when you think about it, a church is a house you marry when you become ordained.

spousal coming in the shape of worship and ritual is kinda fascinating. I'm not christian and I don't love a lot of christian ideals (including virginity and the sanctity of marriage) but i think a sacred space being devoted to is godly in its own sense. even non church homes can be full of love and devotion. now i wanna write a story about a cleaner married to the ghost of a haunted house....

And I stare at fellow yeens nervously with love because I haven't been a wild yeen in a very long time and i want them to like me

And I stare at that one peepy on here with sheer joy because I never saw a talkin peepy before

And I politely bring bears some berries or fish in request for friendship

I have been on a bit of a kick for the last few months, setting a budget and then buying everything that caught my eye in the timeline until I hit the total every month. The goods I have received in return are blowing my mind, you guys!

Back once a bloody gain with another question about z'ahra, (this one's mainly brought on due to all the fantastic art I've seen on tumblr lately). If he had a Pokemon team, what would it be, and what would his ace pokemon be? (It's funny, when I see some characters it's a question that pops into my head sometimes.)

hmmm this one's tough since i only played yellow

z'ahra would be a very laidback pokemon trainer who doesn't really go out of his way to catch pokemon or battle them or even really learn about them. like he'll be walking in a forest and maybe a pokemon is curious and wanders over and z'ahra's just like "oh. am i your trainer now?" and then yeah he's their trainer now.

i think he would definitely like cute and fluffy pokemon. maybe just an assortment of eeveelutions. he feels bad keeping them in pokeballs too so he's just constantly covered in an assortment of eevees.

tying into his rpr stuff, i think amongst all those eevees he'd also just have. a really creepy ghost type like a ghastly that terrifies everyone around him. but it's one of z'ahra's best frens and he loves it

i also really love the idea of him having like a legendary pokemon but not knowing how rare it is because he's actually one of the dumbest and most uninformed pokemon trainers to ever live. so he's just walking down the street with a mew hanging over his shoulder and not understanding why everyone's staring

A SHORT REVIEW by Danny P. Parker

"Caesarella and the Red Skirts" is critically acclaimed comedy musical about a simple girl with her simple goal to conquer the entirety of the world.

The story follows the many adventures of a whimsical misandrist Caesarella, "she loves books, unpaid labor, setting her ex-boyfriends on fire and throwing them off of cliffs!"

The musical is filled with humor and joyness, wonderful sounds and choreography. As a good friend of the main songwriter, I can tell that Bruce put a lot of good work into all of the songs, and I can appreciate that, but boy oh boy, the "Oh, Joshua" will forever be my favorite! I always had a soft spot for romance and the chemistry between the actors was on spot.

Can't miss out on the amazing acting and singing by William Erickson, a new shining star at the Tops! Besides not being in the spotlight and seemingly first-timing the role of Caesarella, William left the the audience in awe at his otherworldly performance, a fantastic start for him! We also have a few familiar faces with Alexa Strongmore as Lupus Inculta and Gordon Frens as The Burned Man, with their performances being as good as ever.

If this review didn't convince you to buy a ticket for the closest show, that means you are either not human or cheap to your bones! Which is no problem, because my good friend Bruce shared a secret with me, that they will be making a radioplay version of the "Caesarella" this June! So, go buy these tickets while you still can and see the show LIVE on STAGE!

The Evil That Men Do by CharlieTheUnicorn is the single best VinVeld fic (series) that I've ever read. It's a trilogy, with the third part being incomplete thus far, but regardless of completion status I literally cannot recommend it highly enough. The pacing is excellent, the characterization is fantastic, the worldbuilding is solid—genuinely, it's the best VinVeld work I've ever read, and as the first person in the English speaking side of the fandom to have posted fanart of that ship way back in 2005, that means something.

I did this for Vinesis earlier so this time I'm gonna do Tseeve: Reeve has photos of his loved ones on his desk at work, and when he needs to focus in preparation for a particularly important or difficult meeting, he puts just the photos of Tseng facedown so he stops getting distracted looking at him. (This comes from a long, silly conversation with @takenbynumbers, and is a headcanon shared between us!)

❄️ ⇢ what's your dream theme/plot for a fic, and who would write it best?

Honestly this is hard to say—I have a lot of different things I'd like to read, but most of them are things that I accept I'd have to write myself if I ever want them to exist, and I write specifically to indulge myself and/or my friends so that's usually my mindset on it. Smoke and Mirrors is basically the Sephesis fic I've always wanted, and the VinVeld AU I'm working on is pretty much the Vincent-centric fic I've always wanted. If you want something done you've gotta do it yourself!

For things I'd love to see that I don't want to write myself for whatever reason, I would love a long time-travel fix-it fic based around someone other than Cloud going back in time—Vincent or Genesis would be my preference, since they actually had much more important roles in the Crisis coming to pass. I know there are a couple out there with Vincent, one of which I am pretty fond of, but they tend to focus on ships I avoid (the two most popular ships for Vincent are NOTPs for me) or end up falling into tropes and story concepts I'm not really into. I don't have a solid enough concept of the exact plot that I'd like to see there to write it myself, but maybe someday...

are you familiar with the saying help me help you? well, after finishing my internship, one of the feedbacks i got was about continuing to work on my graphics skills. therefore, i want to keep learning and evolving but the only way i can do that is by doing things for you. i will create a sideblog to this blog and everything, but i want to help you with anything that you need, for free of course! whether it is stuff like headers, pfps, pinned images, dividers, icon borders, even psds, it's all open for you! i can also try to help you figure out an aesthetic or if there's anything you need help with around tumblr and the rp experience. this will make more sense once the sideblog is made but this is it in a nutshell!
