Legends on the 4th of July
Bangalore:
-A patriot of the works she celebrates to honor those who have fallen.
-She does use this time to think of her brother Jackson. How he would have loved to be here too.
-But when Loba comes around with smoke grenades and a contagious smile, she can’t help but take a handful and light them. “Smoke out!”
Bloodhound:
-They’re no stranger to loud sounds. But these..
-These sounds pierce through their ears and through their very skin. It’s unnerving.
-But when they see Fizroy walking towards them with, in his hand he holds out a pair of ear plus.
-“‘ere you are. These’ll help.”
Caustic:
-He locks himself in his lab. He doesn’t care about this holiday and he doesn’t care about the festivities outside.
-He isn’t working on his recipes or anything. He just sits there. Jumping at the loud pops of the fireworks.
-In his mind he relieves memories with his mother. How he does miss her. Pop.
-Then he is back where he is. In pain and alone.
Crypto:
-Though he would rather spend his time inside. He does choose to be outside. This beautiful night is intoxicating.
-He stands on the sidelines there is a certain someone he watches with a certain peace.
-Wattson points excitedly to the sparklers and grabs a couple for the two to share in the colorful shapes that they make together
Fuse:
-This is his night. He planned nearly everything and it’s running so perfectly planned.
-The smell of sulfur and potassium nitrate is all he can smell aside from Makoa’s cooking. But man, it smells so good.
-He does take notice of Bloodhounds tenseness. And even Wraith looking distracted.
-He takes out some ear plugs for Bloodhound. But for Wraith, he offers her his Walkman player and headphones. Perhaps it would be a good distraction from whatever she’s distracted by.
Gibraltar:
-He stands by the grill trying to urge Witt to take it easy and let him take care of the cooking.
-He makes steaks, hamburgers, and (insisted upon by Witt) pork chops, rounds, and steaks.
-The corn also roasts on the upper part of the grill and he simply laughs with Horizon over Witts insisting to take over.
-So to distract him, Makoa asks Witt to make him a drink
Horizon:
-She knows she’s hovering over the food. But she wants to make sure she can get it out to people as quick as possible
-Besides, that she does take this time to talk with Makoa. She hardly had since she arrived so she used this time to really get to know this hero.
-When Makoa asks Witt for a drink she chuckles at the childish huff he gives in response. “Sure.”
-“Don’t be so rash dearie. We still love yer cookin.”
Lifeline:
-Incharge of the music and ready to party even a little bit.
-It’s been a stressful year and she needs some time to regroup herself.
-She dances with Octavio even though he is part of the many issues. But she still loves his like a brother.
Loba:
-She is able to get everything Walter wants and even gets A few things for some specific people
-Smoke bombs are one of the things she gets. Obviously for Anita. A small joke but she couldn’t help but snag these.
-She walks to Anita and catches a glimpse of morose in her eyes. And she can guess who it’s about.
-But before she can really walk away and give Anita some more time, their eyes meet and they both share in a smile. At the gag and in each others company.
Mirage:
-He’s a bit huffy about being voted off from being the cook.
-But it doesn’t stop him from trying to coax Makoa off the grill. After all he is the best at everything. Most of all cooking.
-But he is shooed away, being asked to make a drink. And a drink he shall make.
-He proceeds to make such strong drinks all night to whoever asks and even more so for Makoa.
-Who doesn’t get any more drunk than where He ends up at the end of the night.
Octane:
-He is caught by Che throughout the night to dance to a number of upbeat songs.
-He doesn’t mind since it reminds him of when they were younger
-But he did have Loba grab him some highly explosive materials that he was hoping to try out tonight.
-But a stare down from Che tells him that he has to be sneaky about it.
Pathfinder:
-He is enamored by the lights and sounds that little paper things.
-They’ve been popped in the cities where he worked before but this is the first time he has been this close
-Part of them are celebrating him but he is intrigued with the notion of the fallen hero’s
Rampart:
-She’s more sneaky than anyone can imagine
-While watching, she is able to duck away with the commotion of the beautiful fireworks
-What is she doing? She gladly takes Makoa’s drinks that Witt has been making.
-She’s a strong drinker so she doesn’t show any signs of being drunk until she decides to go and start one of the biggest sets about 5 feet from where everyone is.
Revenant:
-He is actually outside watching everyone
-But mostly to creep some people out whenever he holds sprinklers or Roman candles directly at himself
-It doesn’t hurt him, but he just finds their reactions amusing
-He even finds Ramya’s drunken mistake hysterical whenever everyone runs to avoid any backlash of heat
Valkyrie:
-She is able to fly and she is used to heat near her body from the jets
-So she hovers over everyone just high enough to hold Roman candles and chasers over everyone’s head but far enough away so they don’t get burned
-She’s fine with this gig as long as she’s given a beer every so often.
-Drinking upside down is so fun
Wattson:
-She stands in the center of attention in awe of the beautiful colors around her
-From the sidelines, she sees her friend Tae-Joon and brings him to the center so he may play with the sparklers too
-She can understand his hesitance but she wants to bring back a sense of normalcy for him
-No more hiding and no more worry just for this night
Wraith:
-She can hear it all through the realities
-Everything that goes wrong and all that goes right
-Pop Pop Pop is all she can hear and no matter if she covers her ears, she cannot escape the noise
-She is taken from the noise for a moment whenever Walter is handing her a cassette player.
-He doesn’t say anything but just smiles and hands her a cassette tape with “80’s best hits”
-Ifs a relic but she puts the tape in and hits play, slowly the popping noise fades into the music as just the beats.
-Then is when she is able to notice the beautiful colors of the night

Chapter 21
The soirée was a small intimate affair held at Lady Fitzroy’s atrium greenhouse and surrounding gardens. Daffodil wanted to beg off from attending, but her brothers insisted she attend. She now stood apart from everyone, feeling odd and out of place, more so than usual.
She’d tried to take part in conversations but instead, she just stood there, tongue-tied as talk flowed around her. The sounds of piano music reached her. A few couples including her brother, Grey were taking a turn on the dance floor in the next room. I should get some air, she thought. Why did she even come, there was no one here for her. Her thoughts were far away as she stood there, knowing she probably looked out of place, but this was nothing new to her.
Quin had been at Lady Fitzroy’s ball for close to 2 hours and still had yet to be formally introduced to Lady Axbridge. He was half listening to Uppton and Lord Fizroy, the husband of the hostess when he noticed two men glaring at him from across the room.
There was something familiar about them. Piercing eyes and matching unibrows, yes, they must be Lady Axbridge’s brothers. He could only guess the glares were a result of the gossip circling the rooms about him. He’d not been introduced to them but those he’d met wanted to know more about his life at sea, discreetly omitting what they’d heard of course.
He’d given an abridged version of his time at sea, leaving out the fact that he’d been a notorious and ruthless pirate known as The Lion. He opted not to walk about the rooms to interact with other guests as he’d noted a few military uniforms in the crowd and wanted to remain as inconspicuous as possible. He instead chose to stick close to Mr. Uppton for the evening. Uppton knew everyone there was to know and guests naturally stopped by to chat with him.
Saewulf had disappeared for most of the evening, but he’d just now reappeared and was standing at the piano in conversation with Lady Fitzroy.
Quin’s eyes drifted just beyond the colonel in the doorway of the adjoining room, and there she was, Lady Axbridge. She looked forlorn.
He wondered what could possibly be wrong. He watched as she walked outside and made his excuses so that he could follow her.

What if Fitzroy came along in Season One?
Imagine Fizroy and Porridge getting FED UP with the Princes and just pushing them together at every opportunity.
Oh and Fitzroy barking and looking at Amir every time he says "Fitz" to Rupert.
Amir: What was your dog's name again?
Rupert: Uh…"Rupert"
*Fitzroy doesn't react to the name*
Amir: You named your dog after your prince?
Rupert: Uh yah! I love ordering Rupert around. Makes me feel better after all the silly parties and… taxation.
Rupert: You'll have to forgive Rupert, he's not trained very well.
Amir: Yeah, well at least Rupert stopped waking me up by licking my face. Can you imagine waking up every morning to Rupert's wagging tongue?
*Rupert's brain stops*
