-Elliott is the obvious choice, isn’t he ?

-this man has no chill when it comes to showing you how much he loves you

-you might not always understand where his play on words come from, but it sure as hell makes you blush like a mess

-he might be a little anxiously attached to you because he won’t leave your side during your honeymoon phase

-generally hugging you? He will do it all the time. Any time. He will climb through your small living room window to hug you at least once a day if he has to

-Alex frequents the beach to talk to his deceased mother. It’s kinda sweet in a way because he will talk to her about the things happening in his life. Pre-dating as well as in the midst of your relationship, he tells her so much about you, wishing she was still alive to have met you as you are the best thing that has ever happened to him 😭

-Alex is a hunky boy, but he loves bathing with you :3 something about it just makes him feel extremely euphoric 🥰 but he will cup your boobs the whole time lmfao (no matter what kind you have). That might also lead to him kissing your neck the whole time till both of you are in the mood 😶‍🌫️👀

-Harvey at forth ?! HARVEY?! COME OOOON

-yes, I know. But that doesn’t mean he isn’t cute and affectionate with you ! This ranking is pretty close as all of the bachelors have their qualities that make them good partners 🥺 it’s just based on my own headcanons or assumptions about what they might be like

-ok so Harvey is a little anxious mess but LOVES to be a real gentleman when he’s in love

-I’m talking putting on his finest Jazz and dancing with you in your living room, slow dancing while just enjoying each other’s closeness 👀😍

-Harvey shows his affection mostly through everyday things. Like making you coffee in the morning or cleaning up for you. Not to mention peppering you when you’re sick as well as doing small gestures that show you that he cares and wants to make the effort for you

-Harvey LOVES to put your foreheads together while holding you close. Since he’s way taller than you, he has to crouch a little in order to make it work (it’s so cute omfg 😭😤🥰😍💀🫣🫨😫)

-there are many headcanons about spicy Harvey and I get where this is coming from, but I do believe that his sweet, pure side is predominant. Like yes he will want to sleep with you, you’re a couple and he’s not asexual, so why wouldn’t he want to do that 🤷🏼‍♀️

-speaking of this, he loves to lay in bed with you in your post-coital state. Like of course he enjoys the deed, but what he enjoys even more is the after math that consists of laying together, skin to skin, just talking or laying there in silence and enjoying each other. It gives him the feeling of being one with you, of growing even closer than before 🥺

5. Sebastian

-Sebby can be a really cute guy once he lets his guard down, but I don’t think he is the most obvious in love even when he is very infatuated with you

-he just isn’t that kind of guy, you know?

-Sebastian loves to cuddle with you in bed, especially while playing video games. His room is his safe space and sharing that space with you while doing something he enjoys, it’s just perfect to him

-he will show you how much he likes you by taking you on small adventures despite being a homebody. He didn’t fix up that motorcycle for nothing. Just you and him outside, discovering new places. It’s something he doesn’t offer to just anyone

-in public, he’s very reserved and doesn’t feel comfortable showing his affection, but at home? He latches on you and won’t let go. Of course he needs his space every once in a while, but it’s not rare for him to try and crawl under your shirt with you just to feel your warmth (he’s very cold most of the time)

-he loves touching your tummy. Ok ok I know this one is controversial but he just loves it. When you’re a little soft and he can grab onto something soft and warm? Oh boy, he will….he will 👁️ he also loves kissing your abdomen. Again, don’t ask me, I have my reasons

-when it comes to intimacy, he surprisingly prefers giving over taking. I have a feeling he prefers non-penetrative sex more ? At least speaking of “traditional” straight sex. -you all know by now that I have a mild obsession with this guy, but yeah…I gotta admit he isn’t cutting it in this ranking

-it’s not that he isn’t capable of giving a lot of love, but he has his barriers that keep him from showing his love freely

-he will get there eventually, but before that, he’s very…well…tense ? He has a hard time initiating romantic gestures or telling you nice things

-again it’s not because he doesn’t want to, it’s that he is in his own head too much that he cannot garner the courage to do so. You’re dating but he still suspects it’s all a tasteless joke on him

-in those moments when Shane beats his inner critics, he can be such a sweetheart omfg

-I’m speaking kissing you behind your ear, caressing your waist and whispering sweet nothings in your ear. He isn’t very eloquent most of the time, but when the moment is right, he just knows what to say to you to make you feel loved

-Shane is the type of person to show his affection through mild bullying and joking around. He might be calling you a dwarf or giant (depending on your height difference) make fun of little things you do that he notices, but it’s never in bad taste. He always makes sure you know it’s just silly banter that usually ends in you two fighting playfully and then tumbling on top of each other, laughing and kissing 🥺🥰

-this man, this man loves when you sleep on his chest. On a lazy Sunday watching tv or just when he wakes up in the morning, noticing your head’s weight on him. It makes him feel useful, like he can protect you (let’s ignore that the farmer slays monsters as a side hustle, k). He will kiss your head ever so softly and whisper how much he loves you while doing it 😌

-if you want him to be the kind to hold your hand in public or kiss you, you’ve set your money on the wrong horse (rehab was supposed to be a fresh start), because he is not that kind of man, sorry 🤷🏼‍♀️ he will start to do it once he gets comfortable enough with you, but it’s not that much. PDA just isn’t in it with this guy 😤

-his spicy side? He has plenty spice, but when he’s in the mood for some romance, he likes it slow and sensual. MOONLIGHT CHICKEN – SOME PRELIMINARY RAMBLINGS ON POSSIBLE META

We're only two episodes in (soon to be three), but noting that Moonlight Chicken is an eight-parter – that means we're already a quarter of the way through. 👀

So (based on Director Aof's previous work, like Bad Buddy) I'm fully invested in believing that the first few episodes (at least the first two) are going to be reasonably heavy with planted elements that will reveal their true significance as the plot unfurls.

It's a bit of a guessing game at the moment what these elements are, but there are already some leading contenders. And how they'll be relevant to later plot developments remains to be seen, but we should be finding out pretty soon! 😍

Top of everyone's list so far has got to be the moon, of course. It's in the title of the series, in the theme song, it's the brand of Jim's favorite beer and it's the central element of the Mid-Autumn Festival (which is exactly when Jim meets Wen).

According to Chinese belief (remembering that Moonlight Chicken is set within a Thai-Chinese context), the moon is at its roundest and brightest on the night of the Mid-Autumn Festival. The moon in Chinese culture and tradition is referenced in various ways, but its chief significance at the Mid-Autumn Festival is that it represents the concept of reunion, especially reunion of the family (paralleled by the belief of the moon returning to its fullest and most complete form at this specific time of the year). And I think this conception of the moon as a metaphor for idealized completeness (whether in home or family life, or even in your own heart) is especially relevant to Jim and Wen.

What we see in Episodes 1 and 2 is that their lives are still incomplete in some ways. Wen's home life is marked by emptiness, with his partner Alan most notable for his absence than anything else. The lack of even a household animal for companionship in the residence they share is made all the more stark when we see how naturally and immediately affectionate Wen is with Jim's pet cat at Ep.1 [2/4] 1.11. (Part of me wishes Jimbo was a rabbit though! Because in Thai and Chinese belief it's a rabbit that lives on the moon. 🐇🌙💖 You can see a bunny on Jim's beer can because of this.)

Jim, on the other hand, does have (found) family all around him – Saleng and Li Ming read like his surrogate children to me, and he's also somewhat of a patriarch to the neighborhood (everyone calls him Loong, meaning Elder Uncle). But Jim's is a one-parent family that is rambunctious, needy and sprawling, and in giving so much of himself he's finding it tough to cope alone (while at the same time mysteriously rebuffing all efforts to shift him away from his state of singlehood).

I think this point about the incompleteness of Jim's family life is also underscored right at the very start of Ep.1, when he steps out of his diner into the street at the end of the opening scene – in the forefront of the shot is a makeshift altar for Mid-Autumn offerings, which you can logically expect to be the focal point of a family's rituals during this season of reunion.

But Jim stands there alone, and contemplates the moon, the altar and the street with no one by his side. 😥

This moment of solitude is referenced yet again in the scene at Ep.1 [1I4] 11.58, when the kindly neighborhood auntie reminds Jim to pray at another moon festival altar, and then speaks of his (or his and Wen's? 🤔) future children – once again the idea of completing one's family is being evoked (with the subtext being that Jim's own family life has yet to achieve completeness).

I also think Auntie mistakes Jim and Wen for a couple, and Jim plays along by taking Wen's joss sticks from him to plant into the holder together (which is why Wen looks a little taken aback at his forwardness, but this moment nevertheless foreshadows their coming together later):

So far, so obvious. But for me the one element in Ep.1 that absolutely crackles with parallels and sparks of potential future significance was revealed at Ep.1 [2/4] 3.20, when Wen looks at Jim's DVD:

The subtitles are a bit of a mish-mash here, and do not match what Wen reads off the DVD cover.

The English title for this 1996 Hong Kong movie is Comrades: Almost a Love Story (and it's a much-loved classic of contemporary Chinese cinema). But its Thai name is very different: เถียน มี มี่ 3650 วันรักเธอคนเดียว, which translates to something like Tian Mi Mi 3650 Days of Love for You Alone. (The Thai title is what we hear Wen reading.)

The Tian Mi Mi part is actually a nod to the movie's Chinese title (甜蜜蜜, pronounced tián mì mì in Mandarin, and this means something like sweet as honey, i.e., very sweet). But it's not the literal meaning that's being referenced here – Tian Mi Mi is also the title of an iconic Mandarin pop song by the singer Teresa Teng, and indeed the extensive repertoire of the late Taiwanese chanteuse is heavily used in the movie Comrades: Almost a Love Story, not just as background music but also as a feature around which a lot of the plot revolves.

Significantly, Moonlight Chicken's own theme song is another of Teresa Teng's greatest hits – The Moon Represents My Heart (月亮代表我的心/yuè liang dài biǎo wǒ de xīn) and it's no coincidence that Moonlight Chicken's creators have chosen it.

Among all of Teresa Teng's recordings, The Moon Represents My Heart has also acquired an unexpected queer connection (see this explanation linked here). This surprising relevance to (Chinese) LGBTQ+ history and romance thus makes its use in this Thai-Chinese BL especially appropriate, in addition to the lunar reference. (Interestingly, the lyrics aren't so much about the reunion of loved ones, but more about the authenticity and unchanging nature of true love, with the moon here symbolic of that which is profound, constant and without guile.)

But the inclusion of The Moon Represents My Heart in this BL is also a nod to the songs used in Comrades: Almost a Love Story. I think they're making it clear that there will be other parallels between this movie and Moonlight Chicken, and so we should watch out for them too.

With that mandate in mind – Comrades: Almost a Love Story is about two very different individuals from mainland China (northerner Li Xiaojun and southerner Li Qiao) who move to vibrant 1985 Hong Kong in pursuit of their dreams for a better future. After a brief dalliance, their lives take them in different directions, and they only reunite, in New York City, after 10 years have passed. Their old feelings having remained true, and we are shown not just them getting back together, but also (in a flashback) that their pairing was always cosmically meant to be.

Moonlight Chicken's lunar symbolism at the Mid-Autumn festival (that of reunion) and its theme song are certainly called to mind by Xiaojun and Li Qiao's inevitable reunion at the end of the film. And the 10-year interval in their relationship explains why Comrades: Almost a Love Story's Thai title mentions 3650 days (approximately 10 years).

My Big-Brained Sweetheart (the other beloved BBS in my life) is watching along with me, and thinks that Wen's misreading of "3650 days" as "365 days" is signaling Moonlight Chicken's own trajectory for its two main protagonists – their proper coming together (or coming together again, if it is to be a reunion or reconciliation) may happen after a year, not ten. And I can't say I'm not intrigued by this idea.

So maybe they'll tie up Jim and Wen's story at the following year's Mid-Autumn Festival? With a resolution that calls to mind Li Qiao and Xiaojun's? The series' short run of only eight episodes means that this will precede 2023's actual festival by more than six months (taking Moonlight Chicken's timeline out from the past and into the future). Unless there's more of their story planned for broadcast when the Mid-Autumn Festival rolls around again in September 2023... 🤔

Anyway, that's not the only connection Jim's DVD movie has with Moonlight Chicken.

In Comrades: Almost a Love Story, the character of Li Xiaojun is played by the singer-actor Leon Lai (a superstar of the period). Leon Lai is better-known as Lai Ming (黎明) among Cantonese speakers (his surname is pronounced Lai in Cantonese, as it also is in his dad's Hakka dialect), but in Mandarin his name is pronounced Li Ming – and it's exactly the same name as that of Fourth's rebellious, restless character in Moonlight Chicken.

So Moonlight Chicken's Li Ming is named not after Li Xiaojun, but after the actor who plays him – I wasn't sure before, but now that the Mandarin subtitles are out I can confirm that this link is true. (There are many different Chinese characters that are phonetically rendered as li and ming – the only way to be absolutely sure of Li Ming's name is to see the actual characters themselves.)

But Leon Lai himself has acknowledged (in a Cantonese interview, cited on Wikipedia at this link here) that Xiaojun's story also parallels his own (they share the same surname 黎, and Leon was also uprooted from his Beijing birthplace in the north and moved to Hong Kong during his youth, when his Indonesian Hakka father shifted them there).

So Li Ming's story in Moonlight Chicken may well have parallels with Li Xiaojun's in Comrades: Almost a Love Story. I can certainly see how his yearning for a different life, possibly in the faraway west (when he was drawn to the Work/Travel scheme in Ep.2 [3I4]) could match how Comrades: Almost a Love Story's Xiaojun ends up in New York.

And there's still more. 👀

Li Ming's Chinese name (黎明) also plays off themes involving the moon, glinting with variously shaded meanings depending on how you illuminate it. This may have been why the writers chose to use Leon Lai's name instead of the character Li Xiaojun's – the layers of meaning are off the charts. 👍

The Li part of Li Ming (黎) on its own can mean muchness or plenitude, but it can also mean darkness or blackness. The Ming part (明) means brightness (and can mean both well-lit as well as intelligent, just like it does in English).

So one reading of his name is an abundance of brightness, but that's not the usual connotation. The words li ming together (黎明) actually mean dawn. Aside from signaling new beginnings, the dawn is logically (and poetically) also one time when the darkness of the night (li/黎) meets the brightness of day (ming/明). It is thus also a time when polar opposites (night and day, but also moon and sun) meet in a shared moment of reunion, echoing one of Moonlight Chicken's (possibly) central themes. 😍

This coming together of contrasts is also reflected in the Ming part of Li Ming's name. The character 明 (ming) that means brightness is itself made up of two characters that denote the two brightest elements in the sky – 日 (ri, that used to mean sun but is now more identified with day) and 月 (yue, that means month or moon – to refer to the moon formally it's usually combined with the character 亮/liang to form 月亮/yueliang, which is what we see in the Moonlight Chicken theme song title.)

So the Ming in Li Ming's name quite literally encompasses the conjoining of opposites (sun and moon) as well.

I've not fully decided who or what all this refers to yet, but a post by @respectthepetty (linked here) has more to say on the significance of the dawn in Moonlight Chicken and certainly helps point the way. 👍

For the moment though, the characters of Heart and Li Ming seem to me to be as much kindred as they are contrasting, despite their obvious differences in station. Both boys are trapped by circumstances in settings from which they long to break free – Heart within an oppressive, non-communicative family, and Li Ming in his uncle's world, where he feels he doesn't belong. In this, the plight of Li Xiaojun and Li Qiao as outsiders in Hong Kong and later New York also parallels Heart and Li Ming's fish-out-of-water situations.

And reading in tandem with parallels from Comrades: Almost a Love Story, Li Ming's name is undoubtedly signaling certain directions.

Both Heart and Li Ming are from different worlds (like Li Qiao's Guangzhou in the south and Xiaojun's Tianjin in the north, and also the dark night and bright day referenced in the dawn meaning of Li Ming's name).

But they are similar too, just as the sun and moon (that we can see in Li Ming's name) are both bright celestial bodies, and like how Li Qiao and Xiaojun are also bonded in their shared love for the songs of Teresa Teng. Like both sets of examples, (Li Qiao and Xiaojun, the sun and moon) it could be that Heart and Li Ming are destined to come together at some special point, in spite of their differences (as difficult or unlikely as this may be).

To escape the constraints of their vastly differing worlds, they'll need to find that secret third place (their own dawn) where their own union and new beginning can happen, and for their light to shine together. (I can see this perhaps applying to Jim and Wen too, so... nothing is confirmed! 😊)

Sorry to ramble, but they've given us a lot of food for thought. 🤔Now on to the rest of the show, and to see how much of this pans out (and how much will fall by the wayside). Episode 3 is taking us to Loi Krathong, so hopefully we'll get to see more of the Thai side of things as well. 🤩

Joker's favorite nickname for you, hands down, is Bunny followed immediately by (his/my) Light.

He uses Light in more meaningful situations i.e.. when he's in his feels or being extremely affectionate. The meaning behind his Lighthouse is everything to him so he doesn't throw it around willy nilly.

Now his Bunny? Bunny could be your government name with how much he says it lol 🤣 its your unofficial code name within this operation. When Joker says "Bunny" or B, Frost, Mac, and Neo knows he's talking about you. Its a great way to discuss things pertaining to you in front of others while keeping your identity confidential.

Examples:

"Who has eyes on the Bunny?"

"Uhh Boss? You got a message from B. She asking what you want for dinner. I nominate that butter chicken she made two weeks ago.."

Other nicknames Joker uses is doll. Its self explanatory although it can be used sexually because it rolls of his tongue so easily. It falls in his more playful banter lineup, but still very universal. Now Baby doll is top tier. Its an automatic compliment! Whenever you hear baby doll, you know you look fione or you know that Joker is being super sweet. Insert heart eyes and a dopey smile directed at you. 😍

Sugar is a relatively new one that J is testing the waters with alongside Donut. If you read Slippery When Wet or the dickcussion head canon then you'll know why he's using it. Y/n is not a fan of donut for obvious reasons.

Another name that J will use is sweetheart. Its used more for sarcastic vibes but it can also rile you up if he uses it sexually.

Which leads us to Joker's favorite nickname in bed. Princess is used exclusively for sex. When he says it, you know what mood he's in, what he's thinkin about, and what's gonna happen. And girl? You better be ready. Joker almost always bites his lip after he says Princess. It holds power and he only uses it when the two of you are alone.

Oh and I almost forgot about pretty girl! Its another one that J uses when he's being playful since he normal says, "pretty little head" a lot. He loves your intelligence and his pretty girl needs to be reminded every day! Calling out for his Pretty girl is a normal greeting whenever Joker comes home. Or a quick, "Hey pretty girl" if the two of you are out in public and get separated.

Now out of all of these what's Y/n's favorite? It took you ages to accept it but Bunny is your fav. Princess makes you blush, and there's plenty of others that make your eyes roll and groan.

Stage 1- First meeting: Unbeknownst to Yuuna, who was desperately trying to blend into the expectations surrounding her, Vil saw beyond the facade and glimpsed the strain in her eyes. Their initial interaction was polite, it was on book 2, where the moment she stepped on the room it was that silly saying “love at first sight”, but definitely she had a small puppy crush on him, she would tend to notice him more often than before, not just because he is a housewander, but he had a charm… Nothing too intriguing or away from casual happened; there lingered an unspoken connection that neither of them could ignore, but that would be reviewed later on.

Stage 2- Deal with the Schoenheit: In book 5, Vil had an idea for how to win people’s attention for his upcoming competition with Neige LeBlanc: Dating someone, if he showed to be gentle not just with fans and cameras but with a partner, maybe it would catch others eyes. After class, he proposed the idea of a fake dating scenario to Yuuna, a friend, and thought he didn’t knew her for not that long, it seemed like the perfect solution, she had the elegance and pretty. Without counting, people were intrigued by the magicless girl, and how she helped and fought 4 overblots, who wouldn’t like to look further more up on them?

Stage 3- Fake it and pretend it: It started simple; they had to pretend as if not wanting to get caught on public together, but oddly enough, they would be weirdly close whenever “out of public”, the first one to noticed was Floyd who told Azul immediately. And with that, the rumor started. After the rumor spread, it was more obvious, he would drop off her in class, she would sit down with Vil instead of Ace, Deuce and Grim. The bomb it was when Jamil was back to get something he had forgotten when he was practicing, he caught along with Kalim; even though it was only one kiss and Vil promised never to do it again… Yuuna feel like she wouldn’t mind doing it again. After that, they would walk to class holding hands, he would kiss her forehead, hold her waist, gift her flowers and all those things. Just two more weeks.

Stage 4- First one to fall: Yuuna just had one problem, she started to become more what she thought Vil wanted her to be, just like she did with her parents. She was a mirror of what people input expectations over her, as the girlfriend of a famous model like Vil. So, one day the panic was stronger, she missed the first period of class until Vil comes to see her; Yuuna was laying on the floor, hugging her knees and crying. Afraid to have the same problem she had with her parents all over again, after all she finally was able to get a personality of her own. The more Vil approached, the more he notices her afraid of him. Yuuna had bad memories and was taught that cry is for the weeks, so he expected the rightful punishment, but instead… He stays there for her reassuring it’s okay and he has the time to hear her. After that, Yuuna has fallen… She had fallen for Vil, for his dedication and understanding. And for finally feeling appreciated. There’s one week left.

Stage 5- We still pretending, right?: After that, Yuuna has got more comfortable around Vil. She felt save, and she did pushed herself trying to make advances on Vil (she never did so), at least she tried. And Vil- He was confused, suddenly everything he was doing didn’t felt only platonic or a pretend relationship. It felt he wanted that with her… But his mind immediately stop the thoughts, one day she would go back home and her home is not in that world. Why hope for something stupid? No wishing well would make that one come true. Half of a week to go.

Stage 6- Ink flows: Vil poisons Neige. That was the shock for his overblot, he tried to take out his opponent! The overblot caused everything to decay, everyone was tired after the fight, Vil was recovering and Yuuna… Well, she was the one who jumped in front of Vil when she saw something that was going to hurt him falling down. Yuuna rushes to not get Vil hurt, and she was able to do so. But now she is also the one who needs rest, she quietly lays on the bed of the nursery. When she hears the door crack open in the middle of the night, “Yuuna?”

Stage 7- The public saw enough: They are similar, aren’t they? Vil lived on the shadows of the main characters. Yuuna is the shadow, the reflection, the dark. Everything but, the hero of their stories… Their own stories. Vil was wrong he knows that, Yuuna didn’t tried to defend him, as she was too disappointed to say anything about it. Not disappointed to him, she was mad, but she knew the pain he felt… That’s the point; Yuuna was disappointed with herself because she knew how he felt and she doesn’t know how to make him not feel that. “I don’t think we need to pretend more, right?” She asks Vil. Yuuna was tired of the pretend game, she caught feelings that were never going to be spoken out loud, and Vil… Still missing for some things for his puzzle of feelings. “Yeah, I think we are done. Thank you for your help, Yuuna.” He says his heart breaking as if really going through an actual break up. Looking away Vil ties his hair up trying to get the fresh air better. It all felt suffocating. Meanwhile Yuuna stands looking at the door, she wants to do what she has in mind, she can’t.

Stage 8- The finale: It’s been long enough, after the SDC’s results Rook told Vil to trust himself more and this would be his the key, right? So he trusts that Yuuna likes him back… He hopes, at least. After all, Vil, despite his initial disdain for fairy tale illusions, couldn't deny the allure of Yuuna's true self. He liked that side, the side where she doesn’t work for people’s expectations, but she works for herself. That’s what made him fall.

Vil: What are we?

Yuuna: Friends, right?

Vil: No… What are we, Yuuna?

Yuuna: . . . ?

Vil: *Sighs* I just… I just cannot seem to ignore that half things I did with you were just a platonic or pretend thing.

Yuuna: . . .

Vil: Sevens… Say something!

Yuuna: . . .

Yuuna: You have the most beautiful heart, I’ve seen, Vil. You are so kind and determined, and even with the overblot fiasco, you never give up.

Vil: . . .

Yuuna: You are simply the fairest of them all, Vil Schoenheit. I just wish you could see it…

Yuuna: And I’ve fallen for you, yet you deserve so much better-

Extra: In Book 6, Vil panicked that Yuuna would leave him because of his older appearance. Which she shakes her head and promises that he wouldn’t be going around any time soon. <3 Until, Book 7 where they have an argument because Yuuna is conflicted between Vil and her home, meanwhile Vil thinks he is an insuficiente reason for her to stay.

Small(?) update on the Du'met!Erin au.

ok, so it's been what? a month since TDiM community chose the Du'met and Erin role/character swap AU and the bad news is: No, I haven't started writing it yet(disappointing I know and I am so sorry I have never written anything before so I will be slow with it :') BUUUT I do have some information about it! the brain has been storming the past month!

Ok, so first of all I would like to clear up some things before people start to question it.

1(and probably the most important at least imo): With Erin and Hector being swapped I would like to clear up that Jamie and Hector are NOT LOVE INTERESTS!!!! They are BFFs instead and Jamie's room scene will be slightly different and not at all romantic(at least between Jamie and Hector). And now that I'm writing that I feel like that was probably obvious since I did put it in a JERIN fic poll but JUST IN CASE.

2: The whole Manny Sherman and Hector being in the FBI thing will be sliiiightly different. Without giving too much away, Hector was still in the FBI and worked on the Sherman case but was able to catch himself before Sherman brainwashed him basically and resigned shortly after. However~ This time he had a partner investigating the Sherman case with him and let's just say maybe taking the tapes home with you (illegally btw) and stuffing them in your attic for someone to possibly find later on wasn't a good idea...

3: Erin still has asthma. That doesn't change and it actually has plot relevance.

So yeah! that's the "clear ups" if you can call them that?

ok so basically, for plot reasons I am swapping Charlie and Jamie's placements in the story, and by that I mean, Jamie falls down the trap door instead of Charlie in the freezer and she goes through most of the stuff he goes through in the actual game and vice versa with Charlie and what Jamie goes through, and I am debating if I should do the same with Mark and Kate. There's no reason to do that really, but I think it would be fun!

I am also now realizing(not really now I have thought about it for like 2 weeks) that with position swaps also means death swaps👀👀👀👀

Also side note: I have been debating if I should do little one-shots for all of my Jerin AUs to give people a basic kind of plot or story for all of them. Obviously, I'm going to make and finish the Du'met!Erin au first before going into any of my other AUs for them. Some of them (HoA AU and Ultimatum) won't be getting one-shots since they are one-shots in and of themselves, but my other AUs(Like the 1980s murder wives, Deadpool x Spiderman, and my many(by many I mean 4 XD) werewolf AUs. Oh! "start getting ready” I hear my mom say from outside my door soon having her footsteps walk away. “I will” I said as I went to my closet and picked out my clothes. Tonight was the night I had a dinner party with ranboo, his family aka the host and other kingdoms from across the nations. Prince ranboo at that. We would always hang out and were pretty close with each out, practically inseparable. On the other hand, ranboos parents wished we were separated, ranboo’s parents never liked me since they saw me grow up and I didn't understand why but got over it after a while.

You finished buttoning your shirt and made your way out the door. You make your way to the front of your kingdom where both your parents can be seen in the ride waiting for you. Your mom motioned you in a rude manner with her hand to get in already so you complied and quickly got in sitting next to your father. “You better hope we aren't late because of you” your mom scoffed, giving you a stern look. All you could was awkwardly smile and nod your head, “it won't happen again” 

After what felt like hours you made it to the whole event. You watched out the vehicle's window ranboo with his parents there looking like he was greeting everyone with his parents. Your butler opened the vehicle's door, you and your family stepped outside and your mom and dad immediately made their way to ranboos parents. You followed behind staying behind your parents and noticed ranboo looking at you a bit red, thinking it was the heat since it was a bit hot. You just gave him a little wave. Soon enough everyone went inside making you and your parents separate as they went to go talk to other people and you just stood near the drinks. 

You were observing the crowd of people until you heard what sounded like a crash of glass making you turn your head. “WHAT DID THEY DO TO YOU THAT YOU KEEP TREATING THEM LIKE SHIT BUT THEIR PARENTS LIKE GODS '' it was ranboo. You walked closer to the scene in the now completely silent ball room. You saw ranboo standing there with true anger in his eyes as his parents stood there shocked. By the looks of it he dropped his drink out of anger as well. Before his parents could react he ran out of the ballroom. Everything was silent for a few more seconds but you didn't care you walked right out that ballroom going to check on ranboo. 

You knew exactly where he went, the flower field, you and Ranboo always hung there and it was his favorite spot to be at. With your correct guess you saw ranboo standing there looking at the sky, “you ok?” By breaking the silence you scared ranboo a bit making him quickly turn his head, “oh, yeah” you walked up to him and stood next to him. “Thanks for protecting me” he was obvious he was talking about you during that fight so you felt honored, “it was nothing” he chuckled looking at you. You both looked at each other with the moon light shining on each other. “y/n..I like you..” ranboo said, looking at you with a sad nervous expression. 

You smiled in return and kissed him under the stars. Panicked but relieved in a way he kissed back. As you both parted lips still inches apart you mumbled, “i thought it was just me” before pacing your lips together once more.

Moth oc already has a slightly injured wing!! He can still fly but it's even more delicate than before. He hurt it on a mission, found kids dangerously close to the battle tried carrying too many of them to safety at once :( he had to stay in hiding with the kids until the battle was over and Price found him :(

Moth gets very aggressive if people touch his injured wing, though he's not that violent. More just yells at the person, sulks about it for awhile and then eventually apologizes for lashing out (if it was an accident, if someone purposely touches his wing? They might get body slammed)

In this au I have Ghost being a vampire!! I just thinks it's cool and fits him!! Plus he's already completely covered from the sun with his mask :3

Moth also doesn't like aggressive lighting despite what ppl expect!! He likes soft lighting, fairy lights, soft lamps, etc. And his room is the absolute comfiest!!! (he needs his own room bc his wings so big and delicate. First night rooming with others, ppl kept accidentally stepping on his wings)

Lastly, Price is a werewolf because hairy man with pussy😍 and Soap is fire dragon... For obvious reasons :3 plus he'd look cool as fuck with horns and scales

In The Other Woman, we know Marina is attracted to Michael and he is very much aware of that and the attraction is mutual. We also know he saw a picture of her before meeting her. What was his first impression of her then? Did he decide he wants her and is going to actively pursue her or was he initially resisting those desires?

Then (and this has to be hypothetical because in no world would this ever be a thing lol) let’s say Marina wasn’t smitten with Michael, like she regards him as handsome but other than that doesn’t linger much, would Michael still pursue her? Or would he have let her go? Like was her obvious attraction a green light to go ahead with the seduction plan?

I apologize for all these questions but The Other Woman just so good, I can’t help but think about it constantly😅

When Michael first saw a picture of Marina, he knew he was extremely physically attracted to her but he was easily able to push that aside and focus on what mattered then and there; Marina's experience as a private teacher and her possible reluctance to work for another mafia family. Those two factors could be seen as potential "issues" but Michael automatically had a workaround in them within his mind.

For one thing, even if Marina was lost and unable to put together a curriculum, Michael would give her all of the time and support in the world as well as his patience for her to get to where she needs. He would ensure she has ZERO pressure. As for Marina's distrust and dislike in the mafia (for obvious reasons) Michael would have no issue even gaslighting her into trusting the Corleone family, easily able to hide the "ugly" and criminal parts of the family and knowing everyone has a price they'd consider bending their morals and what they know to work for. He would have her work for the Corleone family one way or another, but he'd never force, threaten or hurt her.

Now what Michael didn't expect, especially when he saw Marina's photograph for the first time, was how powerfully attracted he would be to her. It fueled his thoughts of "I can have whatever I wish, and she could be one of them". 🥴He did resist his own desires for the most part, but he did so knowing Marina would pull them out of him again in person.

If Marina wasn't the way that she is with her attraction and emotions towards Michael, it would be very easy for Michael to pick up on it and find out (even if it means using others to) but it wouldn't mean much to him. He would continue to persue her until he wins her over. He would have endless reasons for her to want him in the end. I think that would be riskier for Michael too, because he would actively be seeking to have more of a meaningful relationship with Marina than purely a sexual one... 👀👀

As for Henry, I am a simple woman. His accent as August is my fave

I think he nailed it. I am not an American so hard for me to notice certain stuff but I do think he has a decent accent in that one. I also enjoyed his accent in Sand Castle of course. Sy’s Texan drawl made him sound completely different.

These characters are not even Henry to me, they are their own thing ;)
