Why I’m Risking My Back For My Work

After reading snail’s post about Flexnib’s post about Bibliotheque Bound’s post, I’ve decided to add this post to the posticle about work spaces. I have a work desk (or at least part of one). It contains a computer (a laptop) as well as several removable hard-drives, and a multi-functional laser printer. It also contains a lot of junk. I have written several novels, including Coils of the Serpent, at this work desk. However, I no longer use it. Well, I do. Mainly as a storage space for my old laptop. My Youngest has taken over the rest.

My first official calligraphy "commission"! My parents' silver anniversary is coming up and I decided to make a fancy card for them :D

My siblings and I arranged for them to have a little boat picnic on the lake where they got married :-)

Today's #30inks30days is @inksbyvinta Sandugo. Sadly I cannot take good enough photos to show how this is a gorgeous red ink. I want a bottle of it. It sheens green but it's not too obvious in the photos. Maybe on my paper it's not too obvious either. And that's ok. I am in love with this red. I forget how amazing it feels to write with the pilot falcon nib after the Spencerian modification from John Motttishaw. When pen people talk about Writing Experience, non-pen people must think we are exaggerating. But it is accurate to describe this as “transcendent”.
