La Lonja de la Seda de Valencia o Lonja de los Mercaderes (en valenciano: Llotja de la Seda o Llotja de Mercaders), ubicada en el centro histórico de la ciudad, en la plaza del Mercado, frente a la Iglesia de los Santos Juanes y del Mercado Central de Valencia, es considerada una obra maestra del gótico civil valenciano, con serios recubrimientos barrocos, que la hacen única, y por ello Patrimonio de la Humanidad por la Unesco, desde 1996. Punto de encuentro de mercaderes y comerciantes para tratar sus asuntos, hoy en día es un monumento, museo y centro de actividades especiales de la comunidad. El nombre que recibe el edificio de Lonja de la Seda deriva del hecho que el tejido de seda era desde el siglo xiv al siglo xviii la industria más potente de la ciudad. ... Saint Stephen church in Bordils, Comarques Gironines, Catalonia.

The church was built in the second half of the 16th century. As it says on top of the entrance door, the church was started to build on the 14th of September 1561 ("vvy que contam X4 del mes de setembre del any 1561 se comensá la esglesia parrochial"). It's built in Gothic style with influences from the Renaissance.

Pintura del artista pintor Ernest Descals sobre papel de 50 x 70 centímetros, pintando los lugares históricos y los paisajes de la Comarca de La Segarra, Lleida, Catalunya.

Al lado del Mercado Central de Valencia se encuentra la iglesia de San Juan del Mercado, cuyo nombre formal es Real Parroquia de los Santos Juanes, una imponente obra arquitectónica, cuyo origen es una antigua ermita levantada antes de 1240 sobre una anterior mezquita. De origen gótico valenciano, fue reconstruida en los siglos XIV y XVI a causa de dos voraces incendios, y es en el siglo XVII y comienzos del siglo XVIII cuando finalmente adquiere su aspecto definitivo, con una marcada fisonomía barroca. Destaca por su impresionante fachada, coronada con un campanil, con las estatuas de San Vicente Mártir, San Vicente Ferrer y San Lorenzo Mártir, en el centro sobre una pirámide con una esfera descansa un águila, con un tintero en el pico simbolizando al Evangelista que hace las veces de veleta y es conocida como el “Pardalot de Sant Joan” (El pájaro de San Juan). Está catalogada como Monumento Histórico Artístico Nacional desde el 21 de febrero de 1947. ...
