Okay wait I desperately need a qui-gon lives AU where he's sent on a secret undercover mission to the midrim for a year and or two that his lineage knows but kept quiet about because confidentiality, and when he came back the Clone Wars was already ongoing. Imagine Obi-wan and Anakin delightedly going "Master Jinn!" when he returns, completely disregarding the utter confusion of the clones and because they have never ever seen this man man before.

I'm gonna be real even though Bendu calls Ahsoka "former Jedi Knight" in their conversation in that one Filoni tweet I don't get why people are acting like he actually officially knighted her or whatever. Like it's not like he Officially Declares Her A Jedi Knight cause the conversation they're having has nothing to do with that. I always just took it as him being formal with her or whatever.

#i mean i know WHY people are assuming it's meant to be her being officially knighted. so they can complain about it.#but again the rest of their conversation has fuck all to do with her rank so i don't think that was the intent #remember when tcw first came out and people were bitching about how anakin having a padawan was a plot hole #cause they thought him being someone's master was the same thing as him having the actual rank of jedi master #even though they literally have obi-wan say ''when you're a jedi master you can make the plan'' in like episode 11 #yeah this is just the new version of that #join us next week when we bitch about how obi-wan saying the empire destroyed the jedi knights in anh is bad #cause not all of them actually held the rank of jedi knight at the time #basically what i'm getting at is when the opening of the first ahsoka episode called her a former jedi knight #i'm pretty sure it was just meant to be in the general sense like the way obi-wan used the term in anh #shut up tristan

#they grew up in the temple on coruscant. became a padawan at 10? maybe #their master is tasked with traveling the galaxy finding old jedi ruins and artifacts #and using the force to kickstart the healing process on planets that have had huge environmental disasters #(I am kind of combining those two things because I think lots of worlds with jedi ruins would have been decimated by the sith)#(and that's why they were abandoned)#because of all this I think they spend most of their life traveling the galaxy rather than spending much time at the temple #until the clone wars when they get called back to help in the war #I think they start the war as a padawan but get knighted around year two #they are knighted both cause they are ready and cause they need more generals. I think they get a legion? battalion?#idk which they are officially #when order 66 happens I think they are on some kind of combined assault with their former master #their former master is killed but they manage to escape #I think they then spend the next however long sneaking around the galaxy #trying to find and hide/sequester away jedi artifacts that would be of interest to the sith #or destroying the ones they can't to stop the knowledge from getting into hands that would use it for evil #I think they have some kind of sith nemesis... I have thoughts about making my own oc for this as well.#they and their nemesis chase each other around and fight about the artifacts #eventually I think they join the rebellion #they probably take a padawan at some point... maybe they join Luke's new jedi order?#I am using An'ese as the base for them even though An'ese is in swtor not the current time #there is just so much good angst around the clone wars. who doesn't want to make an oc that struggles #jedi

love how jedi in the acolyte all think about attachment differently…when jecki says that sol shouldn’t keep holos of his former padawans and sol counters that memories help you grow. they feel like a real religion with their differing interpretations! and that’s what it’s all about, truly.
