OC-tober - Using Magic

Evergree is a forest spirit, he uses magic to grow and heal plants all the time.

The forest he lives in is a lush and thriving location because of this; he takes very good care of his plant friends.

I think about the cold veins of the creek

It breathes into me when I weave through it’s lungs

I am nothing more than a parasite in its presence

When the gnarled bones catch my skin I am held in limbo

It’s eyes watch me

I am unnatural

Tumbling stones in constriction I dig my hands into its skin to hold on for life

I am being plucked away clinging above a sweeping current to dispose of my complications

No matter how many times I plea with it’s voice and reason

The sliding mud seeps into my shoes

I’ll give up everything to live just let me prove myself I can be an aquired taste like asprin

It falls on merciful but blunt ears and I tumble down the cliff to the waters edge

I stare at my hands in the muddy red water

Its blood mingling with mine the soft clay under my nails

The raging blood calls to me

I’ve been marked as yours

So teach me use your tendons to draw from me

The beast inside crawls through my skin

Insanity takes hold as my skin melts away my antlers grow

I can be sculpted by the ugliness of your nerves I’ll take it all

Long claws and spikes I am a wanderer amoung its soul

Let me bring peace i’ll hide under tissue and fat to bring cleansing to a growing virus

You spared my life but I wont spare theirs

You want me to silence humanity then so be it

I’ll do so with a spear

Day seven: Nature!

I noticed this list didn’t have a unicorn on it, so I created a deer-unicorn hybrid (my unicorns are pretty deer-like anyway). This time I actually used a source too yay! In my head, it’s a guardian spirit of a chilly woods, perhaps Scandinavia or Scotland. I only put on a quick wash of watercolour, but I really wanted to make the creature stand out in a dark woods, which I think I achieved well.

Name Amethyst  Age: old as Earth  Race Peryton  Hates: garbage in the forest and pollution. Titles: The guardian of the forest or the deity of the forest the animals and the mystical creatures call Perytons the deities of the forest She's from my 2012 series and the series takes place in the same universe as the current one Kuroguro. During the Jurassic period she didn't have to worry about garbage so she didn't have to do too much work, same as the other Perytons. She had 2 calves Flora and Elwood. She was created by the creature of Earth to protect the forest, same as the other Perytons. They get along quite well with the unicorns since the unicorns clean the water with their horns and the Perytons clean the forest and get rid of garbage so they get along well cleaning the environment. They do more work then unicorns so they barely rest and see their families. Persia was getting chased by Mahin and her workers in the forest they saw Amethyst and bowed down to the ground to her. Malina bowed down too. She told Persia to bow down to her because she's the guardian of the forest and she knows Perytons because she comes from a mage family. Perytons get rid of the garbage by using a small breath of fire and once it gets burned they step on the fire before it starts a forest fire.
