Okay, I realized something somewhat cursed but in advance, no hate to anyone that likes this ship tho. Because if anything, the ending taught me is that possibility is endless and somewhere out there, there is someone that likes this ship. Since the ending of Dragalia had Euden as a stranger to Zethia, that leaves a chance of them getting married together in their future. I don't like this possibility ever happening at all, but it is what it is and the possibility they all fought for-

Another Stealth Edit in Dragalia Lost!
So, as I unfortunately cannot find the vocal lines for, Leonidas was known in his Gala to have a vocalized line that said the name 'Euden' whereas before Dragalia went to hell and back to obscure any mention of his name despite the obvious fact that it is his name. Whether it was with "Your/His Highness" "Prince" "Turkey" or "Brother", they were quite creative in monikers to avoid saying Euden.
They, predictably, changed it incredibly fast to 'my brother', but the original line, was, if I recall, something like "Whatever awaits in North Grastea, I am certain Euden will find his way to the truth of things". They just substituted 'my brother' for Euden and then voila! No more 'Euden' vocalized.
But oh, I remember.
I, however, just happened to notice another stealth edit today, though, that they did similarly quietly.
Where? The Blood that Binds, you know, the story where most the fam teams up to kick the Replica(-aaaaaaaaaa!) Alberius' butt?
It's in the second part of the story, where not!Alberius nearly murders everyone before they're saved by Euden and Zethia finally arriving to provide some much-needed reinforcement as Euden goes toe-to-toe with Alberius as Zethia heals.
Tumblr media
When the twins show up, however, Alberius comments this, per the wiki:
Tumblr media
Indeed, I found this line captured in several videos of people recording the event as an archive.
However, others (and I do mean plural, this isn't just one person), instead recorded a different line Alberius says at this exact interval!
The line in question?
Tumblr media
Now, when I first saw this, I thought maybe that this was the original line and that they changed it just to again keep any mention of the Forbidden out of Dragalia and appease the great Nintendo on high. The former feels a bit more awkward, even if one can still kinda see the air of 'ugh, how many more can there be?' attitude to the sheer number of descendants trying to fight him. To me, I honestly thought it would be the changed, the hurriedly slapped-in edit as ordered to keep Dragalia that much Purer.
But when I looked at the dates of these uploads, I found something curious. Those that had the first line where actually updated earlier than the ones with the later line. Unless several people all got their recordings earlier than the others but then somehow chose to wait a week-month to upload their clips, the second line is the edited version!
Which means that the Dragalia translation team slipped in a comment from Alberius' replica expressing the sentiment of, 'damn that dude had a lot of sex'. Color me surprised!
What's funnier is the implications, because this replica knows Alberius' memories. He's the most capable person 'alive' in any sense to be fully capable of commenting truthfully as to what Alberius got up to, even if it is through his own lens corrupted by the Progenitor.
However, it's also a bit of a logical fail. The replica also knows Alberius lived 300 years ago, and yet seems surprised and annoyed with how many descendants there are. Even if Alberius only had one kid, 300 years is more than enough time for the blood to multiply into the size of the family there is today. Additionally, Alberius himself seems to intend to have multiple children:
Tumblr media
...And yet he's personally attributing the fact that there are 7 heirs in front of him to Alberius. Perhaps he thought he woke up to a world as if Alberius were Genghis Khan, bloodline incredibly far-reaching where it seems you can't throw a stick without hitting one of his descendants?
To that, I'd like to just claim the comment's because of the potentially lacking knowledge of this replica. Sure, he may know how to fight, Alberius' life, all that, but that doesn't necessarily mean he has the best grasp on how quickly natural reproduction in humans can boom a single bloodline's number. A silly little goof much as the dragons make goofs regarding human lives and their qualities, like Zodiark failing to realize that humans cannot fit in a chamberpot or that they do not eat raw meat. I still wonder what drove the translators, though, to make that change.
Whatever might have driven that comment, though, that doesn't change the fact that the replica of Alberius flat-out said that his original was, ah, busy, which was not the new lore I had intended being able to be found in Dragalia!
That just leaves the question as to whom, since Dragalia also had a severe allergy from discussing any of the queens in Alberia's history. Myriam, of course, died alone before Alberius ever created a kingdom. The only other character of note in Alberius' vague shipping world is Midgardsormr, as long-joked about in the fandom from both comics and stories, but he doesn't exactly complete the apparently-full love story either, with Alberius having at least one descendant. It's too bad, since the only other note of relevance about the subject at all is Midgardsormr expressing severe doubts of his dating prowess:
Tumblr media
...Did Midgardsormr end up being a wingman to Alberius? If so, what did that look like?
"Hey, how are you doing?" (cue massive, revered dragon landing behind him)
"Why are you running, aren't dragons cool???!"
Listen, I've just opened up a whole can of worms unintentionally here, because somehow Dragalia decided to say of all things that Alberius had a storied love life, shall we say.
I wonder how many other little changes the devs might have made over the years, if they're willing to tweak things like this. Does anyone know anything else about little stealth changes the team tried to sneak in without anyone noticing?

hey i know your blorbo is euden but can I get a bit of zena analysis? I think she's interesting and I think with your knowledge of Euden you'd be great at getting a read on her?
this is so fucking late but absolutely.
i can’t claim to be the zena expert here but i think it’s crazy you know. iirc that she went to different worlds and all of them fell at the hands of the other (holy shit man. i also did not expect CHROM’S adventurer story out of all stories to be important to zena????) and like it’s not her fault because it’s the other but she has to carry what morsayati did in HER body.. shes just trying to help every time but people are understandably scared of her and i dunno. i think it scares her too. just a lil. she doesnt have to really, not her fault. but she keeps on to atone for what happened. she knows that her body was an instrument in the dyrenell empire and probably blames herself lots for it, but also is baffled she was let free. like why shes still alive. but her euden took her place and.. well..
i dont remember that well. then her protectiveness over our euden just kinda fucking gets me. i dont know how to explain it. but also her being firm with him and that he should trust in zethia more or something (because she is also zethia and understands, and euden is kinda too focused on defending zethia that it almost becomes like an immovable objective and can’t let her make her own decisions) and trust in himself too because hes losing his footing or whatever and being kinda stupid at times. and that while a zethia she is different from zethia in ways i cannot fucking describe. i dont know how to explain it but like after everything shes seen too. then the chapter where you have to kill her euden it’s just. scary. i cant imagine how it feels learning your brother your best friend was in on the plan of the destruction of the world the entire time or something. im sick. im not going to chalk it up to resistance i think it’s her immense hope that things can be changed and not even for her world’s benefit it’s so. i dunno. yeah. that zena keeps going on despite it all
this is so repetitive but hahaha just like how many worlds zena went to 😭😭

Euden & Midgardsormr
Pit: Lady Palutena, am I seeing things, or does that guy have a dragon?! Palutena: That's Euden, Pit, and the dragon beside him is Midgardsormr! He's the twin brother of Princess Zethia, and seventh in line for the Alberian throne. Pit: A prince and a dragon, fighting side-by-side... You don't see that in fairy tales! Viridi: Those Alberians... The royal family can shapeshift into dragons by making "pacts" with dragons, and borrowing their power. I don't like it one bit! Pit: Seriously?! Palutena: Well, luckily for you, Pit, if Euden uses his Dragon Pact too early, instead of summoning Midgardsormr, he'll just throw a bunch of crystals everywhere. Try to fluster him, and you won't get blown around.
Aisya
Pit: Um, Lady Palutena? Did... I just see a ghost? Viridi: This power... The amount of heat energy, contained in that armlet... Palutena: That's the princess and sole survivor of the kingdom of Millinear, Aisya. Well, she's technically queen, but her coronation was interrupted by a Salamander burning her entire kingdom and everyone in it to ash. Viridi: HA! ...Wait, that's actually horrifying. No animals were left?! Pit: THAT'S what's horrifying to you?! Palutena: Well, it's a good thing you pointed out that armlet, Viridi, because the Millinear Armlet has the power to raise the dead! ...In bodies composed entirely of ash, of course. Pit: So, uh. She's- She's summoning, um... Z-Zombies? Viridi: That could be a useful skill... But I doubt I could find any use for it. Palutena: Well, she certainly is. Pit, I know you may be focused on her ability to call forth Bullnequ, but her Aqua Shot and Aqua Slash shouldn't be discounted either! Attacking from a distance should work. Pit: R-Right!

Okay but the new Dragalia Life comic implies that Leonidas learned to make curry from his dad, or maybe because of his dad, and that’s really humanizing for him. That his iconic (and likely favorite, if going by the Stranded Scions event where he was pissed that he missed Chelle’s curry) dish is a connection between him and Aurelius is... surprisingly sentimental for him. Sure, we saw a softer side to Leonidas in the aforementioned Stranded Scions event, and even hints of it in the main story after his...redemption? After becoming less of an asshole. In how he explicitly and non-derisively refers to Euden as family now at least :) But back to the curry.
I don’t know what’s a more striking image. A little Leonidas in the kitchen with Aurelius as father teaches son his new recipes, before work and crises piled up. A simpler time that Leonidas can remember each time he cooks the dish; he remembers his fathers voice telling him how to chop vegetables properly, and insisting that spice measurements are something you feel in your soul rather than something rigid. He’ll never forget the smile on Aurelius’s face when Leonidas made his curry “just right” for the first time.
Or maybe it’s a little Leonidas, chasing the curry recipe his father made when he was still young, when they still had time to bond together, when things were a little bit easier. Aurelius changed, after... something happened when his youngest brother was born, and he left to the North to find a solution. It’s hard to notice, because Aurelius tries so hard to continue being the same goofy, loving father Leonidas grew up with. And it’s true that Aurelius’s change isn’t very noticeable— when the man is around, which is becoming less and less. He’s busy, as a king should be. And Leonidas, as the eldest son and heir to the throne, is very much not upset that his father is spending less time with him. He must be a model prince, and a model prince does not whine after his father’s affections.
Still, he sets to recreating that childhood curry recipe with the same fervor he puts into battle tactics. It’s something he does only in his spare time— something he has increasingly less of. It doesn’t help that in each batch, there’s something missing. His men eat it eagerly anyway, praise Leonidas’s skill; it’s only natural that the first scion is good at this, too. But, to someone who remembers something else, something better, something warmer in a way that has nothing to do with the food’s temperature and the spices used... it’s hollow.
Leonidas only ever gets to share his curry with his father once, towards the end of things. Aurelius feigns hurt that his son never offered him a bowl of his “famous” curry; he was something of a curry master in his day, after all! Leonidas doesn’t say that it’s because he feels as if his curry never matched up to his father’s. Still, he serves him a bowl, because what else could he do?
Aurelius’s wide smile and genuine praise for his son’s curry stick in his mind, after that. Leonidas does not react with much visible emotion, thanking Aurelius for his words. Internally, though? He’s warm in a way he hasn’t felt since he was a child.
Even though Aurelius asks to try Leonidas’s curry again, the opportunity never arises. Euden goes off to make his pact with the Windwyrm, and things spiral out of control quickly from there. Before Leonidas knows it, his father is possessed and then dead in short order.
But, as he looks after the Halidom in the seventh scion’s absence during the debacle in the North... Zodiark often comes by when he smells Leonidas making curry. The two don’t speak, but Leonidas always leaves him a bowl.

Nedrick: Why don't you set him straight and tell him who your REAL brother is.
Zethia, pointing to Euden: That one.
Nedrick: ...What.
Zethia: Yeah, I don't know who you are. Some kind of demon-clone-thing probably.
Nedrick: But I--
Zethia: Beating up on my poor brother, like some kind of demon!
Euden: Yeah, show us your true form, demon!
Zethia: Yeah, show us!
Zethia/Euden: SHOW US! SHOW US! SHOW US!

Things I learned in world flipper today :
- Azel lost his little brother to a dragon. That made me sad.
- Clyde's shield is the one being rude. I love rude haunted weapons. Give me more.
- Gerard is Don Quijote but with a fancy armor and not an asshole.
- Grams is female. Mommy dragon.
- All the characters are either neurodiverse, queer or non-human. You know I am right.
- Ark is adorable. I want a DL crossover so he can meet Euden and they become friends.
- Marina is one of the two 5* I want. The other one is Leon.

Caged Desire & Emile
I don’t know about you guys, but I’m enjoying the HELL out of this event. Not because I’m a Persona fan (never played a single game), but because it addresses Emile and his biggest character flaw: cripplingly low self-esteem.
Let’s chat.
First off, anyone who follows my more shitposty blog (@incorrectdragalialost) likely knows at this point that I have a soft spot for the sixth scion. I also have a habit of giving him quotes that play up his shitty nature. Emile, the black sheep of the royal family, seems to be a character that is universally despised both in and out of universe. And you know what? I agree! He’s a pretty shitty and terrible person, and I don’t think that Euden should be giving him so many chances. I don’t think he deserves them.
I DO, however, think he deserves a redemption arc, and I think it needs to start with him. Let me explain:
Emile is a very insecure character with cripplingly-low self esteem, and he’s desperate to be seen as equal to his larger-than-life older siblings, who all seem leagues ahead of him. That’s what it comes down to, really: he wants respect, and everywhere he turns he just finds people using him for his royal status or manipulating him towards failure. Hell, Chapter 11 had Chelle tricking him into turning on Laxi and Mascula, and it wasn’t even hard. All she had to do was tell him that they possessed an absurd amount of power. Emile, who feels powerless and useless on his own, jumps at any chance to get more powerful, and it bit him in the ass in the end.
Later, in 14′s interludes, we see Emile trying to garner a reputation the only way he knows how: through showy acts of bluster. Not only does it not work, we see another reason for Emile’s desperate attempts for respect: the common people don’t even know his name.
Tumblr media
We can actually see the start of his hero worship in Memories of Youth, where he tries sparring with Leonidas but simply isn’t good enough, and then watches Leonidas and Valyx duke it out as rough equals.
We can ALSO see the start of his superiority complex in His Clever Brother, where Euden clearly idolizes his older brother. Emile basks in finally being relied on for something... and then, of course, Chapters 2 and 4 happen and Emile gets fucked both times. He earns it, sure. But at the end of Chapter 4, Euden says this:
Tumblr media
That one line shows that Euden has a lot more insight than he’s let onto at this point. He knows Emile wants to be special. He knows Emile wants his own specialty. ALL of the other Alberian siblings are known for something: Leonidas has his valor, Phares his wisdom, Chelle her espionage, and Valyx his might. (Beren doesn’t count. Nobody knew he existed.) And now Euden gets recognized by these siblings that Emile has been trying so hard to catch up to and he doesn’t. And Zethia? Zethia’s the fucking Auspex! She has holy powers, she prays to the Goddess! Every SINGLE one of Emile’s siblings is better than him in some respect. As a younger sibling myself, I get it. It’s HARD to watch someone else get all this praise while you get nothing.
Now, here’s where Emile has all his siblings wrong: he thinks they all got their specialties effortlessly. That couldn’t be farther from the truth, and as an example, we can look at Euden’s journey thus far. He’s worked VERY hard to get to where he is now--and he has GUTS. It takes brass balls to declare yourself a new kingdom within another kingdom’s territory, not to mention defending and expanding his borders. He didn’t suddenly get that magic touch overnight; he grew his ranks and gathered his warriors, and he trains every day to get better. He has companions by his side to support him, and he supports them in turn.
Emile, though? Emile just... stops when it gets hard. He thinks that he should pick up something perfectly the first time, so if he’s bad at something? He gives up. Sort of in a gifted-child burnout kind of way, but without the gifted part. He doesn’t recognize the amount of hard work that goes into developing skills like that--he thinks they should be as inherent as his own dragonblood. He’s got it all wrong; nobody starts out as a prodigy. You decide you want to master something, and you work at it. And if you’ve grown up with a silver spoon all your life...
So yes. Emile? Terrible person. Treats his allies and enemies like trash. MASSIVE superiority-inferiority complex that feeds into itself and decreases his self-worth while increasing his ego at the same time. He needs a fucking wake-up call--what’s more, he needs someone he respects to tell him that he matters. I hope it happens sooner rather than later, because I’d love to see how his reformation arc goes. He shouldn’t be instantly forgiven, and he should fucking WORK for his respect. Even if Euden’s memories of the past are clouded by nostalgia, the guy has a knack for seeing the light in anybody’s heart, and I hope that he’s right on this count.

I think there's an interesting slight shift in Leonidas' attitude between chapters 8 and 12, and one that kinda makes a bit more complete narrative between the more obvious 12-16 jump.
First, in a niche Dragalia trivia, Leonidas (and Chelle) in his technical ch.7 debut says this:
"And so Aurelius's brilliant star falls as a new and dark star rises—as well as another dim light at the periphery. But the flames of battle will not reach Valkaheim. Should any fool approach, it is they who will be reduced to ash."
While there's a lot to say with later context in these lines despite their initial ambiguity of his character, note here of the 'dim light' refers to Euden. He's starting to cause a fuss in the world after ch.6's shakeup in the official rebellion and new kingdom-starting he's engaging in, but to Leo, this is all mostly meaningless compared to the true power players.
Ch.8 Leo, though, comes out swinging with his general attitude regarding the world and his family:
Tumblr media
There's something funny that he's aware enough of Euden starting his own kingdom, but still seeing him and going 'nope, I care not a whit about you, grain of dust' is amusing. Maybe after Valyx, Leonidas just got tired of having baby siblings?
Regardless, Leonidas mostly spends this chapter leaving them to presumably die bad deaths, having deemed them too weak and unimportant to even bother attending to personally.
But even within chapter 8, as Euden and co refuse to die and keep up their dogged pursuit, Leonidas starts to acknowledge Euden as a brother. Not enough to stop him from trying to leave him to get torn apart by beasts, of course, but, y'know, baby steps for someone who was denying kinship not a day ago.
Tumblr media
He also continues his star metaphor.
Tumblr media
For Leonidas, who viewed himself as the absolute pinnacle of the family, it was surprising anyone could survive him, however narrowly. He's being forced to consider that perhaps those beneath him in the family aren't quite as useless as perceived. Heck, Euden's 'reputation' overall in the family before canon seemed to be largely one of weakness, -even Valyx outright claims he thought him feeble, and Emile's earlier fondness of him stemmed from being 'better' than Euden. That's how Euden framed himself, to appear non-threatening to attempt to maintain harmonious relations so his elders didn't see an upstart threatening their power, as I've went over a long long time ago.
Now he's being forced to consider and wonder how high, how powerful Euden's dim star can rise before it will be crushed by someone or something greater in his 'one star' viewpoint.
Enter chapter 12. One of the things that makes Leonidas so dangerous, I've also said, is his adaptability. He learns and changes behavior.
And in this chapter, he takes a much more personally involved attack, sending in his 'big guns' (before he acquired a real one) in much quicker. He now views Euden as a threat enough to warrant the measures, even if he doesn't believe in his capacity to win.
Tumblr media
Moreover, he's starting to oddly (at least, to me?) stress a quick death for Euden and his group, whereas before, it was of absolutely no concern to him whether they died slowly and agonizingly from Mars' burns to getting torn apart by fiends. It comes across to me as a sort of recognition of Euden's ability and/or bravery, a sort of respect for him as a warrior enough to not prolong his death or otherwise make it painful.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
He's also starting to actually communicate on some level what his true goals are and why, whereas ch.8 Leo largely seems to think even that level of communication would be wasted on such 'insects'. And while he doesn't entertain Euden's counterarguments for long, it might indicate a sort of acknowledgement of Euden as a opponent to lock ideals with instead of a simple obstacle to hurdle mindlessly?
All in all, it reads to me as if he's made the shift of viewing Euden as an insect to an opponent, a weaker opponent, of course, but one nonetheless. Able enough to be acknowledged as being kin, even as he's seems like he's trying to distance himself when preparing to kill him.
Tumblr media
This trend continues immediately after the tables are turned. Leonidas acknowledges Euden as brother and king, and is more upset at the notion that Euden doesn't want to kill him since he likely thinks that now Euden sees him as the 'able to be safely ignored weakling' as well as wanting to die of shame.
Tumblr media
Continuing into ch.13, Leonidas immediately then protects Euden from Phares, even incorporating a new word into his vocabulary in the process!
Tumblr media
Then, of course, is his and Chelle's conversation to further bridge the gap, in which he starts establishing Euden has earned a more complete respect as kin now despite not actually sharing a true lineage, and respect enough to ask another sibling to protect him.
Tumblr media
So yeah. Even if ideally I do think some more dialogue would help to bridge the gap between before-16-Leonidas and after-16-Leonidas, I do think that they overall tried to make a cohesive progression even in the 8-12 shift from 'insect' to 'opponent I can somewhat respect' to 14-16's more complete respect. Alas, since the writing team only had so many story sections they could have and a lot of characters and plotlines to juggle, they could only spend a bit of time re. Leonidas, but for what it's worth they did a decent job with what they had.
Extra aside: I find it funny Leonidas was the first to 'exit' the main campaign. He features in 8, 12, and 16, with smaller appearances in 7, 10, etc, but after 16 he's effectively poofed even if he's still influential in the plot. Even Valyx lasted longer for on screen chapters since he was tagging along with Nedrick and Zethia, before he and most all siblings exited at ch.23 to then die in ch.25 (this is why leaving the protagonist's party isn't a good idea Chelle-)

Euden Dragalia Lost!!
I don't know where to start because I do like being asked specific questions. But. I am skilled. At rambling with no aim. Here we go
euden is my friend he likes cute dragons and he plays the piano and hes been practicing string instruments over the course of the game. his base form tells us he "sounds like hes strangling a cat" but now in his latest alt he says hes gotten really good and wants to put on a concert at some point. he enjoys parties what with the events every two months. hes a normal guy. hes very accepting and when there is a problem, rather than moving to change the person he tries to be accepting of them. he has the fucking weight of the world on his shoulders but hes still so kind. someone get this man a sense of self-preservation. he has a sort of deadpan sassy humor. hes a fucking idiot. hes smart. hes everything. hes nothing. i cant list it all here he is just so important to me.
below readmore is kind of like a dragalia plot synopsis i just kept on typing 💀💀💀 writing this after i finished that i think ive been writing for 2 hours
(written after the readmore: yeah im all talked out for this post but if you have questions i will answer. i want to answer, especially specific questions. it doesnt have to be about euden you can ask me about my other blorbos! )
Euden is the 7th child of Aurelius, the king of Sol Alberia. He is 17 at the beginning of story (about 20 by now since the game's new year events are canonical), and he has a twin sister named Zethia. He is just a regular kind guy. Yknow standard protagonist stuff. This is likely due to him being the self-insert character, what with his name being the player's username. But more on that later.
The Alberian Royalty have dragonblood, meaning they can form pacts with dragons in order to shapeshift into them. You can't succeed the throne if you can't get a pact and shapeshift.
Now Euden over here, he has no interest in the throne. He just wants to enjoy life with his twin sibling and their faerie friend Notte, who they met at childhood. In fact, he's been actively avoiding the Dragon Choosing, so that he wouldn't be in line for the throne and create conflict between him and his siblings.
But unfortunately some shit goes down and the sacred shard (they keep fiends away) in Sol Alberia is weakening, so Euden is tasked to go and get the one from the Mistholt (an old castle in rovetelle forest that was used as the base of the founder king Alberius). You need a dragon to do this. So he goes out, along with Zethia, Notte, and a few friends he picks up on the way, and forms a pact with Midgardsormr, the windwyrm.
This is just turning into a fucking plot synopsis oh my god.
ok whatever. as they exit the mistholt suddenly his dad appears in front of them and hes like "wtf dad didnt u say you were going to the binding ruins" but then something is Very Wrong. Aurelius starts shooting black mana at them and theyre like oh fuck hes been possessed by The Other. The fiend sealed in the binding ruins. lol. uhhhh. long story short the gang loses and oddly the other wants zethia so she goes with him and is warped away and now euden has to go and get her.
i'm skipping over the parts where they chase after zethia and the other but like along this way euden finds out he can have multiple pacts just like the founder king alberius. ok. one of the dragons tried to make euden and his brother emile (6th in line) kill each other but thats a story for emile and not really for euden
Also they met a second zethia some time earlier im too lazy to insert this above but like shes been nudging the party on which way to go
anyways. they make it to the binding ruins and aurelius and zethia are there. theyre fighting!! so euden goes to shield zethia but then aurelius goes like "no!!! wtf are you doing!!!!!!" then theres a cg and BOOM zethia has red eyes shes been possessed by the other. he gets attacked but aurelius shields euden and he fucking dies. (his mana is transferred to his old dragon zodiark :) ) i forgot what was after this. uhhh the second zethia is a projection of mana from another universe and she disappears if she uses too much. but they have to escape so she warps them out then she disappears.
then zethia became the empress and renamed sol alberia into dyrenell because it was the name of the tyrannical empire in the past wow
now euden has no idea wtf to do. then he runs in with valyx (4th) then they fight then he makes his own kingdom from the mistholt— New Alberia.
in between this per chapter there are run ins with eudens other siblings, phares (2nd), leonidas (1st), and chelle (3rd). here comes chapter 10!!!
also its about 1st anniversary! euden is now 18.
anyways they get visions of alberius's fight with the other and apparently he sealed the soul of the other in the royal bloodline with a technique called the blood casket. also the others real name is morsayati. anyways thats why morsayati can body hop. i think they need to be willing but i dont remember
then stuff goes down here and all eudens siblings side with empress zethia so now the story shifts to having to fight all of the siblings.
oh boy. chapter 11 beyond. this is where the writing picks up. it felt like there was a clear change of direction (there WAS a change of direction, literally. the former director stepped down and was replaced by yuji okada from blazegames shoutouts to yuji okada my man) this was very good for euden
anyways in chapter 12 he has a fight with leonidas i know this was important but i fucking forgor
chapter 13. Oh boy. so theres this kid. they help him. he says his name is ed. ok cool. but then the kid starts spouting words. "what if your life was flipped all of a sudden" "what if you werent a royal what would you be"
then it turns out ed is actually the 5th child that none of the siblings ever met. his name is beren.
chapter 14 oh THIS IS MEATY ok theyre finally storming dyrenell. they reach the throne room and. since euden does want his sister first and foremost and is not really in the right headspace he agrees to let morsayati possess him. dude u have a whole kingdom to look after 😭😭😭 whatever. it would be very bad if morsayati possessed him because morsayati would gain access to all of his pactbound dragons. but in comes beren (he can suck black mana for his own power) and mid transfer he just fucking EATS UP morsayati. you had to be there it was hilarious. zethia still on the floor unconscious. they get intercapted by volk one of the agito and uhh idr how this goes but the agito get zethia and go towards north grastaea (alberia is in south) towards grams the holy city. euden and co chase after. (this leaves a power vacuum in dyrenell. the throne ends up with emile)
2nd zethia reappears because the morsayati worldhopping firewall is gone and she joins them. she gets a new name— Zena
CHAPTER 15 this one made me insane. chapter 14 made euden on my blorbo list but this one fucking killed me.
on the path zena gets in close calls but euden goes like "zethia ill protect u" but then zena deals with it just fine and hes like fucking hell euden thats not zethia. she doesnt need you to protect her.
ok so basically the leader of the agito appears. his name is Nedrick (💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀 FUCKING NEDRICK 🤣🤣🤣🤣) and hes like ill take zethia. and theyre going to get the dawnshard for themselves (big power) and he claims that he is the REAL 7th scion. He shows them a document with the royal seal on it and it says euden, the 7th scion, died a month after birth, and after some thing with a some person named Finlorda, a new euden replaced the child.
then nedrick shows that the document lights up in the hands of a real royal. he hands it to zethia and valyx to show. nedrick holds it. and it glows. he hands it to euden
euden is like no way i can turn into dragons. multiple even. i have dragonblood! so he takes it. then it stops glowing. then we get. This
Tumblr media
(this was in the files for a while but this was the first time it was used. oh my god euden im so sorry but there will be many more times where this will happen.)
then he gets really fucking mad and they fight and nedrick sweeps euden and they have to warp back to the halidom. the mistholts castle. but zethia doesnt go with them. she says she will stay (she has plans but they are not evident at this point) and eudens like Fuck. I failed her again. when they get back he snaps at his friends (this is the first time hes snapped) but apologizes and goes to his room. he stays there the entire day until zena comes in and smacks some therapy in his face and it works. for now. then he apologizes to his friends and asks them if theyd still follow him, even if he wasnt really royalty. they all go like yeaaah
the rest. i am.... not fucking writing that much but
ch 16 rumor gets out that euden is possessed by the other. he gets turned on by his citizens until leonidas shows up after their fight in ch12 and a character development and fixes everything and gives rations and shit and he handles the castle while euden goes to north alberia to find the truth about himself and meet finlorda who turns out to be the faerie king
ch 18 theres like. mirage and distortion snowy mountains. and euden has visions of his friends abandoning him and his citizens turning on him. he has to be snapped out of it by his sylvan (rabbit ear people) friend Luca and luca goes like "this is the first time ive seen you want anything for yourself. and i want to see you get the truth of yourself. so lean on me more" good shit
ch19 hes revealed to be made from the body of morsayati and dragonblood. then a perfect copy of the dead euden's (now nedrick) soul. this fucks him up good but he deals with it normally now. he goes out into the woods and like. processes it. also mascula and laxi reassure him at the end of the chapter (androids they met in ch11, they share laxi's body)
i have run out of energy but now euden has come to terms with the fact that he isnt the original euden and embraces it to some extent. uhh. and in the newest event where they face off against true bahamut the creator of the world he has this powered up form thats literally made from friendship. its the cheesiest shit ever but dragalia makes it so cool not joking i love it so much. im skimming over that because the event is still on

ROUND ONE
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Pit: Mmm... Something smells delicious! Palutena: Pit, that's Cooking Mama! Pit: Cooking Mama? THE Cooking Mama?! I can't believe it! Viridi: Heh, a fan are you? Pit: You bet, Viridi! A game all about making delicious food, in a way I can understand with minimal reading... And no matter how bad I mess it up, Mama always fixes it! Palutena: She's also quite the accomplished babysitter and gardener, Viridi. Two things you might be interested in as a nature goddess. Viridi: Yeah, I guess... But she sounds just like a regular human. Pit: Oh yeah?! Well, look at the way she's fighting! That Spaghetti Bolognaise is no joke! She'll whip those noodles at you and drag you in, covered in a delicious meat sauce! And those Cakes she places all over the stage are so delectable that one poke, and they'll burst frosting and sweet, sweet fruit all over you! Palutena: Well, it sounds like you already know how to fight her. I'll just go now, and- Pit: Wait- Wait, Lady Palutena, I still need help! LADY PALUTENA-
Pit: Lady Palutena, am I seeing things, or does that guy have a dragon?! Palutena: Luckily for you, Pit, Euden can only shapeshift into Midgardsormr when they get the Smash Ball. But until then, keep in mind the amount of wind attacks they can unleash! Even if they don't hit, they'll still blow you around!
