Yuichi was about to head home from his shift when he went into Hueso's office, and upon seeing Leo, he was instantly worried about what had happened to him.

And Oh? Leo's wings had done something to Yuichi?

My braincelless brain can't write, and it took me minutes to figure out what they are going to say. I'm not a writer, it takes me a while to work things out for the au, and it's hard.

As for Leo's wings, I researched more about butterflies, and the scales or dust from the wings gave me an idea. Leo has a new ability to make anyone sleep by inhaling his "Sleeping/Pixie Dust" (yeah, they're called pixie dust according to google). I thought he would need it to protect himself, and if Donnie is close to finding out.

Flutterleo is going to have a ref sheet with his new gear soon for Chapter/Arc 2. I'm working on it.

Experimented with lighting again! I dont have a set way of doing it and i can never remember my process 💀 i just cycle through all the filters until something looks nice, but i think im getting the hang of a style i like now.

I drew this a few days ago. I saw @devildewdrop 's (hello👋, love your design, it's very appealing) butterfly Leo design and didn't think of doing anything about it, only admiring it. "Turtle+butterfly? And we're already mutated with human's" is what I thought. Then I saw their post getting reblogged a second time at another day and I'm like.. "I can try drawing it, why not?" And got up from my 🛏️.

I'm so happy to have created another artwork using pencil colours. I thought I could make the colours look more 'defined' but I like it this way, soft. (Ignore the little doodle on the top right, I do tend to use used canvas hhh) Yes, I made some adjustment so that I could draw it to my taste, just a little. I removed his mask and gear, and changed some small details. Oh! Do know that this was inspired by the initial design. I've only seen the new one today, and that one is very beautiful too. Also, man I forgot what's the butterfly's name is already

CREATURE CON MASTERPOST

Before we get started, please note that Creature Con is not a competition. There is no "winner" or "loser," but you can earn achievements! It'll be an online convention so that people can interact, share their stories, and make new friends!

Where and Who

Creature Con will be hosted on Discord! Both AU creators and guests are more than welcome to join.

However, guests do need to wait until all AU's are in and submissions are done for the Discord to be open to the public.

All TMNT generations are welcome!

What Counts As A Creature

For the purpose of this con, a creature counts as a character being a different thing, having something happening, or both! Here's a list:

AU's will be separated based on category. If an AU fits multiple categories, the AU owner will be allowed to pick the one it goes in.

Their are many ways to participate! Interacting with AU's is the main one, but there are many ways to do this. Some ways include:

Interacting gets you achievements! Some will even be AU specific. Stay on the lookout for hints on hidden achievements as well, you never know what you might find.

Rules

While more rules will be available in the Discord once the server is open, here are some of the basics.

NO Tcest [This includes showing images/art with the intention of mocking it].

NO directed racism, ableism, transphobia, homophobia or sexism. If your AU contains these themes, they must be tagged and have the according TW/CW's.

Sensitive topics MUST be blocked out [In Discord, this means having || on either side of the word/sentence, which covers it] and tagged with TW/CW's.

NO Arguing, harassment, bullying, ect. If you have a problem with someone talk in private to sort things out, or contact a mod if they are causing issues.

NO heavy venting in the server.

NO spamming the server.

Want To Submit An AU?

When the forms are open, anyone is welcome to apply if their AU fits! As said above, it can be an AU from any generation. However, there are only 30 spots as to not overwhelm the mods with too many people!

SUBMISSION FORM

SUMISSIONS WILL BE OPEN FROM 6/19/2025 - 7/3/2025, WE WILL NOT BE TAKING ANY MORE SUBMISSIONS AFTER JULY 3RD AT 11:59PM UTC OR 6:59PM EST.

Once submissions are complete, there will be a break so everything can get set up and so invites can be sent out.

Some creators may be asked extra questions, here is where we'll ask if they are any extra TW/CW's forgotten when the form was filled out, along with things like custom achievements for the AU.

To make sure every AU has it's time to shine, there will be Spotlight Segments. During these, certain AU's from different categories will get focus put onto them. Think of it like a panel in an in person convention. This way, no AU gets overlooked!

Time of Spotlight Segments will vary depending on how many AU's we have attending.

If Donnie claim that he records everything is true, does that mean he already knows about Leo's second mutation?

Donnie's trackers and recorders were destroyed by Leo, even though they were well hidden. He has no idea about his second mutation.

Another one of Leo's new abilities is that he can sense danger, even without letting his antennas out.

Donnie already has suspicions, but he has no idea what is going on with Leo; he and his brothers are worried about him. He's going to figure out and get to the bottom of it.

How do the fam find out about the secondary mutations? Cause they gotta find out sometime

Also I get that he can pull the secondary arms in his shell and can probably pull his wings back in, but how does he hide his legs and antenna?! Can he de-mutate some of his body at will?!? And what about the fluff?!!

The fam doesn't know about his new mutations yet.

Yes, Leo has the ability to hide/retract all of his new mutations (except the holes in his shell for the wings), unless he gets nervous/jittery or scared about something, they will pop out. He has fluff cuz fluffy butterfly.

Hueso was suggesting that he needs to tell his brothers what had happened but Leo refused, he doesn't want to burden them with his problems. Hueso has to respect his decision.

Double-Mutated Leo AU

An AU about Leo gets double-mutated into a Butterfly.

This focuses on Leo's insecurities, and he always just masks his face and hides his emotions. But with his new mutations, it's going to be a lot harder. Luckily, he can retract his mutated parts, but the problem is that they will just pop out of his body whenever he feels nervous or scared. Leo doesn't want to give his family even more trouble from him, burden them, especially his brothers, feeling like he doesn't deserve them at all. The only thing that made him feel better was his pet butterfly, Sapphie.

Donatello is now in detective mode because Leo was up to something, and he puts trackers on him and recorders. But lo and behold, Leo manages to find all of them, even though they are well hidden. Donnie was shocked at how Leo even found them; he was now even more suspicious of him, and he was even more worried.
