But of course all this is only when you’re involved because in their eyes you are PRECIOUS to the ends of this Earth

Leorio is the one that’s always really weary of everything

He knows how you’re definitely not as strong as everyone else in the group and so he tries his best to point out danger before the disaster actually happens

ALSO this means there were lots of false alarms when Leorio thought something bad was going on but you guys were literally like in a cafe having lunch-

Gon is the one that follow Kurapika’s words the most -- he has lost of trust in Kurapika and he’d honestly hate himself if anything happened to you

Not that he doesn’t have a good sense of if there’s danger, but he doesn’t view himself as the most reliable so he just makes sure he’s prepared to protect at all times than constantly trying to find out if it’s safe or not

Killua is the most relaxed

He has a lot of trust in his abilities and honestly he is 100% sure that he would win any fight with anyone that’s trying to hurt you

Not to mention Killua’s pretty protective of the people that he cares about so you bet that absolutely nothing is going to be able to hurt you

I think he’ll say ‘listen’ a lot LOLOL just like ‘Y/N listen- no listen, that’s not it, listen-’

If he doesn’t apologize immediately during the argument then he’s probably never apologizing

But he doesn’t hold a grudge, he just moves on with his life after the argument and never really brings it up again

Poor Kurapika be in pain the whole time :((

HE HATES ARGUING and with his s/o??? He really is not having a good time

Paranoid the whole time that you’ll end it with him on the spot

I think he’ll be very good at wording his arguments so it doesn’t sound like he’s trying to invalidate your feelings/arguments

Seems like he’s not listening to you but he is -- he just doesn’t really show it

Probably won’t lash out at you though, Feitan already knows how this argument is going to go down before it even starts and he doesn’t want to make it a bigger deal than it already has to be by saying the wrong things

I think he’s very good at calming you down but he won’t do that until somewhere towards the end of the argument because this man believes that arguments are good for the relationship

It’s where both parties can share their concerns, plus if things get too intense emotionally he trusts that he’ll be able to ease the tension so he’s not that on guard this entire argument

After the fight he acts like nothing happened and goes back to normal because he doesn’t want a fight to tamper with the relationship too much

I think as a best friend, Kurapika would always be watching out for you like health, safety, all that

But at the same time you’d have to keep an eye on him and his own self care

So really it’s just a battle between you two forcing each other to take care of themselves asdhfkdjf

Kurapika’s usually a pretty serious person, but with you he can be goofy I JUST KNOW IT I JUST KNOW IT

I think he does have a suspicious side of him that’s very curious where this new friend is from and what their intentions are

But to him, his priority is making everyone feel welcomed and accepted so you bet he’ll do that in this situation as well

Why does someone want to suddenly join their friend group?

s/o that likes to wear long acrylics

Kurapika:

honestly never really even knew acrylics existed before you started wearing them

he’s seen people with long nails like yours but he always thought they just grew them out 

at first he’s very gentle when coming in contact with your nails

are they durable? will they break if he grips your hand too tightly? what if they get dirty?

can’t help but think about how his own hands would look with acrylics on (he would get designs that match his chains hehe)

really likes watching you do everyday tasks with those nails, just the colours and the designs are so mesmerizing 

once you offered to take him to do your nails and he didn’t get acrylics but he got a manicure and oh my goodness did he love it

*makes mental note to tell Leorio to get a manicure*

not comfortable enough to get long acrylics like yours yet he’ll get there one day

Also likes to paint your nails! When you’ve got acrylics on he’ll ask if he can put a solid colour layer on it just for fun

Loves spending quality time with you when he paints them so he definitely asks quite often 

If any of them break off he will quite literally freak out

Are you in pain? Are you bleeding? He’s going to schedule a new appointment right now as we speak

honestly thinks they look so nice on you and doesn’t mind the length at all

Feitan:

unlike Kurapika, he’s quite familiar with acrylics 

he’s been around enough snobby rich people for heists to know what they are

at first when you got them he thought they were really pointless

they’re so long can you even use your hands properly anymore? are you gonna be able to fight? 

will 100% annoy you by asking how you go to the bathroom with those nails

but he’s gotta admit those nails make you look hella cool

loves it when you run your hands through his hair and your nails act like a makeshift comb

loves the sound they make on the table when you tap them onto the surface

he begins to kinda like them, but if they break off or restrict your movements in any way he’s not gonna let you get another set after this one

starts to talk trash about everyone else’s nails because theirs don’t look as good as yours

your nails remind him of his own nails actually (since he can sharpen his own on command somehow)

Sometimes thinks about how they would be the perfect weapon if you just sharpened them up a lil bit more

once you got these black acrylics and yeah he’s gotta admit he was kinda jealous they looked so amazing

keeps you company whenever you’re getting them done because he likes to watch the entire process
