Entrapta with her PDW

This took a long time to make, digital works often do. Still I hope you will all enjoy this piece and the lore I have for it. Hard to believe its been two years since I drew Entrapta for the first time.   This is her wearing her scolar-VII armor in my original story: ROBOTWARs. 

 <UEU-5013 Entrapta>  Entrapta was still a scatterbrain even after the AI transfer, showing high euphoria and optimism as she started working more as a scientist, often times designing and making new machinery in multiple fields of engineering, so much so that she was nominated in the 2038 Nobel prize for physics.  Once WW3 became inevitable, Entrapta would be a commanding officer in the 13th Pioneer Regiment attached to Army-Group "Rachel"   Despite agreeing to be a member of combat, Entrapta was not keen with taking lives like the other soldiers.   This reflexed with her defensive weapon: the PP-92 which she kept in her engineering kit, missions for the 13th Pioneer Regiment were also rear guard missions, fixing broken down/damaged vehicles and infrastructure in the Australian battlefield.   When the Surprise attack happened, her pioneers were stationed at the town of Texas while she and two others under her direct command UEU-1498 Skids and UEU-1499 Mudflap were in the middle of making a power station in the town of Surat.   The three were stuck nearly 300 km behind enemy lines, with their 6 wheel MRAP Buffalo A3 which Entrapta converted into her mobile command and control center, they were able to listen to the emergency broadcast, learning that the RDFM forces were isolated and fighting in pockets of resistance and forts.   with enough water to fuel the journey, the three headed for the town of Roma where five FLUFUs and two UEUs were fighting against units from the Indian, Pakistan and Afghanistan army. (3rd engagement of Rome) 

 three out of the five FLUFUs were heavily wounded that they would be out of action as they drove to three more pockets of resistance until finally, after twelve days, they arrived at fort Texas.   During this time Entrapta would make claw arms inspired by the claw on the MRAP Buffalo A3, mostly used for moving debris but when the situation called for it she would use them to dispatch enemy combatant.

-who is more often the shoulder to cry on? 

I feel like this could go either way, but both would be hesitant to actually cry on each other’s shoulders. Neither of them do it often, but sometimes, something reminds Garcia of Iris, or Rufus misses his family, and, well... Emotions happen. 

-who enjoys hugging more? 

Neither of them will admit to it, but both are actually pretty okay with it. Garcia probably enjoys it a little more, just because he’s so touched-starved in general.

-who is always the one to ask for relationship advice?

Garcia, because Rufus and Jiya may not always have a “perfect” relationship, (there’s really no such thing,) but they sure as heck have it together better than Flynn at this point.

-who feels like they are the more dependent one?

Neither, I don’t think? Rufus knows he can function on his own. Garcia knows he can function on his own. They’re both pretty good on that front. 

-favorite thing to do when they hang out? 

I feel like they watch a lot of older sci-fi shows together. Once Rufus finds out that Garcia is secretly a giant dork, it’s all over; Twilight Zone marathons, X-Files marathons, and of course Star Wars and Star Trek marathons. 

-do they have silly nicknames for each other? 

No. Garcia tries it. Once.

-how do they make each other laugh? 

Mostly by sassing Wyatt under their breaths, tbh, but basically anyone they can judge together leads to laughter.

-who is more responsible? 

Rufus. Hands down.

-the song they jam out to together? 

Not that there’s any proof, but they definitely have all the words to every sci-fi intro song memorized. And sing them together, while refusing to acknowledge it later.

-first to say “you’re my best friend”?

Oooo. Interesting. This would be... Because Rufus has Lucy (and sometimes Wyatt) as best friends. And Garcia would probably call Lucy his best friend (because “love of my life” is a little intimidating when she doesn’t know that yet). So I feel like it’s one of those days where Wyatt and Lucy are a little too on edge around each other, and Rufus just ditches them and plops down next to Garcia. “Nope. Not dealing with them anymore today. You’re my best friend now.” 

-who buys the other really extravagant gifts on holidays?

Garcia, definitely. He’s as dramatic with gift-giving as he is everything else. (Rufus just buys him a mug that says “World’s best teacher,” crosses out “teacher,” and writes “assassin” on it. Garcia isn’t sure how to feel about it.)

He was so quick to flee, his body panicking for air that had been sucked out of the room by Lucy’s words, that he only realizes that he has gotten out when the chilly air hits him in the face and the door closes behind him.

There isn’t much to do besides following his legs’ instinct to carry him away from there, away from — away from Lucy, which is the very last thing he thought he’d ever want. Lucy was always his lighthouse, his beacon of hope even in the darkest of times, she — she is not someone he is supposed to need to escape from.

They are only words, he tries to remind himself. She only said a few words, there is no need to — hell, he did so much worse to her. She still sleeps soundly beside him every night, does she not?

But then again, she was always better and stronger than he could ever hope to be.

He hates fighting with her. He hates the way he gets when they fight, how his ugliness starts creeping out when the only thing that he can see is how much of a danger the world poses to his girls, but — but how can he ignore it? He allowed himself that luxury once already and —

Lucy’s words cut through his head once again, cold and unforgiving, reminding him of what happened to the last child unlucky enough to call him her father. He knows that what happened is on him, that he might not have pulled the trigger but Iris and Lorena died as a direct result of his actions. He has never stopped shouldering the blame for what he did.

He doesn’t know why it hurts so much to hear Lucy agree.

Last night I started watching a show called Baking Impossible. Basically, teams of a baker and an engineer join forces to create a dessert that serves a function or is able to complete a task in order to win prize money. Naturally, I immediately started plotting a Timeless AU (Riya, Flufus, Garcy, and possibly Wyjess). 

Mason created the show after a ‘bakineering’ incident of his own (it worked great but tasted horrible). Denise is his co-host/fellow judge. (She is former homeland security and is having a WILD second act.)

Rufus thought, with some convincing from his boss, that being a contestant on Baking Industries might be fun, or at least entertaining to his family and an interesting challenge. Secretly, he hoped to spend more time with coworker and fellow contestant Jiya, maybe even to impress her.

His hopes of a good time are dashed upon meeting his partner, Garcia Flynn, ex-NSA assist, probable ex and/or current assassin and bakery owner, who took up the profession after the tragic death of his wife and daughter.

Denise makes the interviews really unnecessarily intense, which is how Rufus learns all that. He wonders, not for the last time, as he spills his life story, what exactly he signed up for. He also thinks of what he could do with $100,000, the grand prize.

Jiya’s partner, Lucy, took a sharp left turn from a history degree to professional baking over a decade ago.

Anthony’s partner, Jessica, got a job at a bakery after leaving the cult she was raised in and discovered a natural talent.

Emma’s partner, Wyatt, ended up in a program for veterans with PTSD that involved baking, cooking, and deconstructing toxic masculinity some odd years ago. It ended in a career for him.

Rufus wonders if Denise is going for some sort of narrative about food and rebuilding and defense relating to her own experiences. 

They have eight hours to create a working lifeboat cake, the first of many challenges. Chaos, friendship, chocolate, bonding over childhood trauma, and romance ensue.

<Licinianus II>   Licinianus II is the final G1 FLUFU before the UNRC started making G2 FLUFUs of Tetrarchia-Company (71999901~72000600). He is the medic of the team and as a result of his role, he carries the minimum amount of ammunition and mainly carries all kinds of medical equipment such as stretcher bars he attaches to the sides of his D2 armored back pack.   He was the team-medic for Team-Tzirallum, a workaholic spending most of his time studying medicine and bioengineering to help people in need, in fact he was one of the first robots to be nominated a Nobel Prize for his work on reversing irreversible protein in the optic nerve, he is a quiet bot whose daily conversational vocabulary is limited to "Uh-huh" "Yes" "No" "Affirmative" and "Don't do anything stupid." the final words usually directed to FLUFU-72000177 Julia Constantia, she would often time help him with whatever he needed, she would talk to him constantly and he would listen, not sounded like he was, but listened intently and the two were two pees in a pod.  <Weapons>   Licinianus II carries two weapons.  ・his main weapon was the Vektor CR-21 bullpup assault rifle with the Issue-Vierzig sight and a laser sight on top of said sight. the rifle fires the 5.56x45mm NATO round from a 30 round magazine which he carries five. (150 rounds total)  ・his secondary weapon Vektor CP-1 that fires the 9x19mm Parabellum from a 15 round magazine which he carries ten. (150 rounds total)
