Danganronpa Fan Executions
These are pretty much ideas I came up with for some of my Danganronpa OCs. Criticism is greatly appreciated.
High School Level Ultimate Calligraphy - Bloody Red Ink: The student finds themselves in a dark room. When light brightens their surroundings, they can find 4 Monokumas dressed as judges. The student then is challenged to create the most intricate, most beautiful creation they can and are given a set time period. For them to escape the execution, they will need at least 1 approval from any of the Monokumas. They frantically wright with the ink and brushes in the room and, once they are done, all of the Monokumas stare blankly at the papers before ripping them apart, spitting on them and trashing every single one. The student then falls from a trap door into a glass container resembling an ink bottle. The bottle starts to slowly fill up to it’s maximum with ink, and the student tries their best to stay afloat but fail. As they are slowly losing air, a Monokuma appears and breaks the bottle, setting the student free. The student gasping for air then falls into what looks to be an assembling line. From behind them, thousands of hammers appear, and they start to slowly, yet strongly, fall into the student’s body, from their legs to their head. The student’s body is pulverized, and the bloody remains are sealed into a new ink bottle.
High School Level Ultimate Perfumer - Can you find the scent?: The student is put in a garden filled with different flowers and herbs. Monokumas dressed as celebrities and rich people start to demand diferente fragrances from the student, but for every Monokuma that they displease with their perfume a meter will slowly rise, indicating that a deadly toxin will start to enter the air as it becomes full. The student fails every time to give a perfect concoction to the Monokumas, for they will never be satisfied and eventually collapse, with blood leaking from their eyes, mouth, nose, and ears.
High School Level Ultimate Archer - Pin Point the Monokuma!: The student is put in a carnival-like booth where a Monokuma dressed as a circus ringleader tasks them with finding the correct Monokuma doll hidden inside a tiny box after they are shuffled with many others boxes. For every wrong guess they take, a poisonous arrow will be shot at them. The student starts to shoot at every box they believe is the correct one, yet they miss every time. Finally, they shoot at the only box remaining, revealing it to be fake as well. Then, a Monokuma dressed as Robin Hood whistles behind the student, revealing hundreds of other Monokumas, all with bows and arrows leaking a toxic green liquid. As the student slowly looks back, all of the arrows are shot, killing the student slowly as they bleed from their wounds and the poison.
High School Level Ultimate Auctioneer - To the Highest Bidder!: The student appears chained to a luxurious chair, befitting of royalty, in front of an entire audience of sophisticated looking Monokumas. A Monokuma dressed in a copy of the student's uniform appears beside them with a microphone, announcing that the ultimate action has started and for the bears to give their bids. One of the Monokuma asks for the student's right leg for a bet of 1 million Mono Coins, then a second Monokuma offers 2 million Mono Coins, and it goes on and on until a final Monokuma offers 100 million Mono Coins. The student's leg is chopped off by 2 Monokumas dressed as doctors. Then the auction continues. All of the Monokumas proceed to offer millions of Coins in exchange of the student's extremities, but are always won over by a 100 million Mono Coin bet. Once the student is left with no arms or legs, the final bet of the night starts, their head. It becomes a fierce fight for the Monokumas but, as always, the highest offer of 100 million Mono Coins wins. The student watches in horror as a saw falls from the ceiling, chopping their head off. The final shot shown is the winner Monokumas carrying the legs, arms and head as trophies.

Okay now I want to talk about the execution I've made for Jaden so infodump time???
For Jaden's execution, here are the aspects of it that I made as a sort of "Character Study":
The first theme it runs on is of drowning. Jaden has a fear of the deep ocean and of drowning, so it's a given that would be the main themes of his despair.
However, he is also tied up, specifically his hands are tied to be above his head. He has issues with his vocal chords and unable to raise his voice about a low whisper, so he uses ASL as his main method of communicating in a non painful way--so tying up his hands essentially makes him unheard. Jaden is an advocate in many aspects and tries to use his "voice" to speak up for the things he advocates for, so to be essentially silenced is maddening to him. You can also see it as he killed someone under the influence of the Obedience Disease and not of his own free will, so this also symbolizes his "hands being tied" in the situation.
Also--for all of his life, people belittled him for being a digital artist and not a traditional one, making him resent the medium of traditional art--which is why he specifically drowns in a classic medium for traditional art, paint.
Jaden also hates street violence and gun violence especially, and you know what paint balls are shot out of? Guns.
Every aspect about Jaden's execution is made to make him feel miserable in his final moments. From the fear of drowning, to being silenced, to dying to a thing he resents, to dying to a violence he despises. This execution is tailor made to him--and it barely has anything to do with Digital Art.
... Honestly it makes me want to work on Kurochi's execution concept more, because while I do play with the Despair of wanting to live after it's too late, I think I can invoke more despair in his execution.

We’re almost done discussing the first chapter of “I DISAGREE: An Ibuki Mioda SDR2 Protag Swap AU.” We’ve already discussed the first victim of this alternate killing game. We’ve already broken down some important parts of the trial. (Links included for newcomers who don’t want spoilers!) Now, we must reveal the story of the killer - and what happens once that story comes out.
I'm Brave but I'm Chickenshit: The First Blackened
Well, you already know it’s Kazuichi Soda. I revealed it at the end of the previous installment in this series. No surprises in this post. Nope, none at all.
When Kazuichi tries to remember the past few days, what comes up doesn’t feel like a memory. More like an off-kilter movie starring himself or perhaps a nightmare that seems unreal but feels vivid. When he reflects, he sees some quixotic freak trying to live out a hero fantasy. Yelling for Monokuma to wrestle him, offering to restrain Chiaki while the others check up on her, attempting daring physical feats before being restrained himself - the very thought of such needless risk chills him now. But he can’t deny that this other Kazuichi was (some distorted and disturbing version of) the kind of person he always yearned to be.
Then, late last night, he awoke to a noise from outside. The chair that had been propped against the door handle had been removed. He was finally free to leave his room. When he slammed it open, he found that Chiaki’s door was open as well. This was bad news: the patient’s violent impulses had only worsened with the disease’s progression. For someone so dangerous to be outside of her ravaged room, on the loose and probably on the hunt … Kazuichi couldn’t let this stand. He needed to rally the troops and help them find her.
Suddenly, he spied, leaning against his doorway, a sword. Its origin was unknown, perhaps unknowable … maybe even divine. Yes, this blade must have been intended for him to wield against evil. No need to rouse anyone else from their slumber. He shall handle this himself.
The brave knight found his foe at the front entrance, struggling to unlock the door. Grinning, he leapt toward her and repelled her away, blocking her escape and protecting the other half of the island’s residents. Unfortunately, watching movies of samurai and ninja and knights doesn’t count as training in the weapon. Kazuichi’s clumsiness with the sword enabled her to dodge his parries and swings. She got behind him, then scurried up the steps that lead to the restaurant. On its other side, he realized with a gasp, there’s an outdoor stairwell that can bring her right to the cottages.
He chased. He confronted. He cornered. At last, he killed.
The victory of the moment vanished in the same instant as the target’s soul. Between blinks, Kazuichi stopped seeing a bloodthirsty fiend. He then saw Chiaki Nanami, a quiet and chill girl who got sick and acted differently. Though he couldn’t fully trust anyone under these circumstances, he’d felt that she was harmless enough, even pretty cute. Now, he was holding what looked like a sword, and it was right through her stomach, and the blood wouldn’t stop gushing down the stairs.
Terrified, he impulsively removed the blade and chucked it into the air. The splash it made as it landed in the swimming pool (from far away - guy’s got muscles!) spooked him. Afraid that the sound may have awoken potential witnesses, he fled back to his room, where he awaited his fate. Maybe he wouldn’t even make it to morning. What had prompted him to impale the girl, he recalled with a wince, was that in a last act of desperation, she’d slashed him across the chest with her nails (they’re normally filed short for optimal button-pushing, but she’d been growing and sharpening them at the hospital). He was bleeding, too ... really badly. Knowing he was dead either way, he fainted.
Morning came. Kazuichi was alive, his wound bandaged. He zipped his jumpsuit. He couldn’t breathe a word. Not until another seemingly harmless and pretty cute girl, Ibuki Mioda, urged him to damn himself.
He gets more sympathy than expected. So does Chiaki, which is good. Everyone now understood the nature of Despair Disease. Neither patient was in the right frame of mind. Neither would’ve really wanted to kill. He arguably even saved their lives at the cost of his own. Which is heroic! But, Hiyoko observes, he also failed to speak up when Peko, Fuyuhiko, and Byakuya were all this close to being falsely convicted. So he nearly negated his own sacrifice to what he would’ve known, subconsciously or otherwise, to be his benefit. A coward to the end.
“Can you blame me?” he shouts, no longer caring how he came off. “I don’t want to die, either.”
But die, he must. The votes come in. Monokuma bangs the gavel. Ready or not, it’s punishment time.
Kazuichi’s execution sees him yanked into the air by a claw and dropped roughly onto a conveyor belt. On the other end is a killing machine, a mess of gears and pointy objects and belches of flame straight out of Saw. With walls on either side, he can only run against the flow, as fast as his long legs can take him. Miscellaneous parts and machinery threaten to trip him, and Monokuma (dressed in appropriate safety gear) ramps up the belt’s speed. For the climax, you ever see that part from the movie Modern Times where Charlie Chaplin is caught between moving gears? It’s that, but less silent comedy slapstick and more horror movie mangling.
No one’s happy with this. Least of all because they still couldn’t conclude who among the staff could’ve helped him escape. Someone on the outside had to open the patients’ doors, drop off the weapon, and bandage Kazuichi’s wounds. Speculation runs wild: Byakuya must've done it because he knew where the sword was kept. Ibuki must've done it because how else could an airhead like her solve this mystery? The whole medical staff must've done it because they couldn’t think of a more painless way to stop the disease.
Ibuki takes some pride in saving everyone’s skins, but the agony of the execution and the distrust of her peers severely bums her out. She wishes she could go back to the gates of Hope’s Peak so she could turn around and leave. Or to that fateful morning when the disease first struck, so she could tell everyone what she knows now and maybe change the outcome. She’d even settle for earlier this morning, when she found Mikan beside her in bed again, looking all snug, feeling really warm …
Oh. Oh, shit.
Next week.

Silco SO should've haunted the narrative in s2 I can't stress this enough. Like, we knew Vander, Mylo and Claggor only for 3 episodes, but their presence was felt aaaall throughout s1. And now you're telling me that a PRIMARY ANTAGONIST of s1, a leader of Zaun, Jinx's dad and The person who started the negotiations with Piltover for Zaun's independence only got a couple of mentions?? Which aren't even relevant to the plot or character motivations??? Are you LEGIT FOR REAL kidding me???? I still can't believe this happened chat.
He's literally a part of the main cast. He literally was present in every single episode of s1. And again, given just How Much was tied directly to him his death should've had just. Massive consequences. For almost every single character. And yet.
My honest reaction to this information:

Fan execution for danganronpa
Exicuted-ultimate high-school luck
The ultimate lucky student(ULS) is excorted to a large roller wheel. They have a smile on their face trusting their luck will save them, like it always has. They walk up a ladder and get scraped to a green spot on the wheel that says escape. All of the other spots have a cause of death on it. A monakuma (or whatever your robot is) in a dealers outfit walks up to the wheel and grabs one of the pegs spinning the wheel extremely fast. As the wheel spins the stopper starts to decent twords the head of the ULS their eyes flash full of fear for a second before being replaced by confidence. A monakuma holding a machine gun starts to shoot at the bottom of the wheel hitting in between the ULS'S legs but never hitting them. The wheel stops just as the stopper is about to hit the ULS's or it appears too. With the added weight of the ULS the wheel starts to spin back as realization dawn on the ULS's face the machine gus starts to shoot again this time hitting the ULS in the legs before the stopper falls hitting the ULS in the head causing alot of damage but not enough to kill them. The wheel barely reaches crushed as a creaking in heard and the wheel falls forward crushing the ULS. Blood leaks out from under the wheel confirming the death of the ULS

i'm sure this has been articulated before and probably better, but i can't stop thinking about the fact that the main reason buddie fans hate Tommy (outside from the fact he is blocking their ship from becoming "canon") is because Tommy is getting the Eddie storyline they want. Or rather, the fandom idea of Eddie is being played out with Tommy's character arc.
This really clicked with me after I watched a nearly 4hr 9-1-1 recap youtube video created by a buddie fan. I genuinely think (the buddie of it all and their view of Tommy aside) it's a great video and worth a watch! Really articulates what makes 9-1-1 fun and lovable, the issues the show has (especially with copaganda), the bad writing with certain characters and character plot arcs, and genuinely had a lot of points I agree with/have been saying myself since I started watching 9-1-1. Even the buddie of it all, I could get on board with because I like watching people argue why they ship something - I don't have to agree with it or like the ship to be interested.
My main issue with the video (and why I can't stop thinking about it) is how the creator viewed Tommy and how (perhaps purposefully) bad-faith they have interpreted his actions towards Buck. Again, I don't care if someone doesn't like Tommy or has no strong opinions of him, but I prefer people's dislike to be based on reality and/or what the character actually did, and not through the rose-coloured glasses of a shipper lens.
When the creator of the video brought up Tommy as Buck's love interest, they mostly said they were rather cool on him and that we don't know a lot about him yet to really know the character (and given that this was published before S8, that's fair). However, they bring up the cafe scene in S7E05 and Tommy's "mmmm, not like that" line as "evidence" that Tommy's indifferent to Buck and this is where buddies and general audiences separate into different realities, because this moment is a) clearly supposed to be funny/romcomsque and b) demonstrates Tommy's dry wit and, dare i say, sassiness - a trait applauded by buddie fans with Eddie (and they use as proof as his "queerness") but condemned when a canonically gay character does it. The video creator themselves mentions numerous times Eddie's sassiness as a positive trait (and to be fair, they also mention that it's sort of Eddie's default trait because he's a nothingburger character - which I agree with), but when Tommy does it, it suddenly demonstrates that a character doesn't really like/care for their love interests (which given what we know about S8.... hilarious in hindsight, holy projection batman).
Anyways, that really clicked into place for me that the (outsized) outrage buddies have towards Tommy is because he is canonically demonstrating traits they want to see in Eddie/how they view (fandom) Eddie.
Tommy as a character is:
-a deeply closeted gay man when we first meet him, who participates in toxic masculinity as a means to protect himself and/or because he can't (or is unable to) fully articulate himself as a queer person.
-alluded to have been raised in an environment where he had to hide his queerness (as discussed specifically in S7E10 with 118 being a "regressive place" when he was there). Is pressured by both his biological family and his work "family" to maintain a certain idea of manhood, and by extension, stay closeted. Also served in the army, an institute infamous for being homophobic, and undoubtedly influenced his ideas around duty and manhood.
-unable to maintain relationships with women, even serious long-term ones as with Abby, and uses these relationships (either subconsciously or not) to maintain the illusion of his heterosexuality.
-tied with "traditional" masculine interests/hobbies/institutes. He was in the army, he likes monster trucks, fighting, craft beer, flies a helicopter, etc. He seems, on the surface, a guy's guy.
-now canonically out and was/is in a relationship with Buck and has served, vitally, as a closet key to Buck, ensuring that two firefighters on the silly weewoo show are, in fact, together.
-very clearly invested in Buck's well-being, both within and outside of relationship. Has demonstrated numerous times "going out" of his way to put Buck's emotional needs first and to value Buck in way others (Eddie) do not.
-one half of a groundbreaking queer relationship. Cannot be repeated enough, the fact that the show has a main character (beloved by fandom and the general audience alike) come out as queer in a long-running mainstream show is groundbreaking. The fact that Tommy is one half of this ship is so important both to the show and Buck's entire arc. It is important and groundbreaking.
These are almost all things/traits that buddie fans argue make Eddie queer and/or why buddie would be a groundbreaking ship. Which sure, but the reality is the showrunners, the actors, the show itself have maintained Eddie is straight, and (as articulated by the creator themselves in the video) most of what they project onto Eddie comes from the fact he is poorly written rather than because the show was planning on making Eddie gay in the first place.
I read through numerous comments for the recap video and for a following video from the same creator about whether they had been queerbaited (I wish buddies learned the term "ship-tease" because if one half of your ship is canonically queer, no you cannot be queerbaited and dismissing Buck's canonical queerness just because your ship is not happening is, uh, a problem), and numerous times buddies have mentioned how "groundbreaking" buddie would be as if all the things they mention about the ship hasn't already happened with Bucktommy on the show. Their issue is not that the show refuses to do this (and the amount of comments I read that said things like 'they'll never make buddie happen because the network is too conservative'.... for a show with a black lesbian relationship from season 1 and has already made half of your ship queer and made him fuck nasty on screen with his male love interest.... the mental gymnastics is too much), but the fact that the show HAS already done this, just not with their blorbo of choice.
My closing thoughts (for now, I have MANY!) is that in the follow up video about being "queerbaited by 9-1-1", numerous comments asked "if Eddie isn't gay, that would mean he's just emotionally immature, terrible to women, and not a great friend or parent. He would be the worst character on the show".... and like yes, that's the real character you are choosing to stan, not the fanfic one! I fully understand that Eddie is blank canvas for most buddies to pin their hopes and dreams onto (again, because he is poorly written and is essentially a nothingburger character), but no matter how you twist each bucktommy interaction, make bad-faith interpretations, project things that never happened onto Tommy, in the end, Eddie is still a straight boring character. And Tommy is the one who is canonically living out the character-arc you so desperately want to see on the show.

*drops into bed*
this took so much more time than I was expecting it to. ;_; tho it got me through a few difficult days, so it's fine.
a little fancomic for skyrim tales, cause I still am sorta obsessed :D
first I was like, ok, 'let's just try some more comic like stuff' then I was like, 'now I need to make Thomas be a coloured side, just to make him really pop out' And then I was like 'well NOW the rest looks sorta blank.. so. full colour it is...'
//finished full colour//
'....well now all the colours look off.' *table flip*
big smooch to my bestie @mechazushi aka beta reader, aka the-one-brain-cell-keeper!! <3 thank you so much for taking the time to feedback my drafts <3 ૮ ˆﻌˆ ა
