When Toji’s wife passed he managed to sell off his daughter to the notorious Zenin clan for a pretty penny, but decided to keep the ten shadows boy for himself.
Without his wife, daughter and clan, Toji’s life spiralled out of control and he took Megumi down with him.
Toji left everything behind, so did Megumi.
Toji became invisible, so did Megumi.
He corrupted him and dragged him into a cursed life of killing for money.
Leaving his boy in cheap, dusty hotels, Toji would go out to commit murder– it was as simple as grocery shopping for him, only returning home with his shirt all bloody and ripped. Young Megumi would eye his clothing curiously, his gaze wide and innocent, but would be too scared to utter a word. He knows his father has a terrible temper.
This routine continued until Megumi got older, into his late teens, when Toji thought it would be appropriate to start telling the young man about what he did. Then in his early twenties he started taking him along on his sinister missions, hunting. Lacking any formal education or training, he doubted his son would be of any use.
But Megumi had become intelligent and strong in his solitude, reading for entertainment and experimenting with his powers, his shikigami the only life forms to keep him company.
Despite his independence, having Toji as his only guiding light led the younger man to have a somewhat twisted view on reality, and as far as sound moral judgement goes, he simply does not possess it.
As an assassin, Toji likes a quick kill; clean and efficient, usually with a gun or a knife. He can get paid faster that way, delivering the body swiftly and avoiding any trouble.
But he’s noticed his son taking a liking to finishing his victims more personally.
⁺⋆
Another murderous evening had drawn to a close, their hands stained red once again, when he carelessly took his eyes off his son and their victim.
A young, powerful sorceress who’d seemingly pissed off the wrong crowd. Still, a surprisingly easy target for the assassin in training.
“Megumi, s’time to go,” the older man wipes his knife and cautiously looks along the alleyway.
His son is unresponsive.
Toji gets closer, squinting in the dark to find his hands wrapped around her neck.
She’s still alive, barely, but clinging on nonetheless, fading in and out of consciousness.
“What are you doing? Just– just fucking–”
“Wait”
The younger man’s stern voice halts Toji from slitting her throat.
And he watches his son squeeze the life out of the young woman.
His lips twitch when her eyes roll back. But still, his hand remains over her windpipe, feeling her pulse die when the last breaths escape her body.
“Megumi. We need to go.”
His son finally pulls away, and they become invisible once more.
Despite his grisly methods, not only did Megumi prove useful, but their missions also provided for some much needed father-son bonding time.
So, with his son reaching 25 years old, they got into this gruesome habit together, becoming partners.
Another habit Megumi picked up from the older man was his tendency to visit strip clubs after their kill. They were great places to hide, especially if you knew the owners well enough. And Toji knew each and every member of staff in this place; the managers, the bar staff, the girls.
And he knew a certain pretty little girl very well indeed.
Despite his many visits he never made any inappropriate advances, only paid to watch you dance. Maybe a lap dance every now and again if he was feeling particularly self gratuitous.
You share few words, but seem to have a mutual understanding of one another. You know that he loves watching you, and you’ve come to like his stern demeanour and surprisingly respectful attitude, enjoying his ability to scare off creepy customers. He’s kind of like your personal bodyguard at work. You feel lucky to have met him.
Unlike some of the halfwit scumbags that frequent the club, he’s a real man. From his assertive, deep tones, those muscles, perfect for manhandling little girls like you, and those sharp eyes, staring as if he wants your body as much as you want his.
But you have no idea what he does for work– he almost seems nocturnal.
Then you notice that he starts bringing someone else to the club.
His younger brother? His son? You can’t tell. But you know for certain that they’re related as soon as they step in together– their hair is styled differently, but is the same absolute black. The strobe lighting illuminates different colours in the younger man’s eyes, but they have the same glare. Their faces are a slightly different shape, but they have the same wicked smile.
How could there be two of him? One was already enough.
“Meet my son.”
Oh. He might be the same age as me. You think, studying his features– bags under his eyes, more height than muscle, cheeks slightly sunken.
His exchanges are awkward. He looks uncomfortable.
You offer him a dance, not knowing what else to do. You’re here to work, after all.
Toji pays for a private dance and you walk with his son to a booth, the older man giving him a wink and a devilish smile.
You draw the curtains and pause, looking at the way he’s fidgeting.
“Got a girlfriend?”
“No,” he replies tersely, narrowing his eyes.
You ask if he wants a lap dance, but he’s so hesitant that you just end up sitting next to him and chatting instead.
“So, do you enjoy working here?” he sounds less nervous now he’s gotten to know your name, at least.
“Yeah, nice customers for the most part, but the hours are pretty long.”
“Same with my job– the hours, I mean.”
“You don’t work with the public?”
“Sort of…” he trails off, dark eyes darting over your features.
You notice, despite your clothing revealing most of your body to him, that he’s focusing on your lips more than anything.
“You’re um,” he takes a long pause, dragging his gaze back to your eyes, “very pretty.”
How sweet. Your eyes widen slightly, a smile forming on your lips. You’re not used to sweet.
“Th-thank you.” you can’t help the stuttering– the way he’s looking at you with sudden intensity catches your tongue.
“Shall we–” you reach to open the curtain of the private booth, your arm caught in his strong grip, your body freezing.
“You– you can’t touch me–” does he not know that?
“Sorry” he retracts his hand, fiddling with his fingers.
“You change your mind or something?”
“No, I just wanted to… look at you, for a little longer,” you turn to face him again, “if that’s ok.”
So you nod and sit down.
He has a hungry look in his eyes now– he starts with your face, your eyes, in fact, making incredible, unwavering contact until you can’t take it, your pupils darting away to his amusement. Then he finds your mouth, and the way you’re chewing the inside of your cheek.
Then your neck, where he focuses intently on the slow thrum of your jugular. He licks his lips, making you squirm and wish he would’ve accepted the lap dance.
His gaze darts over the rest of your body and you watch the clock tick over to midnight, signalling fifteen minutes and the end of his private… whatever the fuck this was.
“Time’s up.” You stand and reach for the curtain, feeling his eyes remain over your figure as you step out and waltz back to the changing rooms.
You get off early tonight, having a final smoke with your colleagues when you see a text pop through from Toji. After exchanging numbers months ago, he barely contacts you, only asking where you are if you’re not at your regular shift.
[00:14] Toji
Come over?
You’re surprised he’s asking.
You’re tempted– after all, it is for Toji. You’ve been wanting him to reach out to you, thinking that he would’ve made his move much sooner. Every cell in your body is telling you not to do this, but you ignore the feeling, finding his hotel.
You enter the room– luckily for you, in a slightly nicer establishment than usual– still, one that is filled with the smell of alcohol and cannabis, the TV blaring on some late night gambling channel.
So they sit you down, welcoming you into their little games and bets, offering you hard liquor and joints till you’re tipsy.
After Toji’s multiple visits to your workplace, and seeing you at other clubs with your friends, he knows you’re into all kinds of drugs.
He caught you with white powder under your nose on one occasion, your pupils the size of the fucking moon another night, and with a blunt hanging out your mouth after work one evening.
He’s seen it all. He knows you’re a fiend. So… what’s the harm in pushing you a little further? Surely you can take it.
⁺⋆
Your eyelids are growing heavy, your body slumped on the floor against the coffee table while you stare at the TV in stupor. Their joints were just so packed it's nearly finished you off, and the last few drags tasted kinda funny.
“Can we tie her up now?”
You’re not sure if you heard that right, swivelling in the direction of the voice and blinking in disbelief.
You turn to find Toji with his legs spread wide, slouched back on the sofa where you left him, while the younger man stands holding some kind of cord in his hands.
Your eyes widen, your mind jolting awake when you see the way he pulls and grips it, stepping closer to you. Your body lags.
“Mm” Toji grunts, not taking his eyes off the TV.
Megumi takes this as permission to pull you up and drag you to the bedroom, your legs stumbling after your body, your mind succumbing to panic.
His hand tugs at your wrist, while you’re distracted by something strange in the edges of your vision. It’s subtle to start with, colours fading in where they weren’t before, shadows starting to move.
You try to ignore it, blaming the weed and flickering lights playing tricks on your mind.
You’re pulled from your daze when Megumi jerks your arms roughly, your vision readjusting to find yourself on the bed, your wrists forced to the frame in a tight knot of coarse, black rope.
“Mm– Megumi,” your voice comes out more slurred than you expected, confusion crossing your features, “w-what’re you doin’...”
“What does it look like?” He shoots back, his sharp tone making you recoil.
“I, I don’ know– jus’, w-where’s Toji?”
He watches your eyes dart about, enjoying your fearful expression.
You notice a sinister glint behind his indigo irises, his face looming closer and starting to cloud your vision.
You’re squirming now, pushing yourself up the bed, trying to distance yourself from him. But he keeps coming.
“Stay still…” he stops your motions with a single cool hand closing around your ankle, dark eyes trained on your throat again.
Time stops still when he leans in and places a single, chaste kiss over your neck.
He does it slowly. Gently. As if you’re the only one he’d kiss like this. His silent intensity makes you tremble.
He pulls away with a pleased hum, the feeling of your heartbeat making his lips tingle, his dark mess of hair illuminated with a dull halo.
He’s not too far gone. You could still go back.
“Y-you don’ have to do this,” you stumble, your voice cracking.
“I know,” he presses another kiss over your jaw, becoming ravenous now he can almost smell your fear, “but I want to…”
His voice disappears into the crook of your neck, where he starts sucking and tonguing.
He wants to taste you.
There’s a deep ache inside you now, gripping at your heart and filling your lungs, where it spreads to your throat– to where you can feel his mouth over you.
Nobody has ever kissed you like this before.
The way he sucks and bites is cruel, your body starting to flood with pain. If he does it any harder you’re sure he’s going to taste your blood. He’s going to puncture your neck and let it spill.
“M-megumi– please–” your whispered sobs only urge him on, till he’s dragging his canines over you and sinking them into the soft flesh.
His impassioned movements finally ebb as he switches to tending your marked skin with his tongue and lips, inhaling your scent deeply.
He sits up now, looking longingly into your tear stained eyes, his pupils drifting to where your lips are quivering with his name.
“I’m not going to hurt you,” he lies, stroking your ankles gently.
Standing up, he watches you shake your head again, begging him not to go any further and that you’d anticipated being with Toji tonight, asking where he is again.
“He’s a little busy…” he cranes his neck to ensure his father is still transfixed by the TV.
“Plus, you should be grateful,” he tugs off his belt, “you get to take my virginity.”
Your eyes fly wide, your mouth dry and gulping for air stupidly.
Just the way he looks puts you on edge– and now you know he has no experience, you can’t begin to fathom what he’s going to do to you.
“Nn-no– thought, thought Toji w-w–”
His next movements are too swift for your idle, drug induced brain to comprehend.
He’s over you, your arms twisted uncomfortably above your head, his cock nudging at the sweet bud of your clit.
That’s the only ‘foreplay’ you’ll be treated to before he slots himself up against your tight, unprepped entrance, shoving your dress and panties aside.
“Toji!!!” you cry out for the older man, “Toji, god–” but your voice is interrupted, choked by his cock sinking into you, hard and deep.
The man before you has changed, his resting scowl paling in comparison to the now fierce arch of his eyebrows.
Why are you crying for his father when he has everything you need right here?
“Ah– haah—” you shake and squirm, struggling with his untamed, crude thrusting.
Your head flies back when he pushes deeper still, slowly working your raw pussy open to the shape of him, while he watches fresh tears trickling over your waterline and gathering beautifully in the corners of your wide, glassy eyes.
“Hm,” he lets a little laugh escape, enjoying your quiet sobbing and whimpering as he gets rougher and dirtier, grabbing and marking your skin.
Your arms start to jostle and tug in the bindings, your wrists aching from the pressure.
“Untie me…” you sniffle.
“Untie you? But I haven’t even got started yet…”
He wipes the tears from your cheeks with his thumb, trailing his hand down your face and stroking the marks on your neck.
“Might untie you after I hear you scream,” he gives you an experimental squeeze, then leans closer, bringing his face down next to yours.
The way he’s talking has you wondering if he really is a virgin, your thought quickly dispelled by his hedonistic thrusting.
You can hear his shaky breath in your ear now, your legs lifting instinctively when you feel him haphazardly pressing on your g-spot.
“Yeah, open up f’me,” he whispers, sucking on your earlobe, his free arm encircling your head to cage you in closer.
You can feel his hips start to jolt unevenly. He’s close.
“D-don– don’ cum inside,” you beg, your eyes getting bleary as he constricts your windpipe.
You feel him smirking over your skin, speeding up his ragged motions, squeezing.
Your pained breaths consume him, urging him to crush your throat with a look in his eyes that makes you believe he’s going to take your life.
His pale, beautiful face hovers above yours, eyes enrapt by every miniscule expression of terror that passes your features.
“S-s—”
Your voice is gone, you can only fight for breath now, your body succumbing to a helpless fit.
You struggle. Kicking. Hips bucking.
He drinks it all in, thrusting mercilessly now.
“You can’t do that to her.”
You hear a sudden deep, booming voice, hands pulled from your neck, air flooding your lungs as you sputter and cough.
Toji takes his son’s arms and bends them behind his back, restraining him instantly and pulling him off you; out of you.
He lets the sight sink in for a moment, words failing him.
Toji’s affected by the drugs and booze, but he can still get some kind of hold on this fucked up situation.
“Look. Just let me show you… what you’re supposed to do,” he drawls into the younger man’s ear before releasing him.
Sure, he needs to take responsibility. But he can’t let you go. Not yet.
You shake your head again, watching the younger man struggling with his achy, hard boner after being denied his first raw dogging orgasm.
His father readjusts you on the bed to his own liking, leaving you tied up and taking your thighs in his beefy hands. He dips his head low, lips skimming over your neglected clit.
“‘M feelin’ hungry…” he mutters, proceeding to swirl his tongue through your heat, where his son’s cock was digging moments ago, humming while parting your labia and licking sensually at your little jewel.
However done you are with this situation, overcome with lightheadedness from your choking, you’re glad to at least be sent reeling through a few much needed orgasms.
And now you’ve had a chance to breathe and relax a little, you’re becoming aware of a shift in your consciousness.
Your body is right here, in this moment, experiencing every fleeting detail in high definition. But your mind is somewhere else, overcome with a feeling of simultaneous presence and dissociation.
The older man sits up, patting the bed for his son to join him.
“You ok, doll?”
He watches you look around curiously, taking in the room that’s now bending and changing before you.
“Think the lsd’s kickin’ in…” he mutters, “just lay back, promise we’re not gunna hurt ya.”
“The-the what?” you stutter, your hands starting to tense and grip in the restraints.
“Look, there were a few drops of acid in that last wrap, jus’ relax, ok?”
Fuck. You knew you shouldn’t have come here.
You let it sink in, taking a deep breath so you don’t lose your cool. You cannot let your mind spiral on this drug.
“That’s it,” he encourages you, “good girl. Jus’ let go.”
You give up trying to fight it, obeying his gentle tones, working past the nausea to find your mind and body entering a different headspace.
Reality fades in and out, feeling their tongues on you, one after the other, switching and exchanging till you’re unaware of what’s happening to you.
You can only sense their touch, submitting your body to the chemical pleasure.
Your clothes are torn off now, soft, deep words being exchanged until you feel them shifting around.
You feel the unmistakable nudging of a hardened cock at your entrance once more. Only this time, it slips through your folds easily, your slick hole welcoming the long, hard member.
You blink slowly, your vision wobbling as your mind enters a trance in sync with their rhythm.
“Megumi?” no, “Toji?” you honestly can’t tell, your faculties slowly dulling as the powerful drug takes over.
You reach out your arms hoping to discern who’s inside you, only for their body to move away as another frame enters your view.
You feel his cock sink in, hips rolling and stimulating your senses till you’re creaming and moaning around his girth.
“T-tojii–” you’re sure it must be the older man. He feels strong, manhandling you and pushing you wider.
But he pulls away too soon.
You focus hard, seeing both of them now, one figure in front of the other, one man guiding, the other following.
“...like this… take her… deep…” you can only make out a few words, wide eyes distracted by the scar on his lips.
But the way Megumi’s cock slides in is completely different than before– the feral jackhammering transformed into long drags, smooth and hard.
They exchange words, Megumi’s movements getting greedier until you feel his body consuming yours in a display of lust and passion so strong you let out a scream of his name.
The sound of your voice, combined with the grip of your pussy that’s drenched with the slick of a fresh orgasm, rips a groan from his depths.
You hear him panting and moaning, his thrusts getting sloppy, until he’s drawn out of you again.
That was close. You think, realising his father pulled him away before he could spill inside you.
Things are getting blurry now. They’re both over you, on you, in you.
With the surreal visuals taking over, your mind enters another realm while they kiss and fuck and share your body.
Spiky black hair, blue and green eyes flashing, hard muscles and sadistic smiles are all you can see.
Their images burn into your retina, becoming a blurred mirage of nightmarish beauty.
A sight that you will never forget.
Now that Toji’s brought his son up to speed and you’re all wet, you honestly can’t tell who is who.
So you sink into it, enjoying the spiralling visions behind your closed eyelids while they draw waves of orgasmic pleasure from your body.
They bend and move you, pinning your legs back, pushing deeper, then onto your knees. You’re getting so absorbed in the trip now, the euphoric energy taking over, that you’re only partly aware that you’re being lifted.
You’re off the bed, you know that much.
You’re in a pair of strong arms. It’s Toji. You smile, your eyes clearing to see his roguishly handsome face before you.
“Hey pretty girl,” he places tender kisses over your lips, and you accept them with pleasure, “gunna try somethin’ fun now…”
You giggle, liking the sound of that very much.
He holds you, his massive cock melting into your core so deep he’s going to become a part of you, then slides his fingers over your ass.
You feel another body behind you. Megumi.
You turn, feeling his lips over you as well, murmuring sweet praise in your ear the whole while.
You feel him sliding over your ass now, through the wet juice of your pussy, pushing into the tight ring.
“Oh, oh my– fuck–” he edges in, his father thrusting slowly while urging him to be gentle.
“Haahhh–” you breathe out, your head falling back onto Megumi’s hard shoulder where he caresses your skin with his lips.
“That’s– that’s fucking good,” he hums in your ear, pushing himself all the way back while grabbing your ass.
They cradle you, thrusting in tandem, as you reach a new level of bliss.
Hearing them, feeling them takes you higher, until you can only sense their deep moans vibrating through you, the drag of their cocks.
Your thoughts turn slippery, losing focus on the world around you, wondering how you ended up here in the first place, realising that you don’t care.
Right now, you care about the man in front of you, tall and broad, scarred lip between his teeth with dark green eyes fixed on yours.
His ever sombre stare resides behind those fiery irises.
It captivates you.
Your body is convulsing with dopamine once more, slurred thank yous leaving your lips, and all you can concentrate on is counting the shades of green in his eyes.
Flecks of amber shimmer within the emerald, his lashes blinking slowly, eyebrows quirking.
“Watcha lookin’ at?”
“Mm, pretty,” is all you can muster at this time, earning a snort of laughter.
He mutters under his breath and starts taking you harder till you feel him pulling you off his son and pushing you down on the bed.
Your legs spread, wide and obedient, holding yourself by the knees while he takes your nipples between his lips, between his teeth.
“How many times s’that now?” he feels you clenching and bucking again.
You just giggle and sigh, stroking his obsidian strands in a dreamy state.
He hums with pleasure; you feel his nose dipping into your neck, where he places soft, gentle kisses, in contrast to his now animalistic pace.
Letting off hot grunts and moans, he finally spills his hot, wet cum.
He pulls away, his son entering your vision once more.
Angling your ass up, he guides himself in again, enjoying the way your tight muscle spasms around him, but takes him all nonetheless.
His hips get nasty, drawing whimpers from you until he nears his release, growling and sinking his teeth into your marked skin.
“Fuck– fuck–” you tug at his jet black spikes, encouraging him to take all he needs until you feel his hot load shoot deep into you.
“Ugh, oh princess– fuck me–” he sighs, strong muscles overcome with exhaustion as he watches your beautiful features relax once more.
You feel peaceful, watching the gentle rise and fall of his chest, the way his hair hangs over those dark eyes.
Your wavering vision absorbs his graceful figure in all his glory, your mouth opening before your brain catches up.
“Art” you poke at his hardened stomach, earning a slight smile, “artist.” You look up at his father now, appreciating the view as he stands before you.
You giggle, laying back and focusing on the ebb and flow of your breath, feeling your senses leave you, your eyes resting as you enter transcendental sleep.
⁺⋆
You wake to find your body bare, but clean.
There’s no longer white liquid oozing from you– just soft, warm sheets and the fresh smell of soap.
You climb out of the bed, stepping to the bathroom, eyes still half lidded and hazy.
You look in the mirror, finding kaleidoscopic visuals in the reflection, where the glass bends and trembles.
But you can see your face. Unscathed. Unharmed. You look down. It’s just a few bruises. You’re fine.
Despite their questionable methods, this has been a good trip… and you have to admit, a very good fuck.
So in your giddy state, you tiptoe out to the main room, watching their heads turn from the TV, grins emerging.
“Mornin’ honey,” Toji coos. It’s dark outside. You have no idea what time it is.
You step over to the sofa, sinking between the two men again, taking their lips and tongues while their hands roam and fondle your body.
You sit back, enjoying how they’re drawn to you magnetically, allowing their pleasure to fill your body once more while you ride out the most ethereal high of your life.

Alright so someone on tiktok sent me a link to a compiled list of arguments against proshippers and so I wanted to put a sort of brief response of my own thoughts of each point.
Long post warning!
"Proshippers are non-offending minor attracted people in a fresh paint of coat"
Tumblr media
What a start, am I right? Okay so first off this is a huge generalisation, not every proshipper engages with or is even comfortable with anything that sexualises fictional children, or ships them with adults. And of those that do ship adult/minor ships, it doesn't always mean they're attracted to the character themselves or gains any sexual pleasure from that.
They then went on to say that although they might be non-offending, they still fantasise about and romanticise children- in the case of proshippers by creating art and stories. And I am not personally educated enough on how people's minds works to go in depth here, but I do know a lot of pedophilic thoughts can be intrusive and unwanted. And I would much rather people engage in this and deal with their thoughts through fiction where no actual children are harmed, than actually go touch a real child or engage is any form of CSEM.
“People can draw and ship whatever they want!”
Tumblr media
Here they went on to say that surely to ship and create content you must justify these things in some capacity regardless of them being fictional. And immediately I'd argue, the justification it that they're fictional. And that sometimes you want to read about things you'd never approve of in real life, it's a natural curiosity. And again, regardless of what the dark content is I would take someone engaging in fiction over harming a real person any day.
They compared this to alt-right groups and dark humour justifying racism and transphobia, etc. And whilst I think something we should always be aware of in fiction is stereotypes and how we may be representing people. Youtube videos like this are usually a type of propaganda that AIM to change people's mindsets and turn them against groups. Whereas fiction tells a story, some may have meanings and connections to real life, be a political piece, etc. Not everything is that serious and has a clear distinction from reality.
Think for example, reading/watching about murder and gore. More on that in a second.
"Fiction doesn't affect reality!"
Tumblr media
I'm going to be honest I rolled my eyes at this as their main example was slenderman. If you don't know about that, those girls were schizophrenic. Anything could of set off and caused delusions, it just so happened to be fiction. Those girls needed help- not to just read purer content. They also basically brought up propaganda again, which is again deliberate and designed to warp peoples perceptions. Its based of lying and spreading misinformation and passing it as facts. The only thing I strongly believe can be directly harmful is stereotypes if not handled with care. But I think that's something for anyone who writes and consumes content should be aware of regardless of their stances.
Tumblr media
Again here they implied that all proshippers are peodophiles. And that they normalise abuse of children. I'd also like to point out that most proshippers I've interacted with online have age boundaries to avoid interacting with minors depending on how graphic or sexual their content is.
"What do you think all stories about murder should stop existing?"
Tumblr media
Here they basically argued that killing in media isn't the same as its not romanticised or condoned. YA Novels disagree- mafia stories being the most immediate example to spring to mind. Furthermore, morally grey villains. One of my favourite films is Mr Right. It's about a hitman killing people. Anna kendrick falls in love with him and its framed as a romantic comedy. Funny how its only fanfiction that's criticised like this? I actually have more thoughts on this if anyones interested.
Tumblr media
Again they bring up kids not knowing adults pursuing children is wrong, and I'm questioning why children this young are unsupervised on the Internet. How young were you when you were allowed to watch anything with graphic blood or violence? This content isn't made for kids! Especially not anyone so young they can't seperate fiction from reality as most sites have a specific age you have to be to join. And I'm sorry to say it, but on websites and social media where adults can interact with kids, anything can be used to groom kids. (The real thing you should be mad about here is how there's no websites aimed just for children and safe spaces on the Internet anymore cause it can't be monetised as easily)
"Artists are allowed to draw and write about dark people"
Tumblr media
They basically said, yes but it's not the same as promoting. Writing something under a romantic light and not saying "Don't do at home!" Isn't promoting. No ones encouraging these things in real life. Or rather, if they are its not because they're a proshipper but rather who they are as a person and their intentions.
The trans example they used is very extreme and honestly something I agree with a little more, fiction can definitely be used as an excuse to say and act out hateful and discriminatory things. Whilst I do think it's something we should discuss and unpack more, I'm not certain of my view on how I would fix this without risking silencing people talking about their experiences.
"Its not my responsibility to look after other people, just block me and the tags"
Tumblr media
Here they threw all kinds of accusations. And says that we're making traumatised people jump through hoops to avoid getting retraumatised. I hate this argument, you know people have actual triggers they may not be able to avoid in real life? The world can't bend around you. And I am very sorry if any content online is traumatising to you, but someone could also be traumatised by a certain breed of dog and not want to see it. Should no one post dogs online ever again? A bald man reminds you of an abusive ex? Bald men get off the Internet! You see how this thing can just keep escalating? The tags and warnings are important because they're the best you can get. You can't control the world to protect everyone from everything ever. No ones forcing you to interact, and if you're on any algorithm based content that will encourage that content on your for your page more.
The only thing I think we should take from this is the reminder that warnings and tags are always important.
"You only care about censoring creativity"
Tumblr media
Here they defend themselves that oh wouldn't you want freaks out the community! Which again immediately makes me lose respect for you, if you're just going to brand us all as freaks as an argument and generalize us.
Tumblr media
No comment on that first line when you can easily argue antishipper do the same.
"Proshippers are not remotely innocent of targeted harrasement" Neither are antis. There's people who take things too far both sides and I'm not going to defend either for that.
"Real kids get assaulted and all you care about is censoring people online!"
Tumblr media
Here they shout "oh I can care about both!" But what I don't think they realise is censorship can make it difficult for kids and to learn about how to speak up and to look for signs, or to speak up about their experiences. How do you plan on removing the topic from the Internet whilst also letting victims speak up? And people may want to write fiction based off their experiences. Who are you to go through it and proclaim what is too far, what romanticises it too much? More on this later.
"Antis are reducing my trauma"
Tumblr media
They compared this to saying "date rape victims are reducing my trauma because they weren't taken advantage of in the same way as me" which is a disgusting parallel?? Date rape is still rape. Someone writing about something isn't the same as it happening. Although it can be used as harrasment, grooming, etc if directly addressed to you or being constantly sent to you, written about you. But the content existing in general? No.
"I'm coping"
Tumblr media
Compared it to self harm, and such. Poetry and diaries are also used to write about your experiences and unpack trauma. Some of which may write it in an unrealistically positive light cause that's how they want to unpack it or explain those thoughts. And yes these things get posted online.
I can't imagine a single therapist or professional psychiatrist of any kind disapproving of creative writing because, again, it's much better than any alternatives of doing real harm to yourself or people around you. Although I do agree that if something is traumatising for you to read about and just upsets you further, be aware of your own boundaries but not everyone is the same so how are you going to police people's own thoughts and emotions.
Also I can't remember who or where as it was years ago now, but I have heard of people who actually realised they were being groomed or abused and just how bad it was through reading about it in a fanfic and seeing it in an outside perspective.
They also say to do it in private, but doesn't everyone on the Internet now have an understanding of finding a community and looking out for eachother and sharing experiences?
"There's more nuance here than just calling proshippers peodophiles"
Tumblr media
Here they say no matter what it still comes down to whether it's ever okay to sexualise minors in certain contexts. And again, not every proshipper does this or is even comfortable with engaging in this kind of content. And further, no one is sexualising real minors in this context.
"I'm a proshipper and a minor tho!"
Tumblr media
I'd agree minors should be wary of the spaces they're in but proship spaces aren't always necessarily sexual, graphic or 18+. Saying they're being groomed feels like you're watering down that term. I was a proshipper at age 13, I didn't interact with anyone online about it though, I didn't even know that was the term. I just came to the conclusion that it's just fiction all on my own. Minors aren't idiots.
At then end they talk about their own experience being groomed and I'm obviously not going to nitpick or criticise their experiences. I will point out that one person being bad and taking advantage of you and using content to do so doesn't mean everyone is like that. I am sorry to anyone who has been taken advantage of by someone who claims they're a proshipper though. There are people who have turned out to be horrible on both sides.
I am ill and it's late but I want to get this up sooner rather than later so please ask for clarification on anything. I'm always up for a discussion on this topic as I do believe some of these points do have merits at times and that this whole topic is not black and white

Why do you people get so mad when someone tells you incest is bad? 🤨📸
Hey Dumbass Anon,
We get mad when morons like you come at us because we're fully aware that incest is nearly always wrong in real life, but that has absolutely nothing to do with shipping it in fictional circumstances. You idiots fail to understand that there's a huge difference between FICTION and REALITY, and that enjoying something in fiction doesn't mean condoning it in reality.
Plenty of people are fans of gory films and shows like the Saw series, Hannibal, Dexter, any slasher flick, or even Game of Thrones or The Boys, but only an utter imbecile would believe that those people approve of murder, torture, cannibalism, and so on in the real world. Part of the point of fiction is to allow us to explore dark, dangerous, and/or taboo topics in a safe environment, after all. So why is so hard for you absolute walnuts to understand that this applies to things like Wincest as well?
In addition, the reasons why real-life incest is almost always horrible don't actually apply to Wincest anyways. Sam and Dean are consenting adults who can't have offspring with each other, so there's no possibility of child abuse, rape, or inbreeding. No one at all, whether fictional or real, is getting hurt by fantasizing about these two characters being in a romantic and/or sexual relationship.
Whereas by your ignorant "logic," nearly every major ship in SPN is problematic in some way: any ship with angels or demons involves rape if the vessel is still alive or necrophilia if the host is dead, any ship between a human and any kind of supernatural creature most likely involves major age gaps and/or power imbalances, necrophilia if the creature is undead, and possibly some form of bestiality, and so on. So why aren't you jackasses also going after shippers of Destiel, Sastiel, Sabriel, Denny, and so on?

yeah, catra isn't the same as shadow weaver. she's worse.
“catra sacrificed herself with no fanfare, no ulterior motives”
i find that hard to believe. minutes before rescuing glimmer, she says this:
Tumblr media
now, if this was coming from a relatively good person who has just made some mistakes, i would feel sorry for her. but “no one cares about me 🥺” coming from a literal war criminal and an abuser? it reads to me as a plea for sympathy, an ulterior motive. and it's clear by the way she quickly goes back to screaming and degrading adora as soon as she was saved from horde prime.
“she apologized. something she never did to anyone in the entire series prior to this.”
are we praising the bare minimum now? yeah, she should be apologizing. and her apology should have been a lot more sincere than just a hollow “i'm sorry for everything”. granted she didn't have enough time to go into depth at the time, you would expect her to apologize properly once she's rescued, right? she doesn't.
shadow weaver didn't apologize and her intentions for sacrificing herself were not great. however, shadow weaver didn't participate in the war (not directly and not to the extent that catra did, at least). she never attempted murder. she never tried to end the world and kill everyone in it. she never caused the death of a person.
shadow weaver was an abuser but she wasn't a war criminal. she never went to the extent that catra did.
and as much as i don't condone abuse, i consider shadow weaver to be a morally grey character. she's horrible because she abuses and manipulates children but she was also willing to help out the heroes when they needed it, regardless of what her motivations were.
it is kind of the truth that monsters create even worse monsters. the cycle of abuse often times tend to worsen throughout generations, although not always. this should have been acknowledged in spop, but it wasn't.
“abused children who lash out in their hurt do deserve to be forgiven if they change.”
two things. one, “lash out” is putting it lightly. you're acting like the worst catra did was yell at someone. save this term for characters like glimmer. secondly, i agree. keyword here being “if they change”. which catra doesn't. she doesn't change.
i completely empathize with people who relate to catra and i'm not stopping you from feeling happy about her redemption. abuse victims do deserve love and sympathy, they deserve a chance to change and grow.
but you have to realize that catra's redemption arc isn't healthy. realistically speaking, this is not good for her. her victims just forgiving her and letting everything slide will only provoke more toxicity from her.
in order to fix a mistake, you need to be held accountable. you need to remind yourself to do better everyday. and in catra's case, she doesn't hold herself accountable (as proven obvious by the way she still blames adora for leaving, and also never brings up certain things that she did like *cough* killing angella *cough*) and no one else holds her accountable either. this is a recipe for disaster. this is not how redemption arcs should work, in fiction or in real life.
not to mention, adora was also a victim of abuse. does she not deserve a happy ending? why is it that catra's trauma is the only one taken seriously? why is catra the only abuse victim who deserves to live a happy life, at the cost of her victim's happiness and well-being?

Hi, I'm a og Sebaciel who mostly stopped following the fandom happenings after R!Ciel reveal. I still remember the old Kuro forum with its wonderful metas. I just returned to Tumblr and it is completely filled with hate for the ship now. Did something happen? Back then people mostly let others ship in peace. I'm just very surprised at the general animosity.
haha I'm perhaps the wrong person to ask. I quit reading wayy before you (Green Witch arc) and just came back to the fandom a few months ago. Surprised me too. Back then, if you're into Kuroshitsuji, you are into SebasCiel. No question.
My best guess is that these ppl are born from the sjw wave, which gave birth to the puriteen movement. They assign moral values to contents they consume and vice versa, making consuming contents their only personality trait. In other words, they believe if you condone something in fiction, you must condone it in real life as well. (In which case, they should just smell their own backside cos Kuroshitsuji is a dark fantasy and literally had a demon committing mass murders by a 13yo kid's order 🤷🏻‍♀️ but I guess murder is cute to these people).
Fandom ethics has also gotten worse. People felt entitled to dictate other's opinions. They have this unhealthy parasocial relationship with characters, idols, actors... and demand those idols/author to comply with their own moral codes. Else they boycott. Else they doxx. They're even advocating for the removal of fanfictions they deemed "morally corrupted". Most of them are Westerners too, applying Western logic and moral values on a story that is inherently Japanese by a Japanese author. These people do not know the history of fandom, how it got where it is today and what older generations have overcome. They feel entitled to not learning how to co-exist with one another.
On a final note, I'll tell you that the Asian fandom are doing just fine :)) we remain somewhat the same and the Japanese fans especially don't give a shit about these proship-antiship discord. To them anything is fair game. I much prefer staying on that side of things than going to the trenches with these immature imps tbh :))

"I dont support it in real life!"
Then why write about it? If for coping purposes, why post it online for others (especially actual predators) to see and consume? Then why portray those things in a positive light instead of condemning them? And you're seriously going to tell me that just because as an adult you want to see a fictional minor (that mind you, is usually designed to resemble an actual child) depicted in sexual situations doesn't mean you don't share that same view concerning children in real life? You find fictional minors attractive but not real ones? Why does the line between finding someone who is (and usually also looks like) a child sexually attractive get drawn at whether the child is real or not? I'm not calling anyone pedophiles, but if the shoe fits... And also no, I am not talking about 18 y/os finding 17 y/os attractive. Use your brain. Creating content of underaged characters is still questionable regardless of age, however.
Then why write about it? Because I want to. Why I want to is a very personal question.
If for coping purposes, why post it online for others (especially actual predators) to see and consume?
To get feedback of my writing, which is a social activity! If your logic is that a predator might enjoy something, then there's no ethical way to create.
And you're seriously going to tell me that just because as an adult you want to see a fictional minor (that mind you, is usually designed to resemble an actual child) depicted in sexual situations doesn't mean you don't share that same view concerning children in real life?
I don't read smut. I barely write smut. This is an unfounded assumption. Also, that is using the slippery slope fallacy. There are many things in fiction I write about that I don't condone in real life, such as murder, abuse, graphic bodily harm, and child endangerment.
The assumption that people condone shit they read and write about is kind of weird to me, mate.
You find fictional minors attractive but not real ones?
Yes, even though I've only had a handful of underage fictional crushes since I've turned 18. (Miu Iruma, currently.)
In 90% of cases, teenaged fictional characters look, are voiced by, and act like adults. The narrative treats them as adults. If a character's age isn't directly relevant to the plot, why care about it?
Why does the line between finding someone who is (and usually also looks like) a child sexually attractive get drawn at whether the child is real or not?
A very good question! The answer is because a real child is harmed, while a fictional one isn't. Paedophilia isn't bad due to the fact its gross (and I do find it gross.), its bad because someone gets hurt!
The only time fictional characters get hurt, is when we authors/readers IMAGINE them getting hurt. All harm done is imaginary.
Furthermore, I really dislike you using 'looks like a child' here. Thats body shaming, since there is a large portion of adults that happen to look like children. A lot of disabled people are also infantilized for similar reasons. Looks have nothing to do with the morality of an act.
Creating content of underaged characters is still questionable regardless of age, however.
Tumblr media
Here are my ao3 warnings. My ao3 is SHSL_Angstlord if you'd like to make sure I'm not lying. When you accuse someone of being a predator, the burden of proof is on you to provide actual evidence.

Random question, Prince but do you think Victoria or Gerard had military backgrounds? Maybe serving themselves or had parents that served?
Tumblr media
I want to preface this answer with a caveat: this might be the most speculative meta I've ever written. While I'm going to try to draw as much evidence as I can from canon, I don't think it would be out-of-the question for people to disregard it on its surface merits.
So, here goes. I don't think that the Argents would join the military and they would strongly discourage their children from joining the military. I'm sure that during the time of the draft there might have been some Argents serving, but it would be under duress. If you accept the same head canon that I do, that Victoria was also from a hunting family, she would not be either. I think the reasons would be historical, practical, and philosophical.
Historical: Of all the characters in the Teen Wolf series, Marie-Jeanne Argent née Valet had the most emotionally true (if not entirely rational) reaction to the discovery that her beloved relative turned out to be one of the most prolific serial killers in that world let alone a terrifying demonic werewolf. As we see in The Maid of Gévaudan (5x18), she reacted with outright condemnation, hunting him down over three years and destroying all trace of him with a damnatio memoriae, which in reality meant destroying her own past, too. We can assume that the Argent Code was written by her, including the part where any hunter who was Bit by a werewolf had to kill themselves. This is extreme behavior (even if valid) and it is echoed in the revulsion non-corrupted Argents like Chris and Allison had when discovering Kate's and Gerard's crimes. It was certainly less permissive than the Hale family's tendency to react to deaths caused by their family which ranged from outright condoning ("But still beautiful, just like the rest of you") to dismissive (after all, how many people did kooky Uncle Petey kill, including the guy he shoved alive into a burning barrel, and still have the keys to the family home?).
Considering that Sebastian became a demon wolf while he was serving in the French king's war with England across an entire ocean in their respective colonies, I don't think it's a stretch for Marie-Jeanne in establishing her code to steer her descendants away from military service. It might even have been a requirement.
Practical: While both the military and hunters use weapons, military service wouldn't seem to bear much resemblance to hunter training. It appears to me to be much closer to espionage or criminal work. Hunting werewolves requires training in specific weapons (bows, tasers, and poisons), technology (hypersonic emitters), and techniques (torture, infiltration, intimidation, and cleaning up evidence). In addition, the soldiers of the Argent family exhibit a level of discernment when it comes to tactics and targets that the military simply would not tolerate. Chris points as much out to Kate in Code Breaker (1x12):
Chris: No one asked you to murder innocent people. There were children in that house, ones who were human. Look what you're doing now. You're holding a gun on a 16-year-old boy with no proof he spilled human blood.
Later on in Relics (6x04), Chris explains that he should have intervened when he saw how Gerard was training Kate. That implies to me that while Argent soldiers are supposed to follow the lead of the matriarch, they're also expected to do more than just follow orders. While civilization demands we hold individual military soldiers to answer for their conduct, I can tell you from personal experience that military training does not have a goal to instill a sense of individual agency.
Philosophical: In my encounters with real-life military people, it is my experience that they see themselves and the military as a whole as an immanent part of society itself. They enable civilization to exist; they uphold society's laws and mores as one of its pillars. I am sure that many people on this site would disagree with that assessment, but I'm talking about the perception within military culture itself. The military focus on being a vital part of their country, and when they err it is when they come to believe that they are the most important part and thus have a greater right to say how a country and a civilization will behave.
One of the things I've noticed about the Argents and the other hunting family feature, the Calaveras, is that they don't consider themselves part of the greater society. They see themselves as protecting it from monsters that the average person cannot comprehend, and while they certainly do infiltrate law enforcement and emergency services, they don't seek permanent authority over the mundane social institutions. This is one of the significant departures that marked Monroe as different from previous organized hunters, and one that made her more dangerous. Victoria, Araya, Chris and Allison (and when they weren't being selfishly corrupt, even Gerard and Kate) saw themselves as operating outside of it all as a necessity. They work with criminals like the yakuza; they hire mercenaries; and they understand that they will never be fully accepted.
Chris: We're gonna be pariahs in this town. Victoria: We can handle it.
Monroe, on the other hand, organized hunters to protect society, but she wanted to change society as well. She accused the werewolves not only of being monsters by virtue of their natures and by their acts, but by the power that privileged them ("No one should have this power"), and she accused people like Sheriff Stilinski of abetting that unfair advantage. (I will never forgive Teen Wolf for giving up on exploring that difference half-way through 6B.) Since Gerard was only interested in using Monroe, he didn't train to see herself the way he and his family saw themselves: protectors working from the outside.
All these things lead me to believe that the Argents wouldn't have military training, not even corrupt ones like Gerard or Victoria.

am i just in different spaces than a lot of people or have i legit never seen anyone earnestly being like "this character was justified for doing bad things because they had a rough background"? i feel like that's a complete fabrication at this point. more than likely it's just a lot of people don't seem to understand sympathizing and/or empathizing with someone while simultaneously disagreeing with their actions. you can (and should more often) do that! it's a good exercise in empathy (as an aside, it's important to understand why bad things are the way they are, and how they came to be, so they can possibly be prevented later).
fictional characters (and real people but this isn't the blog for that. just treat people with respect.) who do bad things aren't suddenly zapped of their humanity, feelings, relationships, or experiences that led them to this point. and it's fun, cathartic, and interesting at the very least to explore these aspects... and even, god forbid, feel for them and cast them in a sympathetic light in certain contexts.
they still feel pain and clearly they didn't deal with that pain constructively given that we're talking about Bad Guys here. so i will continue to talk about them in this way, especially because i perpetually commit the grave sin of connecting with characters like this... because we have similar experiences or outlooks on certain parts of life. and just because we may have perspectives that align in some ways, that doesn't mean i'm just as evil or "excuse it," because their thoughts don't solely revolve around EVIL TERROR BADWRONG CRIME MURDER KILL.
there are many influences on a person that come from all over. even the guys with the most one-track-mind think about other things and approach multiple facets of their lives based on their general life outlook. WHY do they want to do the bad things they do? why did they (possibly) once do good things? who or what is important to them and why? why do they see themselves as above others? what do they think about their autonomy, and the autonomy of others? did they once feel powerless, and what do they do about it when they feel that powerlessness now? what happened to them?
why aren't we allowed to acknowledge the potential suffering they went through and why/how they're here now, doing the things they do? why are we only allowed to do that when it's a Good Guy?
if i dare to connect with Bad Guy and want to explore their justifications and commit the horrible crime of feeling for them, i guess that means i condone all the crimes ever. at this point, yeah!!! fine!!! if that's what it takes! fine, yes, they suffered and that means they can do whatever they want now. go forth, babe, be terrible. you have my seal of approval. i do not see it 😪 but if i did, let's say hypothetically i did, just know it was hot

#CharminglyProBelos an event by and for Belos fans!
Welcome to the #CharminglyProBelos event! An all year round event for the TOH fandom and more specifically Belos fans. What is this event you may ask: A hastag for Belos fans to let loose and post as they want, post all the dark topics you can think off, do you want to post about Empgold? Bellector, Philuz or Belos horribly torturing someone? This is the event for you! Any and all Belos art is welcome regardless of subject or content. Some examples of what is allowed: Any and all ship content, doesn't matter what the ship is violence gore murder any and all dark or what is deemed problematic themes pretty much good Belos stuff (reformed aus, good uncle aus you name it) edits videos crafts nothing is off the table, go buck wild! Why is this event?: Sadly many fans for some reason do not understand that liking a fictional villain does not mean you agree or condone with their actions or want to see it happen in real life. This goes for fiction in general, there are many bad things in fiction, murder, torture, people being violently punched to a bloody pulp, drugs, alcohol you name it. However just because people enjoy dark themes in fiction does not mean they think this is okay in real life. We do not stand or tollerate any kind of harassment, bullying doxxing or sending death threats. This behaviour is not okay not even from other Belos fans, please do notify me of such behaviour if it does happen, there is an alternative hashtag for only clean Belos content so if people don't want to see the nittygritty then that hashtag is for them. Rules, yes there are a few: - Please make sure anything is in line with Tumblr's/Twitter's Guidelines, as much as I'm not a fan of it myself but it can't be helped. We don't want anyone to get their socials nuked, for those seeking to really post the hard stuff, Bluesky, Aethy and Baraag are places to do that. If anyone else knows other sites then let me know so I can add them. - Please tag everything accordingly! Do not censor trigger warnings, this isn't tiktok, censoring things isn't going to get filtered out so if your work includes gore please make sure to tag it for that, does it contain blood? tag it for blood, violence? tag it for violence etc etc. I could be mistaken so please do correct me on what is the most preffered/used tag for content/trigger warnings! - Do NOT use this hastag to spread hate or negativity, if you don't like problematic content, or don't like Belos that's fine. Just block this tag and if you see someone posting in the wrong tag just point them to this tag. - If you are an anti or anti supporter, do not interact with this tag at all, you don't like ANY problematic (including but not limited to: gore, murder, violence, etc) content that's fine, this is not for you. Again there is an alternative hastag for only strictly unproblematic Belos content use that one if dark themes aren't your thing. Remember: Liking villains isn't a crime, liking dark fiction isn't a crime, liking dark themes isn't a crime. You are not a bad person for enjoying any of this regardless if it's to cope or just to explore taboo topics, this is a safe space.

I can’t stop crying, I’ve lost more friends in Gaza… yet so many Christian evangelicals have yet to even mention that Christians in Gaza exist. Or if they do, it’s criticism and blaming Gaza for the genocide that’s happening. It’s as if they fully believe it’s a Jew/Muslim conflict when it’s not. It’s an idf-Hamas conflict.
I lost contact with one of my friends and haven’t been able to get any info. The terror keeps coming. And there was no where to go, it hurts. And I’m so angry at that Christians in the west just ignoring it all
.......... I'm really sorry anon...
I've never felt that powerless in my life, and my heart aches for all those people being murdered before our eyes, and the Christian community either condoning such heinous act or turning the head around... They will have to take accountability for their cowardice....
The body of Christ is ONE. If someone cuts your leg or hand, you will definitely feel it and your whole body is going to react to it. But Western Christians? They look away like the cowards that they are. Mind you, they are the same ones that are so suuuuure to resist the antichrist when he will come. Meanwhile, they are unable to voice the slightest support to our Christian brothers in Palestine out of fear... What kind of clownery is that? At least, I don't mind people refusing to cover any sort of world news bc they are consistent in their lane, but I'm thinking about all those Christians who have aaaaaalways so many things to say abt the latest stupid stunt in the news, the wokes, feminists, liberals... Suddenly they are VERY quiet. That's a choice. They are disgusting.
Even the anti Muslim/let's protect Christianism from Islam uwu Christian YouTuber squad are pulling out video exPoSinG Hamas while not saying a single word abt the Christian casualties (David Wood, Apostate Prophet, etc.) They are full of it, and I will never ever again take them seriously in their defense of Christianity in middle east when those ghouls don't even have a word to say about our Palestinian Christian brothers dying under Israeli strikes and PLEADING for our attention and prayers... They only care about Christians dying because of ISLAM, when they die for any other reason, they will defiect. Like, yeah, Hamas sucks - we been knew. What's the point of making 1 video a day about them? In what way does it remotely dismiss the atrocity of whatever's happening in Gaza???
It's so sick to see pro Israel constantly move the goalpost to paint themselves as the only victims, and worse, downplaying what's happening in Gaza.
They will deflect on antisemitism in pro Palestine protests (while acting like the very same didn't happen in pro Israel protests with the most rabid islamophobic genocidal crap), semantics about what Zionism is and whether it's antisemitism (meanwhile palestinians are literally DYING), that they don't care about Gaza as long as the hostage aren't fred (when if they actually really cared abt the hostages they wouldn't encourage Israel to bomb Gaza bc the actual hostages risk dying out there along the Hamas...🤦🏾‍♀️), or shouting "free Gaza from Hamas !!" as if any of that justified bombing civilians... oh and let's not forget the feminist/liberal edge of Israel defense with the "Palestianian are sexist/homophobic so there's no point defending them" stupid narrative....
I think the reason pro Israel are so bad in their rhetoric is that for years they've been used to leverage their Jewishness to get empathy and immunity against accountability.
But it's over now. We have social medias and we can witnessing in real time the horror of Tsahal actions. How they aren't any morally better than Hamas. We've seen the Israeli mocking Palestianians nit having water or food...
"you were quiet when the Hamas assassinated Israelis" we were quiet because this operation went so fast and that Israel quickly retaliated. There was no way to stop the Hamas bc NO ONE knew it was coming, so what did they expect us to do?? Just bc we don't say anything doesn't mean we approve. Do you see people condemn suicide/terrorist attacks whenever they happen?? IMO there wouldn't be such an outrage is Israel left it at that and didn't go overboard with launching a whole war against Gaza. The reason the world is siding with Palestinian is because we are witnessing the ongoing massacre of population with the actual (political and/or economical) backup of our respective countries for DAYS now. Unlike the Hamas attack, there are ways to stop it. The Hamas didn't cut the water & food supply of Israelis. Palestinians aren't clowning on social medias the Jewish civilians who were killed by the Hamas. That's why the world is shocked and is siding with Palestine and is slowly but surely getting fed up with the cognitive dissonance of Israelis crying oppression while acting like soulless ghouls. Crying antisemitism isn't fooling anyone anymore.

Hils Watches The King's Avatar - Ep 31
Tumblr media
LOL one speech from Ye Xiu and all his antis now love him. If only it worked like that in real life
Tumblr media
A good message that if you only play the way the fans like you won't win
Tumblr media
Oh they are going to regret that when they realise that actually their idol is a total gremlin
Tumblr media
Even Ye Xiu knows that is not going to go down well. He knows what a little shit he is
Tumblr media
Okay I know it makes sense to jump ahead in time given that there's only 10 eps left but we could at least have had a little montage of them winning their other games
Tumblr media
The sheer balls on this dude to suggest their teams 'merge' by which he means they get all the good Team Happy players and Team Happy gets...nothing? Yeah, no.
Tumblr media
Oh fuck off
Tumblr media
Of course Ye Xiu is listening. I hope he puts this dude in his place. Or, even better, I hope Chen Guo does
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Yessssss
Tumblr media
Aww yay they've got fans now!
Tumblr media
Baozi don't walk towards the poisonous fog!
Tumblr media
DON'T TOUCH IT!
Tumblr media
Ooh is the other team cheating? Are they going to report it even though it would benefit them if Team Happy loses? Good sportsmanship trumps team rivalries!
Tumblr media
Oh they've got someone feeding them the other team's positions! The dirty cheating bastards!
Tumblr media
Oh come on there's cheating and then there's pulling out cables so you don't lose. Surely they didn't think they'd actually get away with this.
Tumblr media
Okay, 1. Any network engineer including me who is not a network engineer can tell when a cable has been deliberately pulled out. 2. Why the hell isn't the network room monitored? 3. A 10 second rewind in the even of a technical problem is a bullshit rule
Tumblr media
I'm pretty sure you have more than one option but okay
Tumblr media
This absolutely does not condone their cheating but what kind of bullshit is 'if you don't win this one game against the tied best team in the league we're pulling your funding'. It makes no sense!
Tumblr media

they even have factive,,, as a tag,,, I I'm under the assumption that your source is one of various murderers and just having your name doesn't hurt anyone unless the astronomically low likelihood that you join a server with a family member of a victim people are allowed to be uncomfy they have right to their emotions but it's incredibly shitty to make it your problem "proud" homie they're just existing
This is Anxiety's boyfriend. He's a little tired and I wanted to answer one. Hope you don't mind.
We do happen to be based on a murderer.
As the more source connected one, I want to clarify that real life people killing real life people is bad. I happen to be more like my source, thst doesn't mean I condone nonfiction murder.
One thing Anxiety wanted to touch on was victim mentality and I think this ask is a good place to mention it.
First and foremost. Anxietys bot doesn't have his full name, just his first name, whereas mine has my first and last name, so if we were in a server with a family member of a victim, they'd see a picture of a movie portrayal and my first name assuming it's my boyfriend talking (which it normally is) They would still have the right to be upset absolutely, especially if they recognize the portrayal, but I mean like
Before we formed, the system was also made uncomfortable by introjects of this person. We would never say to the face of someone anything like what that person has said to me, but, we are bodily within the minorities that were affected by this man. It can be a little scary.
I bring this up because, had, instead of saying the arguable entitled, "He makes me uncomfortable" the person would have said something along the lines of, "As someone who is POC, it makes uncomfortable" it would have made a lot more sense.
I can't assume anything for any of the three people who were rude to me today, I do not know their races, ages, sexual orientations, their families or anything that could possibly relate them to who my source is based on. What I do know is that they all felt like my presence was attacking them. They felt victimized by me (/my boyfriend). And not once did they give an actual valid reason for that. "He makes me uncomfortable" Talk about the victims. Talk about how your life was affected by being ____ in a post [insert person] world.
By complaining and making this about themselves, all these people are doing is taking attention AWAY from the actual victims and their families.
In my opinion at least.

I understand the sentiment that shipping-neutral people have of "shipping discourse is meaningless outside of the internet" because to a degree they're right, but 1) that doesn't mean it isn't an issue worth talking about, and 2) antis are still more than happy to ruin you by doxxing you, encouraging you to self harm or commit suicide, calling up your place of work to accuse you of possessing CSEM, sending you triggering content, and using slurs and hateful language, because they somehow think it's justified to do all that over some drawings and/or fanfics they think are yucky. And all that isn't even taking into account how badly they wanna censor everything, how they're essentially the brand new "comics and video games are turning the children into violent murderers."
So while it's true that to the average person doesn't give a fuck about shipping discourse, and that not everybody has to fall neatly onto one side or the other, it's not the discourse itself that worries me. I think I speak for a lot of pro-shippers when I say that the actual concern we have is the harassment that antis love to participate in so much. The reason I say that being an anti is synonymous with being pro-harassment is because you can't really separate the two. You might be an anti that chooses not to harass anyone, but you still sit at the anti-shipping table with people who condone and often endorse harassment. Antis who say "oh but I don't agree with the harassment" don't do anything more proactive than just ignoring the harassment when it happens, so it runs absolutely rampant in anti-shipping circles and has abso-fucking-lutely become the expectation and the standard for how antis interact with pro-shippers (and shipping-neutral people as well).
It's been said before, but if you find yourself thinking "these ships with upsetting elements to them make me uncomfortable, but I know that they're not real and the people who ship them aren't doing so because it reflects the kinds of things they want to happen in real life, and being a hateful piece of shit to them is wrong" you are very likely not an anti but shipping-neutral and that's ok (although antis typically harbor a lot of animosity towards shipping-neutral people as well so welcome to the club). If you're thinking "I would never personally go harass someone over their disgusting yucky problematic ships, but it's ok if other people do because clearly those freaks deserve it", maybe consider fucking off.

These fans are mad that the writers are lame af because ain't no way they've never imagined they wouldn't do characters dirty for no reason before lol
In all honesty ...
I've never seen anyone or anything get so goddamn feral, so quickly, in my life, than the HOTD fandom did.
We all sort of eased back into the franchise at first after being incredibly let down and betrayed. Then from 1x03-1x05 it was like being a part of the GOT fandom again with funny memes and joking around. People slowly falling in love with Alicent and kinda liking young Rhaenyra. All of us agreeing that Matt Smith is a great actor.
Then, around 1x06 to current day, everyone just lost their goddamn mind.
Suddenly there's this weird cult like hate or adoration of Alicent. Fucking Rhaenyra stans out here screaming the condoning for the murder of children and the need for it. You can't even praise Jaehaera - a sweet and innocent little girl - and wish that she get better treatment without some creepy losers shitting themselves in anger over it.
I was on discord earlier and I was showing them the kind of deranged asks that people send into my inbox and it was a large topic of conversation between people - some who may or may not work on HOTD in some capacity or another - about the level of vitriol and rage that cropped up out of absolutely nowhere.
Reddit is a hive of buzzing angry hornets at the best of times, but the level of hatred and anger in the ASoIaF fandom is just unreal and everyone who is a fan and even people who work on the show are noticing it.
I've got this major fucking loser we were making fun of today who is so fucking pissed off because I have a pet theory of A+C=D and they're so angry and offended by it that they hate read my blog and act like one of those sad pathetic "Reply guys" on twitter at every post.
There's also this person who we tracked down and whose blog we all had a good laugh at reading, who sends absolute vitriolic asks because they refuse to believe that Jessica Brown Findlay was originally cast to play Alys Rivers. There is all sorts of evidence from both Olivia Cooke and Phia Saban following her on Instagram, to the head costume designer and several directors from season 2 following her on instagram, to her even liking several instagram posts from the Costume Designer about cast fittings before someone on twitter noticed and she unliked everything.
But still, this person truly believes that if she "Stans" the replacement actress for Alys, that she's somehow a good and righteous person that can claim internet points for being the first stan.
And I think that's the weird part about this whole thing with fandom that we were talking about.
There's people in this fandom, on Twitter and Reddit, that somehow equate their favs to be linked to some sort of real life virtue. That there some sort of moral equivalency test to liking an aspect or character of this goddamn show. And if you fail it or don't line up you're not just against the tribe, you're all and all evil.
And it's so fucking wild how a fandom went from fun crank theories about Varys being a Mermaid to being evil and awful, because, you talked to someone who was around the volume for Pre-viz who heard something at lunch and you relay what they heard to someone who asked what the word is in the gossip mills these days.
Even when you preface and epilogue the post with it being a rumor and probably not true, they still gnash their teeth and post on Twitter and Reddit trying to get a hate mob together to come after your blog.
Mutha'fucker, I'm a 33 year old man who has been shot at and been in life or death fist fights with dudes twice my size.
All I have to do to kick your ass is ignore an app for a few days while I finish a chapter and watch retro anime and Downton Abbey.
Either way, it's crazy out here, Nonny.
Get strapped and stay vigilante, the hoard of rage zombies are out in force.

Vegas Theerapanyakul, an accidental queer icon - a surprisingly serious essay
When i was around 14/15 years old i read this book trilogy called All For The Game and quickly became obssessed with this character called Andrew Minyard. He was this very short and angry gay goalie for a team of an imaginary sport that made absolutely no fucking sense. He was severely traumatized due to several happenings in his life and also kind of a dick.
Andrew is known for being a pretty problematic character but also a huge fan favorite.
Why is that?
Well, one quick look at the people making him a fan favorite will tell you the answer to that right away. Like me, most of those people were traumatized queer teens who had grown up feeling like they were incurable monsters. Who went through queerphobic trauma that they could barely even name. And just like no one cared about whether Andrew was okay, beacause “who gives a shit about how this freak feels”, no one cared about how us little freaks felt.
I don't condone half the things Andrew does and i think he's kind of insane most of the time, but i get him.
I get why he's angry.
I get why he doesn't trust anyone
I get why he's so hesitant to allow himself to be less miserable
I GET IT
And that's so important for a character!
It doesn't matter if he's likeable or not, it matters if i understand him.
So recently becoming obssessed with Kinnporsche i can't stop myself from seeing a bunch of traumatised queers flocking to Vegas and not think about this.
If any of you reading this have consumed both contents you're probably dying inside a little due to the comparison considering Andrew would probably love to murder Vegas very slowly as he is a victim of SA and is highly prone to homicide, and while that's true i still think the comparison in regards to the effects they seem to have in a certain group is very valid.
While many of the people i've seen obssessd with Vegas are cishets who wanna pretend he can do no wrong because of his trauma, a considerable amount are queer people who carry extensive trauma and a history as victims of abuse and who are fighting everyday to feel like they have control over who they are. Just like Vegas, who, through making himself the abuser, tries to regain the control that has been taken away from him from a very young age.
Vegas wasn't born out of nothing, he was made.
The Vegas we know in the timeline of the show is a monster created through lack of sexual agency, physical and psychological abuse, homophobic abuse (something i don't think enough people talk about) and loss. And when you stop to think about it, all those things (but the homophobia) are the same violences he extends onto others.
Obviously i'm not saying that it's okay for him to do this just because it's a product of his own trauma but it's important to understand these things about him because if we don't all we do is make him into a caricature villain (more of an antagonist than a villain but anyways) and consequently erase the very cruel reality of his existence as a character that in some ways represents so many people.
For many people (queer or not, but for the sake of this essay we're focusing on queer people) trauma doesn't make us into sad but gentle messes. No, many of us are just plain assholes because of it. Many of us are mean and toxic and that isn't a reality that can be erased just beacause it's uncomfortable to acknowledge.
Andrew being a complete dick who's snappy and too hard to handle was so real for so many people and seeing him be loved was so important. Seeing him be that traumatized and thinking “damn i guess i'm not the only one” was such a defining thing for many of us.
So in the same way, Vegas constantly trying to seek the control that's been taken away from him his whole life (even if in the worst possible ways), putting on a mask in front of everyone because he knows they can't handle his true self, not having any idea how the fuck to even try to love someone because no has ever tried loving him, and getting into a relationship in an incredibly questionable way because that’s the only kind of way someone that fucked up could possibly fathom getting into a relationship, that shit's bound to hit hard for queer people.
When you stop to think about it, we have historically related to the worst kinds of people, in part because of situations like the hays code that only allowed queer rep through lenses that painted us in a negative light, but also in part because we have been pushed to the role of monsters outside of fiction aswell.
Monsters
Sinners
Perverts
Aberrations
Freaks
Degenerates
Depraved
We are called those things so often we start sympathizing with it.
And i know for many queer people what they need is to distance themselves from that and relate to much more positive representations of queerness but to others that's never gonna be enough. For so many of us the guy making the absolute worst fucking decisions so he can feel like he owns his life is the one that’s gonna really make us feel seen.
I love me some nice and sweet queer rep but i only truly see myself in the sad, miserable, toxic queers (read These Violent Delights by Micah Nemerever yall). And that rep HAS TO EXIST regardless of whether people think it “makes queer people look bad”. Of course it makes queer people look bad, but it's not the toxic queer rep that is at fault for that, but our queerphobic social structures that make so queer people are only allowed to exist with some semblance of dignity if they pass a moral test.
Queer representation shouldn’t have to follow a certain rigid morale to be deemed acceptable.
Vegas and Andrew’s existence shouldn’t tarnish queer people’s image because we’re not some organization where one person gets to be our representative and we shouldn’t be held to this ridiculously high standard of human experience.
And, like i touched on before, if we ignore these forms of queer existence we erase a whole group of very much real people who have very much real struggles, as uncomfortable as they may be to explore.

Okay I really have to know: why don't you think that fiction affects reality?
TL;DR Answer: Because it fucking doesn't. Game of Thrones was/is a long running series that was super popular for good chunk of time and hasn't normalized incest, rape, or murder. IT is a fairly popular horror novel, but it hasn't normalized child rape gangbangs. Twilight hasn't normalized creepy stalking and obsessive love. Lolita hasn't normalized paedophilia.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Ok. Look. Fiction does affect reality and reality does affect fiction. But it's not in the way you guys are saying.
If you're an adult, you should be capable of knowing when something is fiction and when something is reality.
If you're not an adult, get the fuck off the internet. Seriously.
Darkfic exists to help people explore the negative aspects of life. It helps rape/abuse/CSE victims understand what happened to them and understand that what happen to them was not their fault. It gives people an avenue to explore these topics without actual people getting hurt.
I mean, fucking hell, Mortal Kombat is a long running very violent video game series. But everyone knows Mortal Kombat is fucking fiction. It hasn't normalized violence. It hasn't even inspired violence. It's a fighting game. It allows people to release pent up aggression.
That's why we keep stressing that
This is fucking fiction. No actual people are getting hurt.
Just because we like dark content in fiction doesn't mean we condone it in real life.
You...do understand #2, right? Because that goes back to the whole thing about adults being able to separate fiction from reality.
If you're not capable of separating fiction from reality, you really should get off the internet and get therapy because you have a serious problem.
And if Darkfic isn't to your taste, that's 100% ok. We all have shit we won't read. I myself am not a fan of harlequin romance novels.
But the way to handle this is basically - Don't Like, Don't Read. Just block us, block the tags, and move the fuck on with your lives. Don't talk to us. Don't acknowledge us. Don't send us anons.
And Pro-Tip: if you don't mass report us, we won't get deleted. So we won't have to remake. So you won't have to block us again. 😘
