yes the peacock miraculous obviously needs to be felix's and is extremely significant to him and there's so much poetry about the fact that he is the holder of the very miraculous that created him and him being the holder of it is deeply entrenched into the plot. HOWEVER.

sometimes i miss the cat!adrien vs dog!felix dynamic. because it was really fucking funny

Gabriel didn’t just threaten to kill Felix, he actually attempted it.

With what we know now, putting the akuma in his ring was a death sentence.

If Felix hadn’t rejected the akuma then not only would Ladybug and Chat Noir have to break the ring but when they did they would have found both a feather and the akuma and WHO WANTS TO BET THEY WOULD HAVE HAD THE KNOWLEDGE TO NOT PURIFY BOTH.

Poor kid had to fight for his life, literally. We know how hard it is to reject the akumas but he didn’t have a choice, did he?

Also, consider this both proof that Gabriel was aware of this fact AND proof that Gabriel is just so so stupid..so stupid.

Y’all I missed this detail for so long: the split-second Félix realizes who’s in front of him, he throws his bag back into the bathroom!

I guess it’s not really anything major, but it’s kinda cool and funny to me that was able to think “Quick! Must hide the evidence!” and act on it so fast and make it barely noticeable. Cool character moment!

I just thought of something when watching Emotion again:

When Félix tried to bring back Marinette and failed, we (as viewers), figured out fairly quickly it was because she was not Marinette at the moment but Ladybug. But Félix doesn't know that, so he was only thinking of Marinette as Marinette when he tried to bring her back, and he came to the conclusion that he couldn't control his powers as well as he thought he could (but we know it wasn't the case).

So would that mean if Félix knew that Marinette was Ladybug, he could have brought her back? (I'm almost certain the answer is "yes").

And here comes the interesting part:

Would that also mean for Adrien that as long as Gabriel doesn't know he's Chat Noir, Gabriel can control Adrien but cannot control Chat Noir (which is a significant advantage for Adrien even though he's not aware of it) (yet)?

🚘if it were an actual car, then why is tomoe gatekeeping that innovative car technology? why is her rich friend group still using regular cars with drivers?

🚘the amok might be in the seats, seatbelt or somewhere you automatically touch as a passenger so that you can speak your command and tatsu can obey

🚘gabriel saying "adrien noo!!" = kagami saying "tatsu let's go" which matches the theme of saying a sentis name followed by your command

Okay, but... I would LOVE to read a fic of just Adrien and Fèlix shenanigans. Because Fèlix cares deeply about Adrien and obviously has no idea how to express it, dude was actually planning on snapping the whole world away and spending the rest of his days with his cousin.

He also does not know about Chat Noir... literally the one thing he does not know, haha, so imagine Chat just trying to talk to him when he's Argos, or just being rude and annoying to Argos because he can't really express that anger when he's Adrien.

Just... guys. Their dymanic is so funny. So funny. Imagine them just clashing heads as Chat Noir and Argos and then perfectly respectable to one another as civilians. It's so funny to me. I also was a bit influenced by buggachat, but like Fèlix would never guess that Adrien and Chat Noir are the same person because he has this whole image of Adrien being weak-willed and passive and then there's Chat just being aggressive and angry, so he would never guess.

And his reaction when he finds out would be so funny. Ahhh. I would read a hundred fics of just that, to be honest.

The imagery in this - Felix, my heart :( And the way it was all done in those white suits / masks, like they were blank sheets for others to draw upon.... When he finally takes off the mask and shows his true face, then faces the 'camera' directly and asks when why his father didn't love him, it's just so powerful. This was one of the most moving scenes they have ever done.

Unlike Adrian, Felix understood that Lady Bug was in love with Adrian, just as Adrian was in love with her, but Felix for some reason did not help his cousin in this.

Felix has never cared about Adrian's love experiences.

On the contrary, Felix always did everything so that Adrian would not have the opportunity to be happy.

Why, then, do all the viewers persist in claiming that Felix danced with Marinette and saved her for Adrian?

Felix cares about Adrian solely as a senti brother.

And he was saving Marinette not for Adrien, but because he himself was interested in her and hoped that Adrien did not have serious feelings for Marinette. That's why Felix didn't mention Marinette in front of Adrien and Kagami.

But Felix will stop at nothing to achieve what he wants!
