done, immortal but no one ever asks if he's Okay, can't complain because he's immortal):  "what if I just...stop"

At first I thought "it's sad that cloudstriders only live for 10 years after augmentation", but that's a quantifiable time to serve. You know how long you've got. To be a guardian is to live that servitude so many more times (unless you die an early final death) unless you decide not to or quit.  But even if you decide not to be a “guardian” or quit, you still live a long time :I  You still have to watch people around you die. You can't really engage with normal people without that pain.  Non-lightbearers are still envious of you and treat their short lives as a disadvantage. Anyway with the events of lightfall I think ceph would naturally reach the breaking point of jadedness with the burden he’s been carrying. I went down this rabbit hole thinking of my other guardian Eridanus, who is a lightbearer who isn’t a guardian and has no interest in being one (yet suffers from the deeply-buried guilt/resentment of being rezzed against his wll)

He always wants to look good and pretty, absolute eye candy of the group if he wanted.

So here's all the reference pictures I've done for him and his changes which mostly consisted of outfits hehe from a potential level 20 oneshot ref to his very first reference all taken within the span of 2 1/2 years.

Two whole years of playing him in a campaign was an incredible and enjoyable experience with my friends. And it was actually my very first DND campaign that got completed!

I think, I learned a lot in drawing bodies especially all the drastic changes a Changling can do in DND, but in the end I learnt how to draw boobies so I call that win through and through.

But all in all, Ko holds a special place in my heart and I'm happy to look back on my art on him and to see how much I've improved since drawing him.
