Artfight Attack for Amayaisokay that I did last month. I had a lot of fun with the background, its the pirate city of tortuga on the back of a turtle dragon from A starlit sea as seen from the ghost ship that belongs to Fergus Hadler II. Captain Reizedera and her are relaxing and getting to know each other better. I had trouble nailing down the poses. It was my first step back into using limited references and I think my anatomy mental library has improved during draw everything june. They're not perfect but I'm plenty happy with what I have done.

Legendary Kings of Scotland (by Jacob Jacobsz de Wet II):

61: Etfinus. Áed Find (Áed the White), or Áed mac Echdach (before 736–778), was king of Dál Riata (modern western Scotland and County Antrim, Ireland). Áed was the son of Eochaid mac Echdach, a descendant of Domnall Brecc in the main line of Cenél nGabráin kings. According to later genealogies, Áed was the great-grandfather of Kenneth MacAlpin (Cináed mac Ailpín) who is traditionally counted as the first king of Scots. 63: Fergus III (Fergus mac Echdach; 778-781). He succeeded Áed Find. He is stated to have been a son of Eochaid mac Echdach, and thus a brother of Áed.

64: Solvathius (Selbach mac Ferchair). He (died 730) was king of the Cenél Loairn and of Dál Riata. Selbach's existence is well-attested as he is mentioned repeatedly in Irish annals.

On July 13th 1249 Alexander III, was crowned King of Scots at Scone.

Son of Alexander II, and a direct descendant of the first king of the Scots, Kenneth mac Alpin, Alexander was born at Roxburgh in 1241.

Walter Bower, canon of Inchcolm writing some 200 years later described the coronation as such:

In accordance with the custom which had grown up in the kingdom from antiquity right up to that time, after the solemn ceremony of the king's coronation, the bishops with the earls brought the king to the cross which stands in the cemetery at the east end of the church. With due reverence they installed him there on the royal seat which had been bedecked with silk cloths embroidered with gold. Two years later,aged about 10, he married Margaret, daughter of King Henry III of England. He had been "engaged" to her from infancy.

He became a strong ruler and as a result of his marriage there was little conflict with England. He successfully defeated an invasion by King Haakon of Norway at the Battle of Largs in 1263. Following this, the Treaty of Perth transferred the Hebrides and the Isle of Man to Scotland from Norway. As part of the peace-making, his daughter married Haakon's grandson, Eric II - their daughter Margaret later became Queen of Scotland, well on paper anyway.

Alexander's first wife died in 1275 and the death of his sons, David in 1281 and Alexander in 1284, left him without a male heir. Alexander married a second time in order to produce a direct heir. His bride was Yolande of Dreux, but on 19th March 1286, within six months of his marriage, his horse stumbled in the dark in Fife as he was returning to his wife and he died at the foot of the cliff.

Chiaki is Frankenstein's Monster (call her Fran). She looks great and all but besides the love of electricity and childlike mannerisms, not sure Chiaki fits Fran's animal like berserkness and tragic need for love.

Mahiru is Boudica. I can say for certainty this is solely due to Red hair and mother like qualities. Pretty sure we shouldn't compare Mahiru to someone whose entire purpose in Fgo is being that meme person who really hates the Roman Empire (ironically the founder of Rome is her best partner in battle), has big boobs, has a terrible skillset in battle, and is defined by her backstory of losing the war against the Roman Empire and had to watch her daughters be relentlessly raped by them before most likely being forced to join them which lead to her falling into despair and killing herself.

Ibuki is Nobunaga. This is solely cuz of the amount of fourth wall breaking chibi style comedic relief and crazy hijinks. (Nobu Nobu Nobu? Nobu Nobu Nobu Nobu Nobu! Nobu? Nobu Nobu! Nobu...)

Mikan is Skadi. I have no idea why. What does shy and clumsy as fuck Mikan have in common with a wise nordic giantess with insecurities about being single and unmarried?

Hiyoko is BB. BB and Hiyoko might both be detestable trollish pieces of shit who keep fucking people over and getting away with it, but comparing Hiyoko to essentially AI Junko Enoshima on crack is a bit too far.

Kazuichi is Nikola Tesla. Electricity. Master Inventor. Eccentric mofo. I approve.

Sonia is Marie Antoinette. Princess/Queen like character. I can see that. (Tho we should also try to look out for Marie Alter cuz that bitch is crazy as fuck and wants everyone to experience how it felt when the guillotine beheaded her). Tho Sonia wishes she was as much a cinnamon roll as Marie.

Gundham is Ozymandias/Rameses II. Boisterous mofos collide. I approve. (Sidenote: Ozy is voiced by Dio. KONO OZY DA!!!)

Izuru is of course Dr. Roman's true identity as King Solomon, King and Progenitor of All Magic. All magic apparently stems from him, motherfuckers. All hail the character we will never get and wish he would come back.

Nagito is Edmund Dantes. Only cuz of Memes based on similar looks. Nagito has nothing on Dantes's year long pursuit for revenge. Tho I guess they both were "saved" by the woman they loved most in the world.

Twogami is Julius Caesar. Only cuz they are chubby charismatic likeable people.

Peko is Tomoe. FUCK YEAH I APPROVE. Peko would totally be Tomoe. Why do you think I made Tomoe her Persona in my headcanon. It fits her SO MUCH TO A T.

Fuyuhiko is Rama. Why? What does Fuyu have in common with a guy who kills demon kings with an army of monkeys cuz they stole his wife yet was also cursed to die whenever him and his wife would ever meet? (Poor Rama in fgo, all he wants is to be with his wife again but destiny keeps screwing him over by killing him seconds before his wife reaches where he is).

Nekomaru is Iskandar/Alexander the Great. Solely due to being super muscular likeable badass motivators of living a great life. Nekomaru clearly doesn't want to conquer lands and rule the world.

Akane is Francis Drake. Only cuz of giant cleavage window alone. Akane ain't no pirate queen with literal flying sea ships with giant laser cannons.

And Teruteru is Fergus. Only because both of them are a super perverts with mindsets primarily filled only about banging women and having sex. Teru is no ripped Chad with a drill sword that shoots rainbow lasers from the ground. (Sidenote: Fergus's drill sword, Caladbolg, translates to "Hard Blade". Yes it's a dick joke.")

Wednesday 100: Morning Moments

"And what're ye doing there, young Fraser?"

Willie turns to Murtagh with bright, overly innocent eyes — clearly learned from Fergus. Jamie was usually brasher as a child, and Claire likely didn't apologize for herself either.

Woefully: "It's cold out, e'en if she's got a coat."

"Aye, and she'll be warm enough in the barn. Besides, I dinna think yer auntie Jenny'll much care for dirty prints from you both all 'cross the floors."

Willie begins looking stubborn. Murtagh prepares to bargain him upstairs, but secretly he's glad. After seeing the lad so ill, it’s good to have him returned to form.

Willie is not in his place in the bed, tucked between his siblings and a snuffly Claire, but Jamie doesn't panic. Still, when there's no sign in the nursery, or the kitchen, or the yard...

Jamie takes the stairs two at a time, remembering Willie curled up beneath the desk listening to Fergus's lessons. Through the study door, he hears his son's voice.

"And d'ye—d'ye think she'll have puppies then?"

"No' if she kens what's good for her," grumbles Murtagh. Jamie, not fooled, grins and relaxes. His godfather will soften toward any pups, just as he softens for his grandchildren.

Wednesday 100: Scars II

Jamie hadn’t realized at first that Faith was tracing patterns on his back, her touch feather-light. They were dozing on the riverbank with Fergus, their afternoon of fishing having proved unsuccessful, so they had dipped into the water to cool off. Fergus stretched out beside him, and Faith curled up with Jamie, her head resting on his sun-warmed back, her knees poking his side.

“Did Mama fix you up?” She pressed on one scar — didn’t ask how it happened, only if Claire had healed him.

He felt a lump in his throat. Maybe not those scars, but… “Aye, she did.”

PINNACLE PEAKS' YEAR ONE SUMMARY PART II

Officer Harper decided a police dog would be a good addition to the neighborhood and help her on her patrols. So she called an old friend and Pinnacle Peaks had gained not only one but two new residents within a week.

In addition to managing the settlement's daily affairs and having to play mediator between resident scientists, the SimCity government and the SCIA, Finley had another big project planned: Establishing the power supply for Pinnacle Peaks. And she knew just the sim who could help her! Together with their aspiring city planner and brightest physicist the three of them startet the planning-process.

With fall coming to an end so did the construction of the windfarm and electrical substation. The town funds were pretty much depleted, but everybody was happy to finally have more electricity than what their rooftop solar and photovoltaic cells were producing.

Just before the first snow fell, Finley managed to have a radio-telescope and -tower built as well as some telephone poles. Since the SCIA offered to pay half it only cost the town 5,000§.

Over the course of the first year many new relationships blossomed and old ones deepened.

Flora and Carter discovered that their feelings of friendship had changed into something more. And after years of being friends, they didn't need a lot of time to decide that they had found their forever person in each other.

Caleb and Quinn started to spend more time together and soon had their first date.

Bree had unexpectedly found a friend in jasper. And although the two would never admit it to themselves or to others, there was definitely some flirting going on.

Niamh and Rae spent many summer nights camping out near their fields. They stayed up till long into the night talking, and sometimes doing... other stuff. But they both weren't quite sure what and if they were ... anything?

To everybody's surprise, Finley and Fergus started dating, after Fergus kissed the mayor when they bumped into each other at the farmer's shop one day in autumn.

To celebrate winterfest, Finley organized a Secret Santa Gift Exhange. Some were more excited than others, but overall everybody was happy with what they got.

And Finley, who was really pleased with herself for having the idea was even more pleased to see everybody get along so well after this first eventful year...

But just as the year was coming to an end, a visitor arrived and disturbed the quiet of Pinnacle Peaks. The SCIA had sent Agent Callista Silva to check on Pinnacle Peak's progress. And while Finley made sure to show her around and checked all the boxes of hospitality and friendlyness, she was relieved, when the agent finally left again.

And that marks the end of Pinnacle Peaks first year.
