How to Build a Healthy and Strong Family

A healthy and strong family is what anchors us and holds us steady during rough waters. There comes a point in your life when you start to think about building a healthy and strong family. Some people even rush at it without second thoughts, especially if they think they’re financially ready. However, the complexities of building a family don’t only stop in the financial aspect. You have to think about the responsibilities and duties as a parent and a partner. Each of the family member’s physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual growth should be your utmost priority altogether. If you are successful in this endeavor, there is a guarantee that your family will endure the toughest tides to come. So, how do you build a strong family? Pay Attention to Family Members It is important that you talk regularly to your partner and child/ren. Yet there are times that they become secretive and hide personal stuff from you for fear of being scolded. Pay attention to their actions and encourage them to voice out their problems. You should educate them that in facing the problem, you face the struggle together as a family. Consequently, the fear of sharing personal problems with the family subside. Spend Time with Family Spending time with your family is one of the simplest yet also the most difficult task in building a strong family. Easy because it doesn’t take any special training; difficult because the life of an adult is riddled with demands and pressures. Nevertheless, you have to make sure that you get to spend quality time with your family. It is in these moments where unity and solidarity develop. Everyone gets to enjoy at the same time learn more about each other. Also, spending time with your family grants you the opportunity to track their growth and also influence them positively. Make a Conscious Effort to Cultivate a Loving Environment Environment is one of the factors that affect the development of a young family. You will want a family that is nurtured in love, respect, kindness, and other virtues. To do that, you have to show them the gestures of love. Your actions will inspire them to do the same. Hence, the bond that holds the family together further strengthens through love. Building a family requires the willingness to perform and the commitment to these duties and responsibilities. While financial status also comes in vital in building a family, it doesn’t determine if you’re ready to start one.   Main Ridge Estate is a successful family-run boutique winebusiness, the first licensed winery on the Mornington Peninsula, established bypioneering winemakers Nat and Rosalie White. The small and picturesque estateis set high on Arthur’s Seat, and produces benchmark Pinot Noir andChardonnay.  The Sexton family purchasedthe property in 2015 when the Whites retired, and James Sexton is the newwinemaker.  The original winery andcellar door is open Friday to Sunday every week (and during holidays) for winetastings and sales, and casual lunches in The Larder.  Go to our website at www.mre.com.au for more information.

  About the role

  Our business is growing steadily, and we now have a role fora Hospitality All-rounder to work alongside the Sexton family members.  The role encompasses customer service in thecellar door (wine tastings and sales) and The Larder (food service).  Our style of service is personal,professional and relaxed. We want our guests to enjoy a sense of connection toMain Ridge Estate and to our beautiful wine region.

  We are seeking a person with sound experience in sales,hospitality and customer service, and:

·     Your own transport, current Victorian RSA andfull rights to work in Australia

·     Enthusiasm to work in a small business / familyenvironment

  Knowledge of the Mornington Peninsula, and the local winecommunity will be favourably regarded, but is not essential.

  We will offer the successful candidate excellent hourlyremuneration, great working conditions and a commitment to develop your wineknowledge through training.  Occasionalweekends days-off may be rostered if your personal circumstances require.
