The journey is the destination. A cross country trip (Tennessee to California) is honestly one of the most grounding endeavors I have ever experienced. There is so much beauty to take in. 36+ hours in a car, just letting my thoughts consume me, thanking the Universe for all it has done and for all it plans to do. I feel so at peace and this is only the beginning. This entire year is about new things: new thoughts, new adventures, new methods, new goals, new life... And I'm really working on coming out of my shell. All the tools I need lay before me. I am my greatest masterpiece. I'm so excited for this growing process, from growing pains to the satisfaction of watching myself develop, to sharing my storyto encourage the growth of another. This is all so exciting. I'm looking forward to this journey of self care and self disciple. 💚💜💙💪👊 After getting a gym membership, speaking with a trainer, and attending my first yoga class (I had been doing it in my morning routine as a solo venture for about 2 weeks), I am happy to finally have some small things at home to help keep me on track and improve my vessel. Tomorrow is my last day of work before I take my sabbatical, so I can focus on grounding and healing. I'm looking forward to the good habits I intend to learn, the divine creations I may make, and the reward of these things coming to fruition. I am so grateful for having the ability to take this time off to look within and begin working on my greatest masterpiece. Dragons, Unicorns, Pegasi, and Fae all existing together, under my baby lavender!🌱💚 I thought the sea glass and creatures were a fun touch.💙🐉 LIFE UPDATE: I can feel the energy of my sign (Taurus, April 21- May 21) approaching. ♉🌿 Although my schedule has become progressively more hectic, I have been on a bit of a gardening binge. I am attempting my first herb garden and logging✒ the whole process in my plant book 📗 for referencing in the future. I planted all of my seeds yesterday in the cutest hexagon shaped starter kits. After I gave them a good drink, I placed moss agate, tree agate, and rose quartz around them to encourage growth and give them extra love 😙and to make them look even more adorable. 💚🌱 I'm also starting a super simple compost that I'm sure they'll enjoy down the road when they get transplanted. But for now, I bought this sweet gal and trimmed her up really nice.
