Theoretical Study of Heat Transfer in Straight Round Pipes with Periodically Arranged Surface Flow Turbulators of Semicircular Cross-Section Depending on the Prandtl Number for Various Geometric and Mode Parameters in Biomedical Journal of Scientific & Technical Research

The dependence of the integral heat transfer distribution on the Prandtl number for turbulent convective heat exchange in a pipe with a sequence of periodic protrusions of semicircular geometry is investigated by a computational method based on the numerical solution of the system of Reynolds equations closed using the Menter shear stress transfer model and the energy equation on multi-scale intersecting structured grids. The calculation was carried out on the basis of a theoretical method based on the solution of the Reynolds equations by a factorized finite-volume method, closed using the Menter shear stress transfer model, and the energy equation on multi-scale intersecting structured grids (FCOM). The calculations carried out in the work showed that with an increase in the Prandtl number at small Reynolds numbers, first there is a noticeable increase in the relative heat exchange, and then the relative heat exchange changes less, and for small steps there is an increase in it, for medium - almost stabilization, for large - a slight decrease. At large Reynolds numbers, the relative heat transfer decreases with an increase in the Prandtl number with its further stabilization. The study analyzed the calculated dependences of the relative heat transfer on the Prandtl number Rg at different values of the relative height of the turbulator h/D, the relative step between the turbulators t/D, at different values of the Reynolds number Re, all other things being equal, which showed qualitative and quantitative changes in the calculated parameters. The analytical justification of the calculated regularities obtained is that for small Reynolds numbers, the height of the turbulator is less, and for large ones-less than the height of the wall layer, therefore, only the flow core is turbulized, which only leads to an increase in hydraulic resistance and to an exaggeration of heat transfer. In the work, on the basis of limited computational material, a noticeable decrease in the level of heat transfer intensification for small Prandtl numbers was theoretically confirmed. The obtained results of intensified heat transfer in the region of low Prandtl numbers justify the promising development of research in this direction. The theoretical data obtained in this work determined the regularities of relative heat transfer in a wide range of Prandtl numbers, including in those areas where experimental material does not yet exist.

Any good games with AI teammates being a main feature?

Any good games with AI teammates being a main feature? I've been playing a ton of mafia 3 lately, and it feels a lot like AC Syndicate and the rooks from that game, and I am wondering if there is any other games that do similar things with AI allies? I know of Homefront: The Revolution, XCom and Sin City to a lesser extent, the dragon dogma and dragon age games, the ghost recon games have very fun AI squads, Mount and Blade with their huge armies and the Orcs from the Middle Earth games also really scratches that itch. I just want any game where I can pretty much just have a ton of AI fight each other in huge battlefields. I've also been looking into getting Arma Reforger just so I can summon a bunch of Ai and have them fight eachother and make certain war scenarios. It took cohesive work between Beck, Yori, and Jet to get Ed and Sam to bed - the two Programs carrying the entwined sleeping humans, and Jet ranging ahead to get the doors. "Sleep well, my sons. We will make sure you are safe here." Yori murmured, pressing a kiss to each brow and watching the stressed furrow finally leave Ed's for the night. Beck's Bit zipped in quietly, Ed's glasses delicately balanced on its facets, with Eve flying in hot on its heels.

Beck set Ed's glasses down on his nightstand, and set off downstairs to find out if he could help tidy up. They had, after all, somewhat descended on Ed, and it was only fair.

Will and Tangle took up guard positions outside Ed's bedroom door - Tangle menacingly gripping its reclaimed knife - happy to wait out the night and make doubly sure Ed was safe by any means necessary.

It would take time to cut Dillinger Sr off from all of his remaining avenues of attack, and Tron had already been alerted to a possible new complication or threat in the User world. But on the Grid? Time was the one resource they'd always had plenty of, and that was what was humming to life and mobilising under Clu and Dyson's guidance to start an assault of their own.

Ed looked up at Alan. Between everyone, the living room was already... reaching it's occupancy limit, but it didn't feel suffocating or even crowded.

It felt cozy. Warm and safe.

Ed looked up at Alan, and nodded. He turned to motion for Alan to have a seat, only to realize every seat was occupied. He awkwardly left to fetch the desk chair from his office.

Ed sat across from Tron, his back perfectly straight, though it still took what felt like a herculean effort to look his oldest brother in the face. He could feel the galloping pace of his heartbeat in his throat as he hesitantly set the auto-injector on the table between them. It looked much like the one he usually carried with him: a fat white tube with a blue safety cap on one end and orange plastic tip on the other. Except rather than the yellow instructions label, the label on this one was white, and had in bold letters TRAINER. FOR PRACTICE ONLY on the top. It almost looked like an oversized toy of a ballpoint pen.

"I've been thinking about what you said," Ed started. "About... finding someone I trust to... administer the epinephrine in an emergency."

As much as Ed would rather just avoid the topic entirely and not think about it, the monitor did have a point. And while being near Tron still made Ed anxious, he did trust him, and that was sort of the point. If Ed could talk Tron through how to use the auto-injector, then maybe he could do the same with Alan without feeling so anxious about it. And if he could have that conversation with Alan, then surely talking anyone else through it wouldn't seem like such a monumental task.

"This one's meant for practice," he explained. "No needle or medicine, but the mechanism's the same."

Tron hadn't been sure what to expect when Ed had asked him to drop by after work hours were over. Something new for the Grid, perhaps, or a new plan of attack when it came to ensuring what was left of the dangerous arm of fCom couldn't do anything while Alan finished up negotiating buying out the assets and taking onboard as many of the staff as he could get away with.

Not this.

Surely Ed trusted Yori or Eve more, would have instructed them first.

But Yori still wasn't sure, although she knew Ed's extensive list of allergies by now and could keep them away from any food brought to the Grid. And Eve probably knew more in theory than most nurses, the amount of research she'd gotten her hands on, but hadn't learned the practical yet.

Beck probably knew how to use one, busy taking multiple first aid courses so he could help in any crisis. Some were focused on the potential disasters that could happen in a workshop or garage, but... not all. Always looking for new ways to help, that beta.

Inspecting the pen meant Ed didn't have to struggle with eye contact. Trainer?

Ah. A practical simulation, no real stakes if Tron didn't get it right first try. That made sense.

"I'm honoured you trust me with this." Tron told Ed quietly. "Thank you."
