We started our software design and engineering course on August 15, 2024, with a class orientation and a syllabus review during our most recent meeting. This made it very evident to us what to anticipate and how our world would be judged.

We also spent some time getting to know our classmates by introducing ourselves to one another. We felt more bonded as a group and had a clear grasp of the course structure by the end of the session, so it was a great beginning to our trip in this course.

First day.

Last week, on Thursday was our first day of class as a junior. As usual, the first day was more on introducing ourselves even if we have known each other ever since freshmen. Our instructor also introduce the syllabus for this subject and provides head ups as well.

They said that this year will be the most difficult and will destroy our well-being, so I hope we can endure any pain and suffering on this subject and just look on the brighter side, as the quote said "NO PAIN, NO GAIN", therefore I must stay 'till the end.

Week one

beginning this project, I don't have an idea of what tools I'll be using beyond Miro has a tool to document my process and plan my project. My current challenges going forward are narrowing down my broad idea, to a more specific achievable task. To get to that, I'll be brainstorming through my idea, looking at other pre-existing precedents, and talking with my stream lecturer to get to that goal.

Getting back into my last sem of uni has been pretty big for me, this being our last sem I'm quite anxious at the thought of "real life" beginning has been weighing pretty heavy on me. However I'm still really excited to end my degree strong, with a passion project I'm ready to give my all to.

Weeeee!!!! I can't believe tomorrow is already going to be December💙. As mentioned before for December I have two things I'm doing. One is going to be Smaus, the first one will be posted tomorrow (look out for "what?"). And then I will be doing a 12 days before Christmas, first one will be posted on December 13th. Also some request I have gotten that were about Christmas or are about other things. So December will be a busy month indeed but I'm so excited to share these things will everyone.

Techno First Week

Taking up Berkely Innovation Index you must be honest in order to have an accurate result. My result was very accurate I got 22.67 in Trust; I don’t usually trust people easily because not everyone is worthy to trust I learned during these years that not everyone can be trusted. In Resilience I got 85.0 result because I don’t see failures as the end game of everything that every story of success there are failures you will encounter and that is normal that I should use it as an inspiration and learning opportunity in order to grow and be better. Diversity 100 percent because I learned in my younger years from my grandmother that I should respect everyone despite of our social or religion differences and now it is so applicable because I encounter people from all different sectors of this society. Belief 88.67 percent because believing in yourself will make you more confident and will never be distracted to your endeavors. Allocation 85.0 I always believe in this saying that “time for work is for work, time for leisure is for leisure.” That is something I’m still applying in my personal life up until now it helps me to balance everything. For Collaboration 95.0 it so important to go out to your comfort zone and meet other people as creative as you because with those interaction you’ll learn from them and from you also and with exchanging of idea and collaboration you create something beautiful. Comfort zone 63.33 being adaptive to changes and learning something new always make my life colorful. Innovation zone 72.0 your imagination must turn into reality no matter what you should always be inspired and be ready to any idea that can help society. For the MBTI the result for my personality type was the Campaigner I admit that this is true because I like to interact with other people and promote future brands.

Making pottery week 1

Yesterday in pottery we started off by the class showing off our four-matching bowls for the first project. My bowls were not exactly matching, but at least were close. Travis, the professor said I just need to spend a little more time making sure I line up my lengths correctly. After, Travis did the first demo on trimming the bowls. Trimming can be pretty difficult, and he said we should trim through a few because its all our first time doing it. When I started on my first trim, I did end up trimming through it. On my second one however, I was actually one of the only ones who completed one successfully. After trimming I stared on my first serving bowl. Serving bowls can be difficult because we need to use about three times the clay we did with our matching bowls. With the matching we used 2 pounds, but with the serving bowls we use six pounds.
