as someone who's main pov is spiderbit, watching how fitpac developed from q!pac saying "bye big daddy" at the hide and seek arena and q!fit getting so flushed and having a gay panic so he barely found the right teleport on the waystone, to both of them confessing that they like each other in the cutest way possible and having dates!! made me so happy! but i feel that the great impact that guapoduo had as being the first canon couple outside of the pairs that were initially established and the first marriage on the island made people think that this is a patter to be followed, but that's not how things work. i understand that they are used as an example of love several times by the characters on the island themselves, but it's unfair to pressure other couples to conform to expectations that don't make sense to them. the way q!cellbit and q!roier built their relationship and show their love is not a rule to be followed, in fact, I think it's difficult to replicate and make it work as well as they did... each character is unique and everyone is different that's the best part of it all. if q!fit and q!pac never get married that doesn't mean their love is any less true, they are the only ones who can choose how they want their relationship to be like. without any pressure of how they should act, what they should do or say. i hope they continue to do things in their own time, with the respect, patience and affection they feel for each other which is lovely to watch. MORE QUEER REPRESENTATION!

Pac comes back from purgatory.

It was hell but it had its moments of fun. Bonded with new people and survived every plague thrown at them.

But when he gets back. He cries tears of joy. Finally his home. He doesn't have to worry about disasters every hour and eye looking creatures. He celebrates and goes to spawn to see everyone gathering and relieved everything is going to be fine.

"Pac!"

He sees Fit in the distance and run, as fast as he can. Fit is running too. Pac is with an expression that Fit interpret as anguish and anxiety but also... Hope?

Pac doesn't even say anything and just hugs him, making Fit almost fall but he's a strong man, he can take it. And Pac hugs him so hard. Fit is little surprised, with the feeling of seeing Pac again, with the feeling of the warm. But he doesn't hesitate, just hugs him back just as tight, trying to contain his emotions to not overflow.

They stay quiet for a couple seconds, just hugging each other like no one's around. Fit can feel that Pac is crying, trembling and murmuring things in his chest.

"Are you okay Pac?"

"I will be... Can we leave for a quieter place?" Everyone is talking with each other at spawn, making a mess celebrating that everyone is back.

Pac is still hugging him, Fit doesn't complain.

They teleport to Fit & Ramon and go to Fit's room. Pac sit on the bed sighting relived.

"Sorry, I sitted here without asking, oh my god I'm all dirty and sweat sorry sorry" Pac's already standing.

"No no no, don't worry. You can seat wherever you want, don't worry about that. I can change the bed's clothes or whatever. Feel free to do whatever you like."

"Thank you Fit" Pac sits again.

So they talk. Mostly Pac. He talks all about the hell he went through. Fit who was standing now is sitting next to Pac. And Fit notices, every little -and big- new cut and wound. The messy hair and the dirty clothes, how Pac looks so tired. And Fit is so annoyed about that, how he couldn't protect him from all this. When Pac stops talking there is an awkward silence.

"Are you okay Fit?"

"Yeah just- I wish- I wish I was there."

"Oh c'mon, you don't need to say that. You have to take care of Ramon, right? I mean, I didn't need to worry to much because Richas still has Forever but-"

Fit holds Pac's hand with a serious look and Pac seems nervous.

"I missed you."

And Pac looks suprised, but doesn't move.

"I missed you too"

They stay like this for a moment.

"Can we have a date without dungeons, please?" Pac says with a laughing tone. "I'm kinda of tired from fighting."

Fit laughs in response and look away ashamed that he admitted it was a date.

"Of course, I mean, we can go on a adventure another day"

"Ooh yeah, I need a bath Fit! I'm stinking!" Pac says with a joking tone.

"Oooh god!" Fit laughs.

And they joke and make fun of one another.

They never leave each others hands.

Think combination Frankenstein+ Monster and Capitan America style scientifically created supersoldier... But reverse.

So Pac is a scientist who specializes in chemistry and biology (with a dash of mechanics... Unless Mike handles that) who recently signed up to rehabilitate, heal, and re-humanize chemically-created supersoldiers after the end of a recent war (because leaving them crippled, traumatized, and dehumanized in more ways than one is no way to honor them for their service... As long as they're no longer of good use)

Fit was a particularly powerful and infamous super soldier, one of the first actually. (So leaving him on active duty would be seen as a threat to other countries). But... Beyond that, he's also very very badly injured.

Becoming a chemical and partly mechanical monstrosity isn't exactly good for you, so it's sort of expected that even if you don't die during the transformation process, you'll either die sometime afterwards or at least much earlier than the regular human life expectancy. Going through a whole damn war definitely didn't help. (I'm thinking maybe blown up by specially designed "End" crystal explosions at least 35786543 times). So by the time the war was over, he was more or less found in an explosion-torn ditch in the middle of the wasteland, surrounded by corpses, entirely unable to move, and in constant unimaginable pain (he's still pretty much in constant pain all the time btw. Everything hurts). There's little-to-no chance he'll ever fight again.

This is where Pac comes in.

Something interesting about q!Fit is that he is a good liar when he needs to be, especially regarding his mission.

He is really good with misdirecting people by making it seem like he is lying and his ability to subtly change the subject or brush any suspicion off of him is really impressive when you know his whole lore.

Like every time I see him do it I just go "OHHH HES GOOD" because the other person has literally no idea what he is really hiding and it just makes the plot so much more interesting and intense :D
