I have so many thoughts about Senju Tobirama. so many.

He's albino, so his eyesight sucks ass and that's the main reason his chakra sensing is so highly developed.

He's like Toph but with water, and also able to see coloured blurry blobs.

Bright light hurts his eyes and can cause migraines.

He gets sunburned so SO easily, and his skin is sensitive to certain materials.

Only has half-siblings because Butsuma was not very loyal to his actual wife, but it was ignored so long as Butsuma brought them into the family.

Altogether Butsuma had eight kids; Hashirama (the only actual legitimate child & full-blood Senju), Tobirama and Kawarama (half-Hatake fraternal twins), Itama (non-clan civilian mother), Ichigo (half-Uzumaki half-Hatake mother), Sado (Senju mother), Karin (civilian Nara mother), and Yuzu (Shiranui mother).

Ichigo is two years older than Hashirama and Sado, and Itama, Karin, and Yuzu are all the same age.

Ichigo was able to take Sado, Yuzu, and Karin to Uzushio to keep them safe but Butsuma caught on and almost cut his head off when he tried to take Itama.

Tobirama is autistic. He is so autistic, trust me bro. He sucks at expressing and identifying emotions (both his and others), and it doesn't help that he has resting bitch face. Anyways, it's because he's autistic that he's practically immune to genjutsu bc his brain is wired differently.

Sometimes, he just gotta scream, or just make noise.

Hashirama has and will grow cotton specifically for Tobirama because he thinks it's a Good Texure. His clothes are soft cotton, his blanket is soft cotton, his futon is soft cotton, every cloth piece is soft cotton because it's a very easy gift for holidays because it's very well known.

Hated shoes as a toddler, and absolutely refused to wear them. he still prefers to walk around barefoot if he can get away with it.

His armor is actually heavier than normal Senju armor bc he likes the weight, it's calming, like his dry bean weighted blanket that Sado and Hashirama made him.

Uses his fur mantle as Good Texure, and will fiddle with it and tug on it if he feels safe. Torifu and Kagami find this very charming.

Will only ever write with chakra-infused ink because that's the only way he can read, through his sensing.

Has, on more than one occasion, told someone to shut up even though they weren't talking, because they were thinking so much it was affecting their chakra, which came across as 'noisy' to Tobi's senses.

Could not feasibly live alone, it would be too quiet to his senses and drive him insane. Once Hashi and Mito get married he moves in with Touka.

Suiton natured, he's figured out how to boil and freeze water by adding and removing energy, which entirely changed the games he could play. with that chakric law broken, he starts breaking more because "why not?"

He then figured out how to: mummify a body by sucking all the moisture out of them, drown someone on land by directing fluid to their lungs, boil someone from the inside out, turn someone into a pincushion by freezing their blood, and tear the blood out of someone's body. the only prerequisite to any of these techniques is to touch the target and create a "backdoor" for his chakra to enter their body.

Hamato Leonardo, also known as Leo (or Nardo, blue guy, Hero boy and Fun-police) is the eldest son of Splinter and the most traditional of his brothers, taking both his training and the prophecy very seriously, studying his families history in detail to please his father and ancestors, to become the ultimate warrior. Due to being the eldest and resembling Splinters younger self, Leo is the golden child and despite him denying it, it’s very clear that Splinter favorites Leo, often training with him, teaching moves and wisdom he would never show his other sons. Due to this, Leo has developed quite the denial and perfectionist complex, in his eyes he always has to be good at everything no matter what while both Splinter and his ancestors teachings/the prophecy can never do anything wrong and should always be followed no matter how wrong they sound - even if it means to hurt those close. 

As the eldest, Leo is also destined to become the deity of the body, gaining powers that strengthen his body and give him abilities like super strength or lightning speed which he has a hard time controlling at first, which frustrates him a lot. While he is very skilled with his swords, the bow and arguably the best fighter on the team when it comes to weaponry, Leo isnt as coordinated when it comes to fighting with only his fists which is a bit unfortunate considering his powers.

Being Leader, Leo is the calm and responsible one, taking missions very seriously and always prepared with a plan though he can get really irritated when his brothers dont immidiatly follow his lead, question his plans (especially Raph whom he gets into fights a lot) and goof around as he really never allows himself to be a kid. However, he is very much a nerd, specifically he’s really into old, awful cartoons and anime even writing self-insert fanfiction about him and his cartoon heroes, whom he tries to imitate a lot, going on adventures (and dates) among other things. Literature was always one of his interests, spending hours reading not only comics but thick books, mostly about space, autobiographies or japanese myths/legends while also occasionally writing poems he comes up with when he meditates. Just like Donnie, Leo is fluent in japanese and watches a lot of his shows in its original language while getting writing lessons from Splinter. Leo’s music taste is also very much influenced by his father, listening to japanese folk songs - though he does have a soft spot for j-pop and Vocaloid.

A few other fun facts about the boy in blue:

He only wears the scarf because the texture of it makes him very comfortable and also because it makes a good cape

Very sensitive tongue, any food texure his tongue doesnt like makes him immidiatly gag

Stims by flapping his hands and sometimes does a happy little jig when he gets excited - he is however very embarressed by it, even telling his brothers to stop doing their own thing (like Raph tapping his feet/ drumming)

Can absolutly not interact with people he’s crushing on, like his brain will enter gay-panic-mode and shut down, thats why he prefers to crush on cartoon characters instead

Really tries to avoid April because she’s nothing but trouble, however she is the first person Leo will go to when he has a problem/secret he cant tell Splinter about

Leo’s favorite brother is Donnie, they often hang out and talk about literature and plans while listening to hyperpop Vocaloid songs, Mickey is his second favorite and while they dont activly hang out together they do occasionally talk about cartoons and Leo does appreciate the hug attacks his younger borther is known to do, Raph and Leo often fight due to their different views on the prophecy, Raph’s overall attidute and disrespect towards his leadership and the family tradition - though when they do get a long its mostly over movies and which fictional character is cooler

Also, once Karai gets recruited into the family, Leo and her hang out constantly, training together and confide in each other - she would definitly help him be less serious and probably give him some dating advice from one gay to the other while talking about the latest shows and whatever horrible anime Karai found on the internet that they will definitly not be obsessed with for at least a week.

Chicken Pot Pie Recipe

I wanted to share my secret chicken pot pie recipe because I'm having a really bad day and wanted to spread some joy. It has a wonderful fall feel and a wonderful surprise of tart apples and I hope it will brighten your day.

Filling: 1 chicken leg + wing + drummette 1 granny smith or pink lady apple 1 red potato 3tbs butter 3tbs flour 1 bunch beech mushrooms 3 sticks celery 1 large carrot + greens 1 small white or yellow onion or shallot 3 cloves garlic 1 cup milk 1tsp salt (to taste) 1tsp dried herbs (to taste) 1tsp white or black pepper (to taste)

Boil chicken for 15mins in minimal water Remove from water and allow to cool - Do Not Discard broth Chop vegetables & apple and dice onion & potato Peel, crush, and chop garlic  Remove chicken from bones and shred

Make a roux (brown butter in pan, add flour and whisk, add milk) Add chicken broth to roux and simmer until thickened Add vegetables, potato, apple, and chicken meat  Simmer and thicken, keeping an eye on it while you make the crust

Crust:  1/2 cup butter 2 cups flour 1/4tsp baking powder

Mix flour and butter in a large mixing bowl, texure should be pliable and not sticky Divide into two portions, 2/3 & 1/3 Roll thin on a floured cutting board

Making up: Butter and flour pie tin and cover larger peice Fill with thickened filling Cover with smaller peice Make several knife slashes in cover to vent steam Bake for 15-25 minutes or until browned (filling is already cooked)

I reccommend serving with a glass of sparkling cider (hard or NA) and baked apples make a wonderful desert after this, which is a recipe I can also share.

He digests people whole slowly like a snake. It's a bit like being melted in acid over an hour plus but it's also unnaturally freezing in there.

Though with her I imagine it's also of a mental exercise itself, savouring the texure of the wrinkles on her tongue, seeing if she can gleam anything from the experience. I'd like to think that to her the brains of people she's used her power on have a better flavor since the thoughts and emotions she froze burst to life one last time before they're consumed.

The ribs and she does it the same way people do! Covered in so much, way too much sauce. It's very barbque dad core! A close second for her is the skin, it's crispy and portable snack while she's out keeping watch for the animals that live near the North Pole, plus the reindeer are carnivorous little fuckers. It helps them bond.

This is one of my favorite answers because of how messed up the reason behind it is. Juno loves a good eyeball. It's a measly little morsel but its a signature of their special "movies." To signal each victims closing curtain they lift up their mask, snake their tongue past the eyeball into each socket, and sucks the eyes right out of said persons skull before they suck out the last of their life.

Grim Iteiya was not born on the Source. His story begins in a shard all but devoid of aether, where none could use it - the Ninth. Magicless, the Ninth developed rather like our own world. And then, one day, what felt like yet another panic attack turned into being dropped onto the Source.

Gender: None gender, left he; He/They pronouns Height: ~6'1; tall for Veena Eyes: Steely blue, more grey than blue, and nearly white even so. Hair: Medium brown, it naturally fades to a soft spring-y green after a few inches. Thin strands that grow in thick, leading to an almost fur-like texure. Unbound, it likes to frizz out to shoulder width. Tends towards wavy bordering on banana curls. Complexion: Porcelain pale with an almost unnoticable blue undertone. A scattering of starry freckles. Tends towards dry skin, but hates the feel of lotion and thus deals with being a crocodile. Artistically, the freckles are rendered as almost luminescent. For the aesthetic. Physique: Being brought to Eorzea meant he threw himself into taking care of himself and becoming combat fit. As a result, he’s quite muscular. Tends to move like he’s much smaller than he actually is, though. Age: 30-ish; due to Viera aging he’s closer to his early 20s physically, and struggling with emotional regulation. Soul Color: Pthalo green, a dark but vibrant forest green. Mains: AST / DRK / NIN / DNC / RDM Secondaries: CNJ, GNB, MRD, THA, RPR

Grim was a fan of a game very close to XIV in his home shard, and generally knows the story up to the end of post-Stormblood, around the time Gaius passed Alphinaud over to the care of the WOL, unless the verse is explicitly post-Endwalker, in which case he’ll be caught up as of the rp’s start date. This means plot events usually won’t surprise him, but he does his level best to not assume that everything he knows from the game is exactly correct. After all, who doesn’t embellish a story a bit in the telling? - Not to mention, his memory is kind of shite; he doesn’t remember everything, and certainly not perfectly.

Grim is never a lone WoL. If your muse isn’t a WoL, Grim shares the role with Dove, and appeared at the same time Hydaelyn sent the Warriors of DorknessDarkness back to the First. This exchange may have been orchestrated by Elidibus, in a bid to create a weakness to be exploited later. For other verses, see below.

Due to the nature of the Ninth, Grim initially has horrendous aether sickness as his soul adjusts to the sudden influx of aether. Combined with his aetherial block and tendency to accumulate aether as a result, it’s imperative Grim immediately either take up a casting class - usually CNJ - or find another way to bleed off the excess aether until he can break down the block [RPR and GNB].

Is Grim a self-insert? Eh, shrug. While I use myself as a jumping off point for pre-Eorzea Grim, once he’s on the Source, he’s very much his own dude. I’m not going to force anyone to interact with him if they’re not interested, though, we’re all here to have a good time.

Starting The Magic: How to Start Planning for Disneyland!

Disclaimer: I'm not a travel agent, Annual Passholder, cast member or associated with the Disney company in any way. The views, as with everything on my blog, expressed here are my own and how I personally begin to plan and will follow through planning. This is to help those who have no idea where to start. Planning is overwhelming. I go into far too much detail with planning, starting a year or more in advance as it's entertaining for me and take a lot of the anxiety out of the trip. I enjoy it and thus spend too much time doing it. I hope that what I have found will help others and reduce the stress of planning their own Disneyland vacations.

You've gone ahead and chosen Walt's original park to have your next vacation - Disneyland in California! An excellent choice and one you won't regret (but who would regret a Disney vacation? Perhaps those who don't plan it properly!) That begs the question: now that you've chosen your destination, where do you begin?

Hi, I'm Aspi! I'm an avid Disneyland fanatic and the purpose of my blog is to share my own knowledge, experiences and mistakes so that you can learn from them and plan your own trip. I want to compile Disneyland tips, tricks, how-to's, suggestions and little bits of magic .. all while removing as much of the stress as possible to help your own trip. WHO'S COMING?

One of the most important things is to figure out who is coming, as the people you bring (as well as the number of them) will have the largest impact on the rest of the planning. They present the most variables you need to account for: scheduling, rides, food, budget and more. Everybody has their own way of doing things, so by planning and allowing for that, the process becomes that much easier. Far less meltdowns and stress and much more fun ahead!

When I planned for my sister and I back in 2018, I had no problem getting a rough draft of what to expect. Not only did we grow up together, we share many of the same interests and opinions on Disney and how we prefer our days to go. We know each other's strengths and weaknesses and what would be tough in the park, our sleeping and eating habits, staying all day, remaining in the "disney bubble" and the like! She's been to the park several times before, so it was easy for her to communicate what she did and didn't enjoy about her previous trips. With a year for me to plan, it was more than enough time to figure out what we didn't see eye to eye on and plan a vacation that would be magical - for the both of us! I'm happy to say it was a success, and it meant so much to me when she said I'd been her favourite to visit with and that our trip had been the most magical of all the others she'd been on. In fact, she was even bored of Disneyland and didn't want to go, she just wanted to spend time with me! Now she can't wait to go back.

This time around, I was in more of a pickle as I don't have that experience with the group I'm going with. I want to do for them what I did for my sister; make it magical and memorable. While I've known two of the people I'm travelling with for almost fifteen years, having gone with them to many anime conventions, I know Disneyland puts even the largest con to shame and poses bigger and different problems than struggling to put contacts in or staying up until 3AM to paint scales on a dress. The third person I'm friends with, but I've only known for about three years and haven't had the pleasure of going on a trip with or getting to know as well as I'd like to! I don't know the fourth at all and really wanted for us to connect and get a sense of how well everyone worked together and what their preferences were. More on this in a moment!

WHEN TO GO?

Fortunately for us, the time of year or the amount of days wasn't even a question! It was without hesitation that we wanted to experience the Halloween season and attend Oogie Boogie's Bash on the 31st, with 5 Day Park-Hoppers. Unfortunately, life goes as it does, and several factors such as COVID-19 and a wedding just made those dates not work for us. We've adjusted our dates and will now be visiting in early November, hopefully enjoying the first few days of the Christmas season.

In any other situation, the way I narrow down when to go is factored in by all of the following points, which makes it easy to choose the month and year. I don't tackle these things in specific order or worry about hte exact day, unless there's a specific celebration, as that is narrowed naturally by things like days off of work, openings in hotels, crowd levels, flight prices, Disney tickets, etc.

» Budgeting. Of course, this is a rough ballpark of what you want to spend. I take into account items to purchase as well such as clothes or shoes for the trip, food, tours, character dining, flights, hotel, transportation, gifts and merchandise. I find around $5,000 is my ideal budget without having to worry about money while I'm there and to be more than enough extra, including for emergencies or if something doesn't go as planned. Plus, it feels good to come home realizing you spent $1,500+ less than what you budgeted for! You want to find out what works for you. Take the time to browse prices, what interests you in the parks and how long it takes to raise what you can comfortably afford. It might be a few months, or even a few years. Keep in mind your budget may look different, as I may be interested in different things or you may be driving/have cheaper flights and may not need to factor in conversion rates if Disneyland isn't an international park for you. I'm Canadian, so this is something I need to keep in mind!

» Celebrations/Holidays. These are things that you would like to be, or not to be, in the park for. Consider birthdays, weddings, anniversaries, new ride or land openings, special parades and shows, park events such as Dapper Day, holidays and the like. One of our members comes from a military family, so wasn't wanting to be in the parks on Remembrance Day as it's an important day for her family if we could help it!

» Refurbishments. Consider attractions that would completely ruin your trip if they were unable to be ridden while you were there. I personally have six that I couldn't imagine not riding, but the only ones that would completely ruin my trip would be Indiana Jones and Pirates of the Carribbean. Indiana was originally planned for refurb in 2020, but due to COVID, I'm not expecting that to happen this year; if it did, I would re-schedule in a heartbeat. This happened to me with the Matterhorn in 2018, as I'd never ridden it before and wanted to! I also missed seeing Fantasmic as the last day it was available was our first day there. Make sure to check the schedules!

» Crowd Levels. This, I’m sure, is the major factor for most people. Nobody wants to be elbow-to-elbow walking from point A to point B; but it’s hard to say for sure what the park will be like on any given day. Fortunately for us, there’s plenty of tools out there to help you make educated estimates on levels. While my personal favourite is IsItPacked, you do need to take into account Public Holidays as well as thing like Events or Refurbishments and seasonal holidays such as spring break. There are many websites that have articles on the best and worst times to go, some of them being MouseSavers, IsItPacked, GetAwayToday and DisneyTouristBlog.

» Weather. I will likely lose a lot of you on this one as I don’t mind a rainy day or two or the colder weather and I find it much more comfortable than any amount of heat, but of course nobody likes to be out in line for two hours when it’s sweltering. Take the time to check historical averages and some information on Disneyland during different times of the year. Weather also affects what rides are operating and how long the parks are open, so do take that into account too!

WHERE TO STAY?

Disneyland currently offers three official hotels; Disneyland Hotel, Paradise Pier & the Grand Californian. However, there are many places to stay right across the street for just a fraction of the cost, some being even closer than the official hotels! With that, I think my opinion on the matter is pretty clear: I don't think it's worth it to stay on-property at Disneyland. Some say the benefits aren't worth losing, but other hotels offer similar amenities for a little extra (but still remain lower than the average night at a Disney hotel.) Some things may be done yourself in "DIY" fashion, or made up for in other areas!

» Extra Magic Hour. The perk of entering earlier every single day of your stay compared to entering early only once is easily made up for with a good itinerary and time management. If you are willing to fork over the extra money just for this, then I recommend the Max Pass as a still-cheaper and even better solution as you have access to all PhotoPass photos, including ride photos.

» Proximity. With the exception of the Grand Californian, several hotels are actually much closer to the parks. Those that aren't are only a few minutes more walking distance, may offer free or low-charge shuttles to and from the parks, or are only a $5-7 Uber ride away; all of which are cheaper than the average nightly rate.

» Theme. Personally, I was less than impressed with the Disneyland Hotel when I visited in 2018. After a meltdown where my sister ducked me into the nearest bathroom to calm down, I was a little disorientated and had to ask where we were.. because the themeing was just so minimal. Apart from the teacup-chairs and headboards in the rooms, the dark carpet and odd texures mixed with historical elements that I feel would be better off highlighted in a tour.. it just felt far too dirty, focusing on quantity rather than quality with no privacy in areas like the pool. It was disenchanting and unwelcoming in comparison to the gorgeous Majestic Garden, offering full-out castle themeing with a rose garden and koi pond, not to mention a fairytale surrounding the hotel with its own Princesses who wanders the halls and tells her story nightly by the fireside and even responds to letters. The Grand Californian was beautiful, but I feel the cost of staying is better put to use with more days in the park at an off-property hotel. We never visited Paradise Pier, though it was almost our hotel of choice, but the cons outweighed the pros. With so many hotels much more beautiful than Disney's, as well as AirBNB's in the area, offering so much more private space and even full kitchens... it's just not worth it, to me. I do think it is more than worth it to take half a day or so to tour the hotels and the lobby, especially during holidays, but I’m not fond of the themes otherwise.

» Character Dining. This is offered in other locations, my favourite being the in-park Minnie's Breakfast At The Plaza Inn.

» Reservation Priority. For most everything you would want to reserve, they may typically be made up to 60 days in advance for non-hotel guests and there is generally no issue with booking if you're early enough.

» In-Room Celebrations. As far as this goes, I will be making a post at a later time in my AddALittleMagic section which presents a DIY Method to bring in a cheaper celebration. Part of what this will mention is various Princess Party businesses, which bring in characters who will do a series of activities. I don’t have a fancy way of narrowing down the options which I use, but I am thorough in choosing where to spend the night. The method I use is meticulous, but well worth it. I consider the amenities the people I travel with would like or need, ranging anywhere from free breakfast, pool, gym, suite, connecting rooms as well as a their overall budget.

From there, I search on Google Maps for “Disneyland Hotels”  and keep within a few blocks of the park itself to make sure everything is in walking distance or only a short Uber ride away. The most beautiful hotel I found in the area, offering so much for such a ridiculously low price, is the Majestic Garden Hotel where my sister and I stayed in 2018. I have stayed in many a hotel and AirBNB and the service and quality offered here is completely unmatched.

For 2020, my group and I will be staying at the Hyatt House. I was sad to compromise with this, but we would have needed two rooms at the Majestic Garden - which doesn’t offer free breakfast either, so it made more sense costwise and it was important for us to all be in one room. We’ll still be visiting the Majestic Garden during our trip, to tour the hotel and eat the amazing sliders at their bar!

Other places which I haven’t had the pleasure of staying at, but I would have stayed in a heartbeat, is this gorgeous Peter-Pan themed AirBNB. The host also offers several other spaces themed to Disney movies, but I’m a sucker for Peter! There was also this stunning muted pink-and-grey townhouse!
