What an incredible experience! I led an exceptional team of fighters, warriors, and practitioners in the Texas State Wide Fight Competition, participating in “Continuous Sparring,” “Weapons,” “Forms,” and “Demo Teams.” We achieved Gold in each category and now have the opportunity to compete at the National Level in the TKO fight league.

Congratulations to all the kids who poured their hearts into the fights, delivered impactful weapon performances, and displayed remarkable courage stepping onto the mat in front of numerous judges and other schools. We faced strong competition from Karate, Kickboxing, Kung Fu and MMA schools across the State, and I'm proud to say we stood out admirably.

I think I’m finally becoming more comfortable with having this belt and the title attached to it. I’m not one that likes the attention on me, I don’t like to be in the spotlight. But I’ve been thinking that maybe I can use this for good. I want people at the club to see this belt and title and be comfortable coming to me for advice and to ask questions, knowing they’re going to get good answers and advice. I want to be a good face for @kwestmuaythai. I want to represent the club in a positive light and encourage new people to come and try our amazing sport at our amazing club. I want people to pick me as their partners in class, knowing they’re going to get a good partner, one that won’t hit them too hard, or go beyond their level and make class unenjoyable for them. But most of all, I want to inspire others, especially the many young girls in our kids program, and show them that girls can do anything. There may be more boys in this sport, but girls can be just as successful. I’m very proud to have this belt, I worked hard for it and I believe I deserved it. Plus, I’m 3-0 now. Another Achievement :LPU students won 1st prize at National Level Robotics Event

LPU B.Tech students recently won at NIT Delhi where they participated in a National Level Robotics Event. The team bagged the 1st prize in Robo Fight and secured the 2nd position in the Puck Collector. We are elated by their achievement and wish that they all achieve every dream before they even thought of it to happen.

In the last few years, robotics activities in India have moved well beyond the traditional areas of industrial applications and entered newer domains of education, rehabilitation, entertainment, and even into our homes. Indian robotics researchers have similarly grown from a handful to over a hundred engaged in research labs, education, industry, atomic energy, etc.

Many of us feel that it is about time to form an academic society to further augment our robotics activities and for better interaction among ourselves. With this objective, The Robotics Society organizes the main event every year, and the events are Advances in Robotics (AIR) and Workshop on Robotics, held alternatively.
