AITA for taking my (23m) brother on a road trip?

So I (27m), found out that our father (39m) had gone missing. So I drove to see my little brother, who was at Uni to see if he was able to come and look for our dad with me.

My little brother, has managed to settle down at law school with his girlfriend but despite that he was willing to drop everything to help me look for dad.

The issue is, whilst we were out on our road trip looking for dad, His girlfriend was murdered.... And I kinda blame myself because my little brother might have been able to save her.

On top of that, I kinda got my brother involved in some of my illegal dealings, that led to us both getting placed on the FBI wanted list, so now my little brother can't go back to law school even if he wanted to.

Ok, so I bought that Ultimate Guide to Manga and Anime magazine because I have no self-control and Trigun surprisingly got a lot of love in it.

Right here we have Vash being a cover boy alongside other greats. Totally not the reason why I reached for this, what are you talking about?

The manga made it into this little pop-up article about manga that have differences from the anime with another one of my faves, Claymore.

Here we are again in an excerpt about space westerns. Trigun has it's own little blerb on the next page.

Teru Vash makes an appearance in an article about merch.

And last but not least, Vash takes the V spot in the A to Z anime characters you need to know section.

All and all, a lot of Trigun mentions. Guess the folks who wrote the magazine are Trigun fans. No mention of Tristamp but that's okay. They missed an opportunity to make an article about animes that get reboots or remakes or later continuations or whatever but that might have been too much. But seeing all this Trigun love made me feel all warm and fuzzy.

Am I (M37) the asshole for accidentally drinking my boyfriend's (M26) energy drink?

Background: We met through our profession a few years ago and our lives are generally much better by having each other at our sides. However, we still bicker and fight over what seems to be the smallest events or comments.

The event: Before a very important work event, I grabbed what I thought was a can of juice from the fridge and drank it. Apparently, my boyfriend had written his name on the can and was really looking forward to it. He scolded me in public at the event, and then decided he wasn't going to speak to me to teach me a lesson.

I love him a lot and am used to small fights but I can't help but feel like he's over reacting this time. He will write me notes since then when we have to communicate, so he's not "ghosting" me as the internet crowd calls it. I really miss his voice and don't know if I should just wait this out and accept my responsibility, or dig my heels in about his huge reaction. Help?

theres this one fuckign panel in robin 1993 just before the brentwood arc, right as tim is like,,,hanging out with Ives for the last time for a whhhhile. And ives is like "oh hey, let's meet up over spring break." And tim is like "sure." And anyone who read the comics knows That Does Not Happen. I'm sure the writers totally forgot that tiny aside with Ives happened but In-Universe that must have been. So funny. Did Ives get an email? A phone call? Or did Tim just fuck off to north carolina (was it?? North carolina??? Cant remember thanks brain :/ ) w/ no heads up to his friend???

Sharing my personal experience as an aroace in fandoms based on this artwork.

Being aroace and engaging in fandoms has been kinda lonely and exhausting. I like to check my favourite character’s tags and when most of the posts are 90% shipping-related, it dampens my enthusiasm. It’s not like I’m against shipping or anything. I enjoy shipping and on rare occasions that I get invested in a ship, I go all in (as you can see with my current ship/fandom).

I just wished that there was more variety when discussing the characters. When everything gets connected to ships/romance, it can be overbearing for me especially if it’s about a character that I personally connect with. I’m lucky that my current fandom has a lot of great character studies that go hand in hand with shipping. It makes things more tolerable even if I can’t fully enjoy shipping discussions since it’s not my main focus/interest.

I also see a lot of hate for a-spec headcanons and that makes me sad. There are so many different kinds of love and defining love to only be “romantic love that must involve kissing and sex or else it’s not love” doesn’t feel right to me.

Don’t get me started on ship wars…
