he was born thirty-two years ago, he is a human who lives in white oaks as an emt firefighter, he looks an awful lot like richard madden.

Thaddeus lived a lavish life with his father being a well-known politician and his family part of the socialite scene. The kind of lifestyle he and his younger siblings lived was one that could be seen on a television show where everyone knew your every move. Although the parents on the outside appeared to love each other, it was all for publicity sake. Just as the children were pawns to further his father’s career and push the Spaulding family legacy onto the next generation. 

From a young age, his parents groomed him to be a man they could be proud of with private school and tutors. At the age of sixteen he graduated high school and got accepted into Cambridge to study abroad. After he received his degree, he got accepted into the college’s prestigious law school. After two years of law school and at the ripe old age of twenty-three, Thaddeus began to perceive the world differently and did not want to be just another cog in the machine. It was then he dropped out at his parents’ dismay and joined the Peace Corps and got sent to Tanzania.

During his time in Tanzania, Thaddeus built infrastructure and worked in education. It was here where he met Kylee who also was volunteering in the same village. Eventually the two decided to move to her home city of Greywood where they continued to court each other and he learned that she was not human but in fact fae. The two of them were inseparable, they had a huge passion for living life to the fullest and oftentimes could be found on the mountains side of Colorado or at a homeless shelter volunteering. They often took excursions to go mountain climbing and climbed three of the seven summits. On his twenty-seventh birthday, he learned Kylee was pregnant with his child. Sadly, when she delivered there were complications and Kylee died giving birth to their daughter Norma. After the birth of his daughter, his parents thought this would be a great opportunity for him to wet his feet in politics or return to university to finish his law degree. However, he had different plans. He started working as an EMT firefighter as his way to give back. Although it was not the ideal plan his parents envisioned for their son, they often use his career path for their public image.

Now Norma is four years old and is the light of his life. Thaddeus is still learning more about the supernatural community, wanting his little girl to be raised around those like her and hopes to provide a loving home for her.

canon details this wc would know about owen: at age fourteen, owen  entered the melbourne international chamber music competition and won!!! yay. got to do many performances around australia and his whole family attended his performance the biggest venue. he went to college in london from ages 18-22 because he felt like he had no connection to england (having left when he was only 4 years old) and wanted to have memories of the country like the rest of his family did. his best friend is alex morgan, who he met when he was 13.

hc’s for this wc: they all moved to magnetic island in 2001, when owen was four years old. the hendersons moved to the island because their dad got a new job that required them to leave blackpool and head here. growing up, their dad was often traveling or super busy with work. he wasn’t a terrible dad, just not the most present ( at least in owen’s life but he’s also the youngest so if you wish for your muse to have a different relationship w their dad pre-owen that’s something you can definitely do ! ). i wrote in his intro about the “henderson legacy” he went through back in school (teachers saying “hey i had your older sibling!”) so i imagine they’re all pretty big personalities!

I’m open to ideas, but below are a few HCs I have for the character-

Your character is an ex-hunter who grew up during the late 1700s/early 1800s

They used to work down at one of the most exclusive gambling houses in the city and was hardly the type of man Meena, a young witch and member of high society should have been consorting with at the time

She fell for them and they feel for her, but they were also manipulating her as a hunter. One night when Meena and your character were supposed to meet up, she stumbled upon your character dying

Your character had been hunting the vampire, Theodore Moore (who would eventually become the previous Clan Leader before Meena and the Catalyst's righthand man). But, Theo gained the upper hand and took your character down

Meena ended up making a deal with Theo to save your character’s life. Only to do so, Theodore turned your character, making them now have to live on as the species they hated the most.

Your character then had to watch Meena marry the vampire who turned them to withhold her end of the deal. Immediately after, your character and Meena would have grown distant and developed a tempestuous relationship. Meena and Theo moved to Lunar Cove where Theo established the first official Clan and became one of the founding members of the town. It's up to you whether your character has been in and out of Lunar Cove over the years, begrudgingly joining the clan so that they could have access to a daylight ring, or avoided the town entirely.

But, in 2022, when the Catalyst first made an appearance, your character would have experienced a sharp pain that led them to believe the sire bond had been broken. Only to find out that Theo hadn't actually died. He was kidnapped by the Catalyst who convinced Theo to join their side.

Theo attacked the town over Fourth of July weekend of this year on behalf of the Catalyst. Meena was the one to kill him and finally sever both of your sire bonds.

With the sire bond broken, your character has returned to Lunar Cove. I'd love to plot out how Meena and your character are around each other now - they could now mutually respect each other despite still harboring some resentments, they could be frenemies, they could find comfort in one another now that Theo is dead, or be butting heads within the Clan etc.
