It’s good to know where you are going; it gives you a goal to focus on. Knowing where you are going brings shape and intent to your actions, it helps you make decisions, and it helps you tell the Universe what to bring you.

Neither of these, however, are what it’s all about. Being in the moment, present, in your journey, will teach you more than looking forward or backward ever will. It is in the moment that your true lessons happen. Do your best, every day, in every moment, to pay attention to where you are and what is going on around you.

I've Been Waiting for This

My third artwork for Month of Love 2021, for the subject "Embrace". After many sketches again, I finally decided to create something about change as forward progress. Sometimes we look only back at what we give up, lose, and leave behind. Especially when stressed, we tend to see any change as to be avoided, but I do love the proverb "If life gives you lemons, make lemonade". Doesn't hold up in all quoted cases but it is wise. Because, isn't it change to start that new language? Master a sports trick, or a delicious recipe? Meet new people with ideas we never had ourselves? Discover artwork, learn science, or find that new way of stacking cushions to the perfect relaxation couch? Who then misses their old self, who couldn't do the backflip, or made un-fluffy cakes, or never laid comfortably on the couch?

I've been using 3D models in my artwork a lot lately. Photos are better, but most 3D models work for free, and the light more versatile. I find that it enables me to more complex things I didn't dare before. And once I no longer fear them I can expand. This is a digital piece done in DAZ Studio, Blender, Photoshop and Painter, with overlaid textures created with Apophysis, and acrylics pourings.

NTM how down and out I actually am again, but anyway— 'Knowing damn well that to this life [ESPECIALLY] on this planet EVERYTHING is subject to there dumbass whims, etc.. Yah call and vote them very same idiots to "#Leader" positions. "What you know about taking it on the wrist because even YOUR boss knows that the so called "#Job" they “”EARNED”” is in jeopardy when I’m around too. #HowIronic;😔"#LifeOnEarth”.. Two weeks post surgery. I removed the steristrips last night with no problems. The four incisions look great and are itching like crazy! I used the Constant Passive Motion machine for the last time last night. My PT said I could start progressing past 90° flexion so I tried it and got to 98°!! Progress is a good thing! WEEK 3 ○ DAY 1 Got my mirror out to check my form this morning! It really helped! I used it with the weights of course but also to challenge myself to get my foot up to my other knee on the soccer runs.. this morning I was wondering if I'd actually be able to keep a ball from dropping 🤔 Chances are slim but I'm intrigued none the less! •I upped my weights on all the moves except for skull crushers. My triceps are still pretty weak and I didn't need to make the name of the move literal. •I allllmost killed all of the lunge jumps I made it through the 1st 2 rounds and until about 10 seconds left of the 3rd before I had to modify to keep from falling over. •Tricep pushups still aren't my friend.
