EVIL ART STYLE CHALLENGE

I actually finished this about 2 weeks ago, but struggled with what to do for the background… then finals happened

My attempt at the evil art style challenge.

I tried to follow these rules: sketchy lineart, round shapes/lines, big round eyes (without eyelashes ☹️) , and non-blended shading.

I wasn’t sure what to do for colors cuz my color palettes are all over the place, but I tried to use less saturated colors with warmer undertones cuz I feel like I tend to default to cooler colors I guess.

one thing that stands out to me about your style is that it really does look like it's done in strokes of ink; sometimes the lines cross a little outside where the feature they're representing would be (like the wraps on donnie's bo), or one stroke is distinguishable from another because they meet at different thicknesses. i hope that's remotely helpful lmao

also, there's a crease at the corner of the mouth that i particularly associate with your art. the little ^ when they're laughing or insanely stressed or both

Thanks for all the input!! From what I got, my style is pretty line heavy, so I tried to go right for a more color-blocking style, with softer shapes! This was fun!

my requirements were:

- simple coloring

- no noise filter

- thick lines

- no orange lighting/tints

- no hard shading

- no curly hair

- no dark lighting

- no muted colors

- ⁠no parallel lines on cheek

- ⁠not s6/s4 gi
