I just woke up from a dream that had a kh4 teaser trailer???

In my dream someone asked me if I seen the most recent teaser and I was like!??? No!? Then they had their phone out and warned me that it’s short but full of hype. Then they play it and I see kh 4 Sora falling down feet first with a sparkly effect alongside Lightning and Serah Farron from the FF XIII series implying Quadratum is full of ff and other square enix characters.

Then moments later they suddenly get chibified into the khux/khdr art style, also implying that service for khuxdr is back online as you see them running around the Snow White world, specifically the Queen’s lab? They meet up with Vor??? Who’s just fine and explore the world with her?? Then someone drops a line and says they “never seen the poison apple so devoid of malice this time” and the offscreen voice was none other than young xehanort. The short trailer ends there and we get a teaser of a 3D cutscene of the backs of Lea, Kairi and the Wayfinder trio in a circular dark fantasy looking room with mirrors that that are framed like doors.

Parents: Extremely alive. His father is named Bernon, and he was a pikeman in the Ishgardian military until he and his wife deserted left, and he is currently a maverick Wood Wailer who should probably hand in his badge. His mother is named Gwenolie, she was a chirugeon in Ishgard, which is how she met Bernon in the first place. She retired completely upon reaching Gridania ... as far as Gridania knows, at least.

Siblings: His twin sister, Orianne. Her nickname, of course, is Dawn. She's a botanist most of the time, unless she feels like the Scions are not doing a good enough job keeping an eye on her brother. Then she's a lancer who recently picked up reaper, since it's hard to feel like you're pulling your weight when your brother and his boyfriend bro are both extra special dragoons, you know?

Grandparents: ALSO VERY ALIVE, although they're all getting on in years. Gwenolie's parents are Lionnet and Aurelle Tirauland. Lionnet is a (mostly) retired chocobo trainer, Aurelle is a retired knight. Bernon's parents are Ciceroix and Iliette Lanverlais. Ciceroix was also a pikeman in the military (now retired) and Iliette is a retired archer.

In-laws and Other: It's kinda funny this asks for in-laws but not ... partners? Farron is Dusk's almost-husband, which makes Farron's semi-adopted dad, Bjalla, Dusk's almost-father-in-law. Farron also has two kids, twins, named Sverre and Kara, who seem keen to adopt Dusk. The twins live on the First. It's a whole thing. And Estinien is ... <waves hand vaguely>.

Pets: Dusk and Farron are currently raising two amaro babies, which probably count. Their names are Eo Lad and Sul Lad, and they're adorable. There's also Duck, of course, but he's not a pet.

"You know," the old woman said. "We used to put bets on which one of us would die last. It was pretty funny back then." Her lips twitched. "But it's a lot less funny now."

The interviewed wasn't sure whether or not she should laugh. In the end, she decided to press on. "How do you think history will view you and the other heroes from the past few generations?"

The old woman chuckled. "They're already mythologising us. I wish they'd at least wait until I was dead, but I can't really blame them for getting on with it since I've been sticking around a lot longer than anyone expected." She grinned. "The thing about people is that they go from heroes to legends remarkably quickly. Just look at my parents and siblings."

"Oh?" The interviewer leaned forward. "Could you clarify?"

"Take my sister, for example. Yes, she basically wrote the book on logistics and how to combine disparate social, political, and military systems, but nobody ever talks about how she killed just about every plant she ever owned. Nobody ever mentions the grumpiness, her tendency to approach social situations with the delicacy and subtlety of a bazooka, and her soft spot for people in her family that could just as easily give way to tyranny."

"Some people might say that her contributions to logistics and overarching civilisational systems theory were more important."

"And those people would be idiots. Those are things she did. They weren't who she was. A thousand years from now, people will be poring over all the stuff she did and wondering how the hell she pulled it off. I can guarantee you that basically none of them will consider the possibility that who she was played a large part in allowing her to do the things she did."

"What do you mean?"

"Ever wonder why she came up with ways to combine disparate systems? She was sick of having to deal with everybody's crap. Developing a way to control the entire thing let her spend more time with her family and less time stabbing people who couldn't get along."

"I... see."

"And don't even get me started on my parents. I love my mother. She was an absolutely amazing parent. But people are already glossing over or ignoring her early life and how much of a jerk she was back then."

"You're calling Lightning Farron a jerk?"

"Absolutely. I'm her daughter. I get to do that. My mother was a jerk for much of her early life. Her idea of leadership was terrorising people into doing what she said. It took throwing her onto a team of equally stubborn idiots for her to change. Even then, I'm not sure she ever would have if she hadn't met my mom, who was basically the first person in her entire life that she couldn't just kick the crap out of."

"You want people to remember those things?"

"Of course! I don't want people treating us like we were gods! I want people to remember us how we actually were because how can you possibly appreciate all the good properly if you just ignore all the bad? How are people going to learn anything from our lives if we just pretend that we were perfect to start with?"

"That is one way you can look at."

"And it's not just my family. It's all of the others too. My Aunt Lumina hasn't even been dead for more than a few decades, and people outside of our family are already trying to downplay her role in my Aunt Vanille's success."

"But your Aunt Vanille was arguably the greatest genius in Remnant's history, wasn't she?"

"She was, but she never would have done as much as she did if my Aunt Lumina hadn't been with her all those years. Who do you think she bounced ideas off? Who do you think proofread her papers and got her to clarify herself? Who do you think got her to put her thoughts to paper in a way that other people could actually understand? If my Aunt Vanille had her way, her papers would have been written in supremely compressed Ancient Dia. There would have been maybe ten people in the world who could have understood them. But now you've got a whole bunch of historical 'experts' proclaiming her some kind of isolated, solitary genius. That's bullshit. My Aunt Vanille was a genius, yeah, but she didn't do all of her work alone. What do you think Raine and I did all those years? Just hang around and drink coffee? And the less I say about how my Uncle Hope's contributions have been minimised, the better. Honestly, if it weren't for Penny, people would have written him out of history already."

"That's a very strong stance to take."

"I take it because some of you people are idiots. Some people would rather spin some fanciful story than actually talk about what really happened. That's fine, but don't call it history."

"Is there a lesson you'd like to pass onto the future?"

"Yeah. People need to remember that we weren't the first major civilisation on Remnant. There were others before us. Each and every one of them got wiped out by the Grimm. Our victory was built on a foundation of blood and sacrifice that stretches back millennia. We cannot forget our past because we owe it not only to ourselves but also to all the people who dreamed of victory over the Grimm to build a brighter future. I'll be kicking the bucket in a few years, ten at the most, and then it won't be long before there isn't anyone else left except Penny and the lawnmower, that old curmudgeon, who can remember everybody else. People are going to forget. That's inevitable. But I want them to keep the past in mind because without it, we wouldn't have a future ahead of us."

"I... see."

"Look, we shouldn't chain ourselves to the past, but we shouldn't forget where we came from either. Cherish the past, savour the present, and brighten the future. Look to the stars, but don't forget to keep your feet on the ground."

Diana notably outlived every single major figure from the previous generation and her generation and most of the major figures from the following generation as well. photo: basically all his current life sigurd hasn't had too many fond memories. during his time on the Storm Petrel he was mostly being ordered around and working all hours. one was his first time trying pineapple. after that it was being rescued by the wellingtons. he's made many happy memories after that.

parachute: sigurd has a complicated relationship with the crew of the ship. he's been worked like a slave since he was a child but they're the only people he's known consistently. he had somewhat of a bond with the captain until ross killed him. afterwards he ends up being mentored by bridei and latches onto him.

star: he would like to talk to his mother for an afternoon.

i just have one story ive been slowly chipping away at for many many years. i actually don't have an official name for it still. LOL. it definitely falls into like the urban fantasy/cosmic horror genre somewhat.

i have like, a lot of lore. like, a lot. tons. i confuse anyone i talk to about my story. ive been obsessing over my character Bridei for months and my sister didn't even know who he was. everything is so interwoven i like cant explain a quarter of it without going off on 20 bunny trails.

anywho i have a kinda old pic i did of the main cast

the 2 on the left and one all the way to the right are siblings. Ross, Penelope, and Percy Wellington. the lad in the middle is Sigurd. The obnoxiously colored one is Farron, he's a revenant (undead reanimated to fulfill a purpose) but he's currently unaware of this. he thinks he's a very weird Fay. he is wrong. they go on adventures and sing shanties and pester their Mentor character Bridei (pointy lad below)

he's important but also not that important but it IS important that I love him.

there's 2 main villians, Mr. Guest and Morven.

in their own ways they are both plot twist villains. mr guest mainly for the "audience" and morven for the characters themselves. morven is a Fay, she had a thing with Bridei but she's currently trying to find a way to kill him (he can't be killed) and she's extremely unhappy about it. also sigurd is kindof like an adopted son to her (he doesnt know she's evil and the wellingtons don't know he knows her, Bridei knows she sucks but doesnt know she's the reason he got cursed and is behind the main antagonistic force The Cult (i donot have a name yet, i can't find something that doesnt sound stupid but im sick of calling it The Cult).

so yeah it's got a lot more plot lines and such and characters going thru their arcs and a tiny bit of romance sprinkled in barely but yea. i'm quite proud of it. :)

A Million Dreams from The Greatest Showman

This is one song I've always associated with Farron. It's very uplifting and speaks to the secret dreams and ambitions he holds. I particularly like these lyrics here:

"I think of what the world could be, a vision of the world I see..."

Even when he's trying to hide himself from the rest of the world, Farron can never fully forget his dreams and longs to live in a world where he isn't ridiculed, even if he has to create that world for himself. He's not sure how to make that future happen but the confidence he's gained working with Vil has helped tremendously so maybe by the time he graduates, Farron will be ready to create the beautiful world he imagines for himself.

There are a lot of songs I associate with Ione for different reasons but I think this one represents the catalyst of a lot that's wrong in her life, namely her terrible relationship with her father, and all she's learning to overcome.

For most of her life, Ione has been made to feel unwanted and even the love of her other siblings could do little to help her. But being away from home for school has begun to open her eyes to just how wrong her father's treatment of her has been . This song really speaks to a lot of the confusion and anger Ione feels towards him while still (for now) trying to meet his expectations and love him.
