"take some deep breaths for me, won't you, darling?" it's the end of an excitable night for you and your lover – panting and salivating with the fresh heat emanating from the both of you, a satisfactory result of the past few moments.

you nod your head in response.

"breathe nice and easy for me, love."

you can feel wriothesley every so gently tilting your head upwards, prying your mouth open with the tip of his finger – you feel a rush of cool water soothing your throat and his fingers running through your hair as you lean against his shoulder. he's warm – warmer than you think he'd be for a cryo wielder.

"there we go. slowly."

you both take a few moments to recover – the silence is comfortable, never awkward. it's never awkward with him.

"was i good?" you break the silence.

"hm?"

"was i good tonight?" you peek out at him from under the covers, silently wishing for an affirmative. wriothesley sits closer to you, pulling you to his chest.

"baby – hey. you already know what i'm going to say, you were the very best," wriothesley replies – a soft kiss is pressed to your forehead, a gentle reassurance that he loved it. he loved you.

"i'm proud of you."

Back with my One Piece 3D: Straw Hat Chase bs again!!

a little update.. what i'm working on/prologue changes so far:

no prologue! it’s chapter 1 now

removed the option to leave clementine behind. you have to take them with you :3c

removed height options (sorry!)

in general, edited the cc to flow better

combat preferences have been adjusted-- all still the same but i've made it more obvious how each specialty works mechanically which will hopefully make fights more intuitive to win (or lose, if you want)

genderlocked the sibling. officially a Sister

edited a LOT of dialogue; hopefully it's an improvement and feels more natural

restructured the wraith fight so that it's consistent with the fight in blackwater. with the changes made to the combat preferences this should make the combat system overall cohesive now <- i'm still working on this currently but i am HOPING to finish it by the end of this month.

i have pretty much rewritten the entire prologue. wasn't my plan at the start but here we are... so things are quite different. but also the same. i also streamlined a lot of the choices & branches and cut/combined ones that i felt were just excessive.

i plan to update once i've finished making & importing these changes, and i will probably limit the demo to chapter 1 (previously the prologue) until i get through and edit chapter 2 (previously chapter 1) because i really don't want to have the demo be inconsistent for however long it takes me to get through the next edits. hopefully this will not take that long, and then i'll put chapter 2 & and part 1/what's already been published of chapter 3 back up. and then!!! i will move on to finishing chapter 3.

i know this probably isn't the update you all were hoping for but i'm excited for the next steps with tnp :-)

#ch1... is going to be a beast to edit but hopefully won't need as much as the prologue... hopefully....#i dont plan to completely rewrite it in the same way but uh. i didnt plan to do that with the prlg either so 🙈#hoping to update the end of this month or in september. the combat is taking me way longer than i thought #but im working on the 2 part branch first. the other one is mostly automatic successes with only 1 choice #so should go faster. im close enough that im getting very antsy LOL hence making this post #and i know importing will probably take a few days too once the writing is done #i want to update this month or september at the latest this is my accountability post #and i would like to get the demo fully rereleased by october but. we'll see mdnfkhgk

Ngl definitely thinking back to the cartoon-making chapter now we know that Twilight doesn't realise studying/pursuit of knowledge can be fun. No wonder the cartoon he made sucked. He was approaching it purely from the educational angle with zero idea of the entertainment aspect that makes edutainment programming effective.

It's not that he was really bad at writing the fun parts. He plain didn't realise there were meant to be any in the first place for it to work.

Copying the aesthetics with no understanding of what was underneath.

#like yeah you could tell the first time around he had all his priorities wrong but with the added context from the latest chapters #you realise just how ridiculously off base he was #spy x family #sxf manga spoilers #anyway something about how he's tried to adapt his teachings for anya to some extent but a mix of anya's upbringing + his own has stymied #this. anya doesn't do well with 'traditional' study methods + has associations with those but also loid thinks what worked for him could #work for her. and he's (as he spells out) learnt purely for survival. it's a very different situation + anya doesn't /have/ to.#but loid has tried. yuri has tried. both with varying levels of success for all their missing info on anya. until finally siggy's approach.#sth sth community to raise a child but also different teaching styles but also being willing to meet on anya's level.#making positive associations with learning rather than the negative ones everyone else has
