Jekyll could not begrudge the university for its policy on human subjects research – not with what he had witnessed in undergrad, with esteemed professors taking advantage of those who could not afford to disobey them.

Nor did he have issues with the concept of peer review, having overseen the development of research for many of his colleagues.

And yet, as he stared at his email, he could not help but feel rage simmering in his gut – another denial for funding had just come through, citing a lack of precedent, as well as concern over a lack of oversight.

They could not grant him one subject – all medical trials required multiple phases with hundreds of participants, otherwise it might be considered akin to torture.

I only drew characters that will appear most in my drawings, but there are plenty of others I included! The designs were either closest to the original and accurate to the Victorian era or simply based on my vision.

These descs are pretty short and primitive, as it intended to be, my vision on characters is much deeper than that.

It was kinda stupid to make a website for just these silly drawings, but it's too late to regret it, + it'll be easier to navigate from where i started.

i just read the original dr jekyll and mr hyde novel for the first time. it was very good. but also it was so funny to me that it was WAY shorter than the glass scientists. it took me like a week to read tgs up to the most recent update when i started. it took me 2 hours to read jekyll and hyde. gay people are crazy

A book cover I designed after reading the strange case novella! I drew this AGES ago in my sketchbook but finally scanned it & cleaned it up today :)
