A waterfall at Waterfall glen. Recent rain and snow made for some good photo opportunities along the trail, especially of the waterfall itself. 👍🏻🙂 There were few people on the trail and most were very friendly. Had a nice chat with a cross country skier. One even snapped some pictures of me at the falls. Elsewhere I had to rely on the good ole selfie stick this time. 😬 Fortunately, I was able to get a person in this shot to give a sense of proportion. 🙂 Usually, this spot is crowded, but weather kept a lot of folks at home. At the entrance to the Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve is THE mecca for hummingbirds! They flit around between guests and feeders, and have the widest variety of colors imaginable. We even saw one that was such a deep iridescent blue that it looked black! It only serves coffee though, not meals.
