Please note that I'm not speaking for all writers when I say this, but if you're thinking of commenting on a fic you really liked, please do not put, "Part 2?????????????" or any of the derivatives.
You'll never know it if you're not a writer, but it takes a lot of work to finish something as little as 3,000 words. Majority of the longer fics I've posted on here took a minimum of eight months to finish. So to put in all that work only for people to ask me to put in more work is exhausting to read.
I write primarily for myself. I choose to share it because I think others may enjoy it too. Being consistently asked for a part 2 on oneshot fics makes me feel like I'm a fast food server, like it's my job to take your orders and serve the public. My writing, to you, is not an art to appreciate, but a commodity to fill your stomach.
If you're going to leave a comment on anyone's fic, say that you liked it. If you're feeling wordy, tell the author the things you enjoyed about it or what it made you think or feel. Trust me, that is far more flattering than demanding a sequel without anything else. And for my works, if asking for a sequel is the only thing you have to say, I'd really rather you just say nothing at all.

Okay but that scene at the end where Crowley felt insulted at the insinuation he would want to be an angel again. The way it would be described as going back to the “way it was.” That feels exactly like how people my mom said my arm could just “go back to normal” or “get better” after I became physically disabled.

Sure my arms gotten more stable but it’s never been the same since that stress injury. I’m not the same person either. Getting my disability amidst a life crisis and becoming a different & more healthy person isn’t something I would ever want to change. If I had to do it over I wouldn’t change a damn thing, I’m better for the experiences I’ve gotten & things I’ve learned from the whole ordeal. I’m better disabled now than I was pre-physical disability. I’m a better off person even if it makes a few things not so convenient for me.

LET ME BE CLEAR! I’m not saying that Aziraphale is being ableist here. That whole scene and sequence was amazing. I’m saying that the vibes of that interaction are similar to interactions I’ve had IRL as a disabled person. People often don’t take into consideration our own feelings about our identities when making suggestions about our lives! Able-bodied people (angels) also often view us (demons) as “burdens” on society and “lesser.”

Hi! I don't know if you check your notes on here, but I added some information about visceral body fat to your tutorial zine that I think would be really helpful for people. It's a factor that's always left out of the conversation when people talk about the appearance of body fat and I think that's just because nobody knows about it!
hi! i appreciate your input! just wanted to clarify something in what your tags mentioned. i understand that my tutorial wasn’t very inclusive towards amab body types (and that fatpos tutorials usually lean toward afab representation, which i agree) but that’s mainly because i was 17 when i made that post and didn’t have as wide a lens artistically or observationally as i do now. i’m working on creating a sequel tutorial including the difference between visceral/sebaceous fat, and i loved your addition on it. i definitely didn’t intend to exclude fat amab folks from my post, that just wasn’t something i felt knowledgeable enough to speak on, drawing from my lived experience. obviously to improve my work i’ve studied more extensively since then, and i hope my next tutorial will be full of more updated info and new contexts. <3 but of course thanks for adding it on, all of the additions (except for fatphobic people) on that post are wonderful! i’ll make sure to include this in the next one ^^/

Yeah. I think it's already foreshadowed and established as a main theme of the story. The League is getting saved, but I reckon that won't play out like a redemptive arc à la Enji with atonement on the League's side, per se. Thematically, it's the hero kids who need to "redeem", so to say, the concept of heroism itself and prove that someone who can actually call themself a hero doesn't just punch their way to victory, but also makes room to save. That was the lesson from the whole first half of the manga (explored through Deku and Bakugou's respective mindsets and flaws), and it already came up again in the final arc; if punching bad guys to win was enough to wrap up the story, Katsuki wouldn't have gotten his heart exploded, and if separating them to fight them better was a solution, the Sad Girl Parade never would've happened.
The villains are getting redeemed in the sense that they will be made to discard their villain aliases and to leave their bloodlust behind them. Putting them in jail or killing them wouldn't solve the knots the story already set up, and it would contradict the early lesson that a complete hero is someone who knows when to punch to win, yes, but also when to save to win. That's what the story is asking from the protagonists. Become the type of heroes who extend help even to those who don't want it. Even to those who are "too far gone" because where there was a crying child begging for a hero's help once, there is still a person within reach even now (thematically represented with the returning motif of the kids version of the characters). Returning—or staying true—to your origins is the biggest theme of the story so far, and there's a clear pattern where this applies to the villains as well.

something I should have added actually, cause in hindsight it's pretty vital to the problem I had with it, is the tags I saw ended with "unless they think likes do something here" which pretty much confirms that the person who wrote those thinks the universal experience of using tumblr is to circulate content for high traction and clout.
the growing emotional dependency on the numbers game is like, really ruining the fun of microblogging/social media, because it's being reinforced to us that the "goal" of being online is to produce some kind of content, make your notifications go up and be seen by as many people as possible. and it will never be enough. I've seen artists who consistently hit 10k interactions take the occasional dip, agonise over the idea that they did something wrong (even if the number's still relatively high), then admit to how bad their response to "low" engagement makes them feel, because at one stage just a few hundred would have made them happy. but that the novelty soon wore off, and they got addicted.
