Super Part 1

When Oliver Queens co-vigilante little sister  decides to go to Central City with the cute CSI Barry Allen to see the particle accelerator turn something life changing happens. 

Characters: Reader, Oliver Queen, Barry Allen (Mentioned Felicity, Diggle)

“Ollie, I am going to Central City for one night I’m not moving there. I’m gonna take the train with Barry, watch the particle accelerator turn on and in the morning I’m catching the first train back to Starling.”

“I’m not saying you shouldn’t go, y/n I’m saying be careful. We just found out someone in this city is making Mirakuru and we have no idea how.” Saying your big brother was over protective would be the understatement of the year. You thought after having dealt with Malcom, the undertaking, your fathers list, your mother's trial, plus everything from the five years you were castaways, (Lian Yu was just scratching the surface of that nightmare), Oliver would have mellowed out a little.

You were just as good a vigilante as him, if not better, plus you weren’t a college drop out. When you got on the Queen’s Gambit the day it went down you were only three semesters away from a Biochemistry major.  All of your college plans were thrown out the window after returning from Lian Yu, but you were still insanely knowledgeable on most things science related which was more than a big help when the two of you were out being vigilantes.

“Which is why I’m coming back first thing tomorrow to help you, Digg and Felicity figure it out. You’ll be fine here for one night.” You had really had it with Olivers nonsense at this point. You were a grown woman, who is more than capable of handling herself for one night in the safest city around.

Before you gave Oliver a chance to respond you added one more thing. “You know I am perfectly capable of handling myself. What are you so worried about!”

By this point you were shouting and you suddenly become hyper-aware that you and Oliver weren’t alone in the ‘Arrow-cave’ when you looked over and saw Felicity and Digg trying (but failing) to look like they weren’t listening.

Oliver sighed and pulled you away to the other side of the room lowering his voice and speaking more softly, “What if this is Slade. I can’t handle the thought of you out there by yourself if Slade Wilson is out there too.”  He was dead serious but you couldn’t understand how.

“Ollie, I watched you pierce an arrow right through the middle of Slades head. No one could survive that. Not even someone who was jacked up on some ‘miracle’ drug. Slade Wilson is dead, he had no heartbeat when we left that boat. I’ll be fine.” You could see how upset Oliver was, for a moment you thought about giving in and just watching the particle accelerator turn on from the news like everyone else in Starling. Then you realized if you did give in Oliver would never stop with the babying.

“I’m going to Central City, Oliver. I’ll be back first thing tomorrow.” You nodded slightly at him as you silent way of telling him you would be fine.

Oliver didn’t say anything else but he nodded in return and then pulled you into a quick hug before sending you on your way.

As you left the bunker you made sure to shoot Digg and Felicity a silent look that they both knew was your ‘Please take care of Oliver and don’t let him do anything too stupid while I’m gone look.’ To which they both assured you they would do.

The train from Starling to Central city was a little longer then you remembered, to be fair the last time you actually took this train was when you were about 12 years old so it has been a while. By the time you and Barry made it to Central City there was no way you were gonna be at STAR Labs before the accelerator turned on.

“I’m so sorry, y/n you came all the way out here and now you don’t even get to see the particle accelerator turn on.” Barry felt awful that you were gonna miss this, but honestly you didn’t just come to Central City for Harrison Wells. Over the past few days you had developed a little crush on the CSI and wanted to get to know him better.

“Barry it’s really not a big deal. Maybe I could just go back to your place and watch it on the news like the rest of the non-science loving population.” You joked and tried desperately to seem cool while also assuring Barry that you weren’t at all upset.

“I’ve gotta head up to my lab and document some of this stuff, you could come with me and watch it from there.” Barry suggested  

“Sounds perfect.” You smiled widely then linked your arm in Barry’s as he lead you toward CCPD.

When you got to Barry’s lab you were on the phone with Oliver to tell him that you would be taking the midnight train back tonight and asking him for a ride. As you hung up the phone Barry was flipping on his computer monitor and putting on the local news which was highlighting STAR Labs.

Just as Barry was pulling up and extra chair so both of you could sit and watch you heard a loud crash of thunder followed by the heavy pour of rain outside.

“Do you think this weather will affect the particle accelerator?” You questioned, watching both the news and the window at the same time.

“I’m sure Harrison Wells would call the whole thing off if the weather was a problem. The guy really is a genius, I’ve read his autobiography three times-” Barry’s statement was cut off by the sound of an explosion and the news cast cutting out.

Instantly you and Barry turned to the window and saw a massive shock  wave coming off of STAR Labs.

“Y/N, help me pull this shut!” Barry yelled out as he ran to pull the storm cover for the skylight closed.

As you helped Barry tug on the chain there was a brief moment where you saw something unlike anything you’d ever heard of. All of the liquid in the  beakers at Barry’s lab suddenly start floating through the air, as if someone had pulled all of the gravity out of that specific spot.

Before you could process what was going on a giant bolt of lighting cam crashing through the skylight. You caught a glimpse of Barry falling, then as you were filled with some of the most intense pain you’d ever felt you collapsed beside him.

my roommate watches arrow and i catch bits of the episodes sometimes and i don't now which season/episode this was in but a flashxarrow crossover was happening and flash tries to hg him and arrow's like i don't do hugs but flash is "yeah but i'm quick enough to hug you before you could stop me so you might as well" and idk i just remembered that scene and it gives me such tony and peter vibes like gdi <3 <3
