And now for something completely different. Fist image is my painting of Piper PA-24 250 Comanche, 42x30cm, oil on MDF board.

On the rest of images is the same aircraft, but in Microsoft Flight Simulator, I did both 3d model and textures, inside and out. On top of the artwork the aircraft is a team effort of amazing people from A2A Simulations I have a pleasure to work with.

The article "Dabbs: My Time in the U.S. Army Rotary-Wing Flight School" by Will Dabbs, MD, recounts the author's lifelong passion for aviation and his experiences in the U.S. Army's Rotary-Wing Flight School at Fort Rucker, Alabama. Dabbs reflects on his childhood fascination with World War II aircraft, leading him to pursue a career as a military helicopter pilot. He describes the competitive selection process, the various training phases, and the challenging yet rewarding journey through flight school. Dabbs particularly highlights his time training with the UH-1 Huey helicopters, his transition to flying CH-47 Chinooks, and the intense camaraderie and friendships formed with fellow soldiers. The article also touches on the inherent dangers of military aviation, including the loss of friends, and concludes with Dabbs expressing gratitude for his military experiences.

God, if you think fanfic readers are entitled you should see flight simmers.
I'm pretty into flight simming and one of my favorite planes is the FlyJSim 727. Now this is, to be clear, a paid DLC by an independent developer team of a whopping 2 people. It was made for X-plane 11, which is an older version of the sim.
Of course, now the sim is on version 12, which changed a large part of the backend and now this plane isn't compatible with the new version.
I lurk in the FlyJSim discord waiting for updates. It's been a few years, and the guy in charge has like, some health problems he's dealing with. And every week, without fail, someone comes in and throws a huge god damn temper tantrum about "why isn't this compatible with XP12!?" and every time they get the dev team's social media rep very patiently that the guy has, you know cancer (or something like that, they haven't shared details)
It's rare it goes beyond that but I have seen people demand money back (for an item that still works for the software they bought it for) and at least once saw someone claim that the guy was faking his illness to...get out of doing a new version of the plane?
Anyway. Hell hath no fury like a flight simmer who paid 35 bucks 5 years ago for their hobby i guesss.
