Loquaerryn musings, bear with me.

I know I and many others portray Loquatius as the really devoted and smitten part of the relationship which to a certain degree I consider almost "canon" for the lack of a better term.

BUT I do believe, especially when Evandrin was around, Loquatius took the brunt of being the bad "parent" and having to say Laerryn no while Evandrin was the enabler of every ambitious idea she had, regardless of how dangerous or "stupid" it was, an encourager of some of her bad habits while Loquatius tried to push her out of her comfort zone.

I think that, along with the reasoning she presented, was the reason why she never told Loquatius anything about her plans even back then.
