i love a primer that gets it! i need a primer that is going to smooth out of complexion, and won’t let up on my foundation. the foundation that i’m going to put over it shouldn’t shift or crease or look messy.

mac pro long wear concealer nw 40

this is a classic for a reason because it WORKS. i started with this concealer and have tried a litany of different concealers as recommended by influencers, but i continue to come back to mac. again, i love that once it’s set, it does not move! i love flawless makeup, and this definitely contributes to a flawless finish. this is the concealer i use to highlight with BEFORE i put my foundation on.

i have tried many setting powders in my years, from all price points, and this is by far my favorite. i set my makeup with this powder for an outdoor wedding in florida when it was like 90° and my makeup still looked kissable at the end of the night, ok?

my makeup isn’t complete if my cheeks aren’t sculpted. this adds the depth and the warmth i crave. i’m not a huge blush girl, but this adds the color to my face i need, while not washing e out or making me look ashy.

Hi everyone,

So as we’ve worked out by now I adore Fenty Beauty, every time I walk past the counter I get so excited to see so many shades and products that actually match my skin tone. After trying the foundation and primer and loving it I was watching Fenty tutorials on YouTube and everyone and their mother was talking about the Fenty Beauty Pro Filt’r Mini Instant Retouch Setting Powder in the shade Butter (such a long name 😂) . This setting powder is just magic, it blurs pores and leaves your skin looking smooth just like a Snapchat filter. I’ve worn this powder for a new weeks now and I genuinely see a massive difference in my skin when I use this product, it leaves my skin looking so flawless and yet it doesn’t dry it out.

This version is the mini travel size which cost £17.00 the original size is £24.00 but I decided to get the mini one to test it out and see if it’s worth the hype. I didn’t want to spend £24.00 on a powder incase I didn’t like it but let’s be honest it’s fenty we’re all gonna love it. There are 4 other Setting Powder shades for a range on skin tones from pale to deep tones which is great, I think that’s one of the biggest points about FENTY Beauty is that it is so damn inclusive I just love it. When I wear this powder I genuinely don’t have to powder or touch up my makeup for a good 7+ hours. Normally I don’t use loose powders just because I find them messy but this powder has effortlessly changed my mind.

If you love loose powder or want to try something new this is a great gem to try.

FENTY BEAUTY - SEPHORA EVENT

Aloha! Opět se na mě usmálo štěstí a já se stal jedním z deseti výherců soutěže, kterou pořádala Sephora. A co jsem vlastně vyhrál? Vstup na VIP akci, na které se v plné parádě představila značka, na kterou mnozí z vás už dlouho čekali - samozřejmě, že mluvím o Fenty Beauty! A já vám dnes popíšu, jaká tato akce byla! :)

Akce začínala v 19:00; předepsaný dress code: “black & white with a touch of street style”. Tak jsem na sebe hodil all black s bílým grafitti na sobě a vyrazil jsem. Odškrtnutí z guest listu a já mohl začít plnými doušky prožívat atmosféru, která panovala v Sephoře.

A jelikož jsem na akci vyrazil sám a nikoho jsem neznal, za chvilku už mi na rameno klepala má stará známá (čtěte jako úzkost) a já začal cítit menší paniku. Přeci jen se považuji za introverta, a proto, pokud jsem vám na akci připadal tišší, neberte si to osobně; takový prostě jsem.

Ale zpátky k akci. Před oficiálním zahájením jsem stihnul vyfotit většinu produktů, které byly vystaveny na displayi Fenty Beauty a některé jsem stihnul i swatchnout.

A už zde bylo oficiální představení FB! Proslov, detaily ohledně Fenty Beauty a slavnostní odhalení celého displaye samotné značky! Konfeti, šampaňské a potlesk!

A začalo bouřlivé swatchování všeho! :)

Nyní vám popíšu jednotlivé produkty tak, jak jsem je vnímal a jak mě oslovily!

Pro Filt’r - Instant Retouch Primer - super konzistence, vyhlazující; ovšem nedokážu si ho představit pro mastnější/problémovou pleť; obsahuje silikony - (830 Kč)

Pro Filt’r - Soft Matte Longwear Foundation - ať už máte odstín pleti jakýkoliv, tady si vyberete. Neskutečných 40 odstínů a cena? Také velmi příjemná - 860 Kč

Match Stix Matte Skinstick - tuhé korektory; opět velmi mnoho odstínů. Já na tyto tuhé produkty obecně moc nejsem, ale když se “rozehřejí”, dá se s nimi pracovat poměrně jednoduše - 630 Kč

Match Stix Shimmer Skinstick - tuhé rozjasňovače; na výběr z 10 krásných odstínů; pigmentované moc pěkně, jen opět horší manipulace - 630 Kč

Killawatt Freestyle Highlighter - rozjasňovače, na které asi všichni čekali. Obecně se dá říct, že je pigmentace úžasná. Některé odstíny (Metal Moon; Fire Crystal) působí poněkud křídově, ale jinak se tyto rozjasňovače opravdu povedly - 860 Kč

Gloss Bomb Universal Lip Luminizer - lesky na rty, ten v odstínu Fenty Glow naprosto super, krásná barva, nelepí, za mě super. Novinka v odstínu Diamond Milk byla pro mě však zklamáním - lesk s mléčnou barvou a velkými třpytkami, bohužel nic speciálního - 430 Kč

Stunna Lip Paint Longwear Fluid Lip Color - krásná, rudá a pigmentovaná - takhle by se dala shrnout tato tekutá rtěnka od Fenty Beauty. Balení také naprosto úžasné, povedený aplikátor, za mě super - 570 Kč

Diamond Bomb All-Over Diamond Veil - nový, gelovo-pudrový rozjasňovač v odstínu “How Many Carats” mě velmi zaujal konzistencí - působí až skoro mastně, ale pigmentace je super; efekt mě již tak neoslovil - tento rozjasňovač zanechá na pleti hezké, ale velké, stříbrné třpytky - 960 Kč

Mattemoiselle Plush Matte Lipstick - krásné, tuhé rtěnky v 14 odstínech; ať už se jedná o odstíny na každodenní nošení nebo ty, které jsou poněkud extravagantní; tektura úžasná, rty nevysušují; jediné, čeho bych se bál, je výdrž, ale uvidíme - 470 Kč

Moroccan Spice - slavná paletka Moroccan Spice má velmi pěkné balení a z toho, co jsem oswatchoval, jsem byl nadšený - třpytivé stíny pigmentací neselhaly a matné krásně překvapily; za mě na jedničku - 1340 Kč

Během akce jsem se seznámil s mnoha fajn lidmi; ať už se jedná o Tomáše (jasonnchipp_makeup), Blanku (BeautyKoktejl) a nebo Terezu. (terezaskrdlova).

Potkal jsem i úžasnou Míšu (beha_nguyen) která si všimla mé tiché povahy, ale i přesto jsme spolu prohodili pár slov a tímto bych rád poděkoval za rady ohledně fotek a za krásnou selfie! :)

Také se mi podařilo zvěčnit mou maličkost a krásně bláznivou Koki; kterou všichni určitě znáte!

Nebyla nouze o naprosto DOKONALÉ (a velmi chutné) občerstvení...

Z akce jsem odcházel před půl desátou a při odchodu jsme dostali krásné dárečky od Sephory - které bych tímto chtěl také moc poděkovat.

Pro mě, jako pro menšího “beauty bloggera”, byla možnost se účastnit této akce opravdu čest a jsem za tuto další zkušenost velmi vděčný!
