OKAY! This was the 3rd one I got, and I thought of making it non-anon when I sent this out to other writers so that it didn't kinda circulate amongst the same circles continuously, but eh!

I'm a lot less tired than I was when I answered number 2, and here's a link to number 1, so

I've got a lot of fics, and I'm gonna do my next fave 5, because it's very hard to decide on faves. And @flyiing-giraffe left a fantastic review on

Taxi, which is very dear to my heart. It's meant to be AceLaw, but it's missing a chapter, and that was the most AceLaw part, but it's still there (the ship). The main idea is that Law drives a taxi and he meets people, and those people are your One Piece faves. Modern AU: summary:

Doflamingo's dementia, Ace's narcolepsy, Cora's death. Law collects vinyl with warps and scratches, and drives a taxi.

Chapters can mostly be read stand alone, and I wouldn't call it a ship fic.

Rated T, 14,392 words.

2. the tibia, the fibula, the regions in between

ZoLaw on the submarine, on the way to Wano. Rated a very soft M, I think, originally T.

Zoro and Law explore the unconformities of personal geography. Practice, distraction, quiet and unquiet minds.

This one is a ship fic on a ship.

3. softening the fall of snow

4. Father Figure

Smoker and Law having that conversation in Punk Hazard! Platonic. The father figure ain't Smoker. (G5 regarded Vergo as a father figure. Law did not).

5. Macrobiotics and Marathons

"Do you always cook like that? Flying scalpels, stabbing daggers, projectiles of fire...?" "Disrespected cabbages," the teacher yelled out, trying to get her body parts together, reordered. "We don't always disrespect the cabbage," Marco said.

Only for the summary. The first story still makes me laugh. The second story is just a bit throwaway!

Patterns: I write too much about the Heart Pirates It seems I usually open with short descriptive sentences, almost never dialogue. It also tends to be something grounding (setting the location or main characters of the fic within the first paragraph). Interesting!

This snippet is from my OP BB that I'm participating in!

Completely ignoring the kid now, he leans back and walks across the room, talking as he goes. “All it makes you, is a dumbass who forfeits his own life.” Porchemy says as he grabs his trusted blade and raises it above his head. However, before he can bring it down, Zoro and Sanji burst through the dilapidated shack door, with three swords and fiery legs welded.  Before anyone could blink an eye, the auras of demons had knocked out the entire shack and the two quickly cut Luffy from his dangling position, tucking him safely in the arms of Sanji.

ngl, the sanji moment at the end of this quote makes me tear up some - for my wci ppl, you know, you know

What's going on? 8/28/2023

Hey, Dofuwani Nation (and anyone else who has ended up here)!

So I'm done with dinner & diatribes, which is the first section of Black Iris. BI will have around 40 chapters-- I'm aiming to have the next part published sometime during October.

Here's what's happening now:

I'm going to be writing for the OP Big Bang and the OP Fight! OP BB will not be posted until Dec/Jan, but OP Fight will be ongoing until Oct 1! Some of the prompts may have to do with Dofuwani, but not all of them-- if you are subscribed to my account, and ONLY want to hear about Black Iris/Dofuwani stuff, I suggest you unsubscribe and subscribe specifically to the Black Iris series instead. (For those of you with social anxiety, don't worry-- I promise you won't upset me!)
