I don’t know if anyone’s ever asked this before so I’m sorry if I missed it! But I was really curious about your general process? Do you do purely watercolor works or a mix of watercolor and then digital additions/edits? Of course only if you’re up to/willing to share! I’m trying to learn more in regards to watercolor and love your works so much!

Hi!! Sorry it took me a moment!:D I am doing a bit of everything to be honest! I consider myself more of a mixed media artist! (Meaning different type of traditional and digital edits!) So some of my work is fully watercolor while other is mixed! For example, take this doodle of mine! Here's the freshly unadjusted scan:

Then with color adjustement to correct what my scanner washed out:

And then some light digital correction to make it a bit nicer!

For pieces like this, I normally work with a base of watercolors and inks on top of a colored pencil lineart.

Then I work in gouache and acrylic gouache for the part I want to "carve out" more. Then I finish everything with another layer of colored pencils on top to add more details and gradients, before scanning and touching up with digital. (sometimes I can go all out with digital edits and sometimes not at all! it depends on the piece!) For example here's one that was not retouched digitally at all beside correcting the washed out scan + watermark.

Sorry to send another ask, but I'm not exactly sure what you mean by human-adjacent MCS? I assume humanoids like Mychael are not going to be answered, but are MCs with special abilities apart of not going to be answered? I need some examples, sorry.

Yeah, that's basically the gist of it! TLDR: Non-human MCs will likely not get answered and the reason is below.

For a more elaborate explanation:

Sometimes I get asks about shapeshifter MCs, or demon/hybrid/monster MCs, and while the concept is fun, Mychael would most likely react the same; surprise and caution. I'd just be repeating myself over and over.

While he might find kinship in knowing they're non-human like him, that doesn't mean he'd immediately trust them. In fact, he might even be more wary of these characters in the beginning because he wouldn't know if his hypnosis ability (his safety net and security blanket) would work on them.

This goes the same for human-looking but magic user MCs like witch/wizard/sorcerer/fairy since I get asks about that as well; surprise and caution!

To that end, I can entertain asks about regular human MCs who are outside the expected norm because not only is it plausible and more interesting to me, it breaks his expectations of people he's met and would interest him more than a supernatural MC. Example: MCs in wheelchairs, MCs with vitiligo, MCs with prosthetics, or even MCs with strange habits.

Human, normal, but has something that stands out that he notices. Hope that helps!

i finally watched nosferatu (2024) and i’ve come to the conclusion that many people either don’t like or just don’t understand gothic horror as a genre. everyone was acting like it’s the most disturbing, depraved movie they’ve ever seen and quite frankly, i think it could have been much weirder. it’s a near perfect vampire movie. appropriately dark, erotic, and horrific with classic elements of the gothic genre. and a masterful (and surprisingly feminist) exploration of trauma and the dichotomy of shame and desire. it’s a story about being repulsed by your own desire and feeling unlovable because of it, but feeling it nonetheless. and overall i think the film does a fantastic job at working through these themes.

Been a while since we added another Remnant design to the roster! And who better than miss Komaru Naegi herself!

Going into this I wasn’t sure what I wanted to go with for her, but you know, the warriors of Hope really need a better baby sitter then Nagito so let’s have Komaru fill that role! She gets the despair of having to look after and help the kids who tormented her and killed her parents, and the kids get despair from having to actually listen to someone! Win win! Or really, lose lose lol.

So I dressed her like Miss Frizzle and called it a day lol. I do want to point out the bear heads on her dress were colour picked directly from the Monokubs because I think it’s a fun detail

he declared he feels nothing of the sorts! they explain the differences between someone who feels romantic and more sexual attraction, and then River is like "oh doctor! you told me you feel nothing of the sorts! you are looking for someone who doesn't have romantic feelings in particular abd here you are!"

(because River and him talked earlier about them being husbands and wife of course, and he was like "a wife??? me??? not now or ever! I don't do that sort of stuff! couple things that is")

so then when he looks for someone who does not feel romantic attraction to save the day later, river makes him realise that's him! so he uses that to win the day!

so yeah!!! offical aromantic doctor!!!!
