i've said it before and i will say it again, i genuinely believe that one of the best ways to practice drawing is by doodling on some cheap paper with a cheap pen. nothing to be precious about, you can't undo what you've drawn, if you drew it wrong the first time draw it fifteen times until you get it right. a lot of people are scared of their art looking bad but art looking bad is an unavoidable part of the process. you don't have to show anyone but yourself and you can try again as many times as you want!

#something I find happening a lot to me lately bc I don't have much opportunity to Draw #is that the sketches just do Not want to cooperate when i pick up my pen for the first time in a while #and it's really frustrsting and feels like my skill is gone forever. ive hit the wall #and then the next day everything is smooth and friendly again #u just gotta accept the bad ugly doodles as part of The Process

What's up with Shadow from the future? Is he dead? Or is he still looking after Silver?

By the way, is Silver immortal alongside Shadow? If he weren't, it would be very sad.

So, technically, my main Dadow AU doesn't really end up with Silver in a bad future. It's a fixed future timeline where Silver actually gets to grow up in a happy and relatively normal environment, and Shadow gets to share his son with all his wacky friends. It exists just for fluff and sillies.

I DO, however, have an original timeline Dadow AU that does take place 200 years later in the no good very bad future. And THAT, my friend, exists only for the angst art.

i have a confession to make:

the reason i have disappeared from the rainworld fandom for so long is because i have become obsessed with minecraft. specifically, the warden and the deep dark.

i only mention this because i recently returned to rain world to play the watcher dlc, and now if i had a nickel for every time i have obsessed over a sentient colony of black mold i would have two nickels
