The Kogarasu Siblings might run a candy apple stall, but their main store sells all sorts of sweets! They are especially well known for custom cakes (which unfortunately don’t last on the road to festivals). Flavors below:

My recent browsing on MAGCOMI got me interested in these titles:
Tori Junkies (Bird Junkies) by Sorano Kaili, a manga about, as the title suggests, people who love birds (probably a bit too much…? 😆😅).
Tsukumo no Kamisama (The Spirit of Objects) by Kogarasu Keiko, a historical fantasy about a young man running an antique shop full of tsukumogami and tries to grant their wishes together with a mysterious black-haired man.
Yamagoya nite (At the Lodge) by Kanbe Gorou, a BL manga about a loner who prefers mountaineering solo who meets a troubled big guy (he mistook as a bear) at a mountain lodge and helps him (this one is fairly new and just released ch1 on 15 Nov, with ch2 scheduled this 15 Dec).
They all release a new chapter on the 15th of the month, though so far it seems only Yamagoya nite updates monthly (the other two seem to have an indefinite release period, and according to MU, Tsukumo no Kamisama is already complete).

Those sharp kimono + obi by Gofukuya are a pun on “Kogarasumaru” (”little crow”), name of a legendary japanese tachi (long sword)

I was going to make a post to discuss about Higekiri’s feelings towards his two brother/companion swords but I think I can boil it down to less than the usual infinite paragraphs I type out.
And that’s to say that his feelings are entirely uncomplicated and that he does treat both of them with the Higekiri brand of Love and Affection™ as his primary issues with them having been resolved much earlier in his lifetime. Which was that Makuragami and Kogarasu were longer than he was, a problem he solved very quickly.
He’d even go so far as to say Hizamaru was indeed a better work than himself and does think that his brother earned all the praise and reverence he was given. While Kogarasu did not earn as many names, Higekiri does think well of them especially since it was created to keep him company while his first companion was away.

Aside from the Miyako, there’s a lot of places to see on This Side. The land is vast, with many towns and villages that span the entire map. Though travel can be tough, a select few spend their days moving around, yet always returning to their home eventually. That’s why they’re...
Travelers of This Side
Kogarasu Raven (コガラス レイヴン) : age 24, Chimera (Half-Human). The older brother and the one who makes the candy apples for the Ame Ringo stall during festivals. He mixes a special kind of candy syrup for dipping apples in that gives the candy apples a rich, caramel color. The stall also specializes in chocolate dipped apples too.  Their main shop is located in the Chikurin Village and they like traveling around to go attend festivals.   What they make during festivals is usually more than they’d make just selling from their shop, which is why they do it. He’s good with customers but usually keeps to himself. He likes to spoil his younger sister. He’s rather passive, but he’ll take charge if need be. He is half Tengu on his father’s side.
Kogarasu Millie (コガラス ミリー) : age 20, Chimera (Half-Human). The younger sister and the one who promotes the Ame Ringo stall. Her distinct voice and positive attitude is what really gets customers to try the splendid candy apples. She’s also in charge of finances since she excels at math. She gets tired pretty easily from keeping high spirits, so when she isn’t at the stall, she’ll relax and drink lots of water. She’s usually the one in charge and the one who gets to choose which festival her and her brother will go to. She gets spoiled a lot by her brother, but she doesn’t let it go to her head and is actually very responsible. She is half Tengu on her father’s side.
Edogawa Doppo (江戸川 独歩) : age 20, Human.   A young man who runs the Sleepy Hollow Antiques located in Horahara Town. While the town itself is small, he is the one who stock piles a lot of old things and new things. While Sleepy Hollow is called an antique store, it’s more like a junk shop. He often travels back and forth from the Miyako to obtain more interesting items. Sometimes, he’ll set up at festivals as the Surihoro Honya. He’s rather lazy in personality and prefers to let other people work while he watches. He’s never annoyed about doing work, though. Despite running an antique store, he doesn’t actually know anything about them. Asking him for information about his items will sometimes get him equally confused. He’s still learning and doing his best, however.
Adler Ethan (アードラー イーサン) : age 60 (appears 24), Vampire. The guardian of Sleepy Hollow Antiques and the true owner of the shop. Though originally from the Teito, he settled in Horahara Town and made a shop where he liked to hoard things. Eventually, his den was converted into a junk store. He likes to think that all the things in the shop are technically his property, including anyone running the store. He’ll accompany Doppo on his travels sometimes, though he prefers to stay in the shop and bask in his collection. He’s more outgoing and likes the attention for himself, but he’s also very insistent on giving people he finds interesting a lot of attention as well. He’s the one to ask about the items in Sleepy Hollow, as he makes sure to always know about everything he owns. He treats drinking blood like a luxury and he likes to say “I’ll treat myself to it when I do something good”.
Ribbon (リボン) : age 16, Bakeneko. A cat that likes to ride the central train that runs on This Side. She doesn’t have an exact home, instead enjoying naps on the train and eating scraps from whichever stop she gets off at. She’s somewhat of a mascot, as those who ride the train often will tend to run into her. She gets her name from the blue ribbon she wears all the time. Originally a house cat, she became a Bakeneko when her tail split. She acts very ladylike, and no matter what form she’s in, people like to stop and give her treats. She’s been able to live a very comfortable life so far because of her good looks. That aside, when threatened, she’ll hiss and claw at anyone. She loves having baths and isn’t afraid of water.
Koko (狐々) : age approximately 300 (appears 39), Kitsune. A woman that travels with two foxes from Kon Village in order to sell their town’s famous Fox Sake. She is well known as the town’s trader, as whenever she returns, she brings souvenirs. She is a kindly lady well recognized from her companions by her dark fur. Contrary to the rest of the kitsune in Kon Village, she was born in her human form and cannot become a fox. Her speech always sounds like there’s a hint of laughter. The foxes she travels with usually are sent as her caretakers, but she can always handle herself. She likes holding competitions at festivals where people can win her sake.
Andou Hanoi (安堂 河内) : age 45, Kappa. A mask maker from Furikawa River who goes around selling his hand made masks. He usually travels by waterways when he can, and continues on rainy days the rest of the way. He can stay out of water for upwards of 18 hours before the water in his cup runs dry. He carves all sorts of different masks, which are popular not only at festival stalls, but also in Kabuki and Noh performances. He also carves masks for shrines when they do their rituals. He likes to meet his clients where they are, so they don’t have to trek all the way to his river to see his merchandise. Generally a cheerful guy who is dedicated to his craft.

About to think about swords for the next three days
Also I finally read higekiri's kiwame lines and he's so silly still but now I think he's like. Self conchess. I think he talks about the Divine intervention a lot because he wants to live up to the expectations and such but he still most likely has a faulty memory. But he's not as airheaded it seems, like he's taking being a toudan a bit more seriously. I think he's less moe through helplessness / gap moe but I still love him.....
When I was cleaning a few weeks ago I found all my tkrb doujinshi I imported and I still think I have good taste. I want to reread the one where higekiri goes off the shit because he meets Kogarasu(maru) and remembers the minamoto's Kogarasu sword that he 'killed'
